She has dreams of blood and violence that frighten her, as if she's fighting the tiger side of her nature at all times. Her favorite character is Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe, strangely enough, because he's quiet and graceful as she one day aspires to be. She hates confrontation, but can be pushed to the point where she'll attack, mainly out of fear. Kisa is a watcher, happy to watch the main picture from the sidelines. She wouldn't know what to do if she knew she was the main character in a story, but she's quite adorable when she doesn't know you're watching. She's inquisitive, intelligent, and a little bit silly. He is kind and helpful, and has a love for beautiful, sweet females. He's a calming influence over most people, and often takes advantage of his Ancient status to reassure people. He enjoys physical activity, and is often found sparring with Silva when he's not reading a sci-fi book or writing his own short stories. Silva means "forest" in latin, but it's also the name of Killua's assassain father that looks like the lead singer of Aerosmith. It's also the name of one of the coolest characters in the anime Shaman King. Oh, and Killua is from Hunter X Hunter. 5. Why doesn't Silva have a room of his own? He sleeps on a stuffed tiger for crying out loud! Now this one's interesting, if anyone's actually thought of the question in the first place. Ice's room IS Silva's room. He just lets her sleep in there. It's not like he sleeps during the night in the first place! He's too busy hunting. Arrogant much? You know it. 6. Where does Aleric's name come from? For a long time I've had characters named Lyric. They tend to be wild, crass, and perverted. But for Aleric I wanted the opposite, so I added an "A" at the beginning, meaning the opposite of, such as Asocial, Asymetrical, etc. Then I changed the "Y" to an "E" because an "E" is a more stable letter than "Y," although that might only be in my head. And that's how you change Lyric into Aleric. Make sense? Probably not sweatdrop There will be more answered (or not answered) as I go^_^

=On Silva (ooc)=Probably no one will read this, but I don't mind. Silva is my feien, kind of obvious, huh? But unlike many adoptable pets, he is NOT, nor was he ever intended to be, a "Pet." He's a character, one that I enjoy writing and forcing into situations that will further develop the character, but NOT one that I will coddle and talk about how cute he is and what little habits he has that make me happy. In all honesty, most of his hobbies would probably irritate the hell out of me in real life. On paper, I do find them amusing, but they are there to develop the character only. He is written to be read by others, for their amusement as well as my own. This means, as shocking as it might seem, he WILL be placed in situations that are dangerous, even deadly. And he WILL do things that I, personally do not agree with, or support in any way. He is NOT an embodiment of me, or my idea of a perfect pet. Here's a truly shocking statement, I watered this Silva down from what he was to be when I first developed him. Yes, he does kill mice and rats, but the original Silva is much more cruel and uncaring. This one is in possession of a small, very small, conscience. Meaning he will not always act as you expect him to. But before you sigh in relief, realize that I can easily carry off the original Silva, or even take it a step further and pull off a Snake. In other words a text-book psychopath. And have done so to the point where the character is KNOWN by the reader in a few short paragraphs. Do note, this Silva could quickly be changed to that type of character while keeping to the base characters that have been assigned to him. I made sure of that when I was developing his custom description. Yes, I'm bragging, but there's a point to this. Silva is a character. He will be developed. And if that development includes violence that you might not think should be forced onto a "Pet," then you should NOT read this journal.I must thank Em for giving me a loose rein in this process, and I acknowledge that I am probably less censored then some, but at all times I try to acknowledge the limitations of his physical abilities as well as his personality. Without those things he wouldn't be nearly as entertaining for me, actually. Because those are the bases for his character. I am a writer. That's what it comes down to. I've got my bachelors in English with an emphasis on writing, written a play, a movie, a webcomic, and half a dozen full length novels, one of which I'm trying to get published. I have several poems published, as well. Silva is my idea of a toy. Crazy as that might seem, Silva is to me what a jigsaw puzzle is to a child. A way to keep myself occupied and put a pretty picture together. If you don't like him, well, I apologize. And feel free to tell me that you don't wish to RP with him. Trust me, I'll understand. He is an arrogant, asocial, caustic, stubborn jerk, after all. Things you will never hear Silva say: And then I shall become lord of the dance!! *Stomps the floor, snapping his fingers* I'm actually... I'm actually gay. 7-18-04 I’m not quite sure how to do this, you see, I’ve never had a fairy before. But I think I’ll start out by introducing myself. My name is Ice. I’m a… well, I can’t really sum it up in one word. I travel through different alternate worlds making sure things are… running correctly, I suppose you could say. But, you see, I’ve been looking into the feien race for a while now, I’m a big fan of Corvus’s work, you see, and I’ve come to a few conclusions. One thing I don’t want my fairy to have to deal with is the more violent nature of some of my alternate worlds. Heck, MY alternates. I have one or two that would try to dissect the bloom just to see how it ticks. In other words I’m going to have to keep the door to the alternate dimensions closed. I’ve met a few of the fairies after all, they tend to be a curious lot, and more than most are a bit… well, how do I put this kindly? Absent minded, to say the least. So when my bloom was delivered I had already taken several precautions, locking the door, turning my room into a typical college girl’s room, and setting up a cellphone for my alternates, in case they needed me. I worried about that one… but as I picked up the bloom, gently running a finger over its petals, trying not to poke myself, I had to admit I needed a break. I’ve heard of people doing experiments on their blooms, seeing how they like extreme temperatures, light, no light, some even put them in freezers, I think. But that’s not my style. I mean, if I was pregnant I wouldn’t expose my kid to the desert or the arctic or anything. One, the kid would be in me and I’m not too big on that kind of stuff, and two, it just can’t be healthy. Heck, I don’t know what element my feien will be. I could damage it! BUT, on the other hand, and I’ve been thinking this out for a while, it’s never hurt anyone to be read to. And as much as I hate country music, I doubt listening to other types of music will hurt too much, either. So I’m going to pull out a few of my old college text books,(since I’m an English major I’m sure I have a ton of them that have stories), and start with The Canterbury Tales and work my way forward. *Dreamy smile* And with a good education I’m sure to have a cultured, sweet little feien to discuss literature with! *Doesn’t notice the way the bloom shakes silently, as if laughing at her.* Hmm… Perhaps Machiavelli’s The Prince… To make him know how NOT to act. And for music… well… I could try classic, Bach, Beethoven, Led Zepplin, Queen, Aerosmith, Hendrix, Buffet, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Santana... ((You can see what she grew up on here…)) Maybe some of the newer stuff, Evenessence, Jet, Audioslave and—I’m rambling, aren’t I? I’m looking forward to this! I’m sure my feien and I will get along fine, and maybe I’ll learn some new things. I’m sure everything will go just fine^_^ *************************

7-19-04 So I went shopping, hit the music store and spent more cash then I had to blow, but this is important, after all! I want to see what kind of music my blossom likes. I'm a strong believer in music being a window to the soul. I mean, yeah, the eyes hold that privilige according to tradition, but um... Well I looked all over the blossom and I didn't even see an eyelid. You can't actually see into the eyes if there aren't any, now can you? So I set up my CD player, making sure I could reach the CD's without moving, because 1) I want to take as little time away from writing observations about Silva down as possible, and 2) well, I'm a wee bit lazy like that. Walking across the room over and over again just to change a CD just strikes me as stupid. I put in my Door's CD, flipping through the numbers until I reached "Hello, I Love You," then cranked it up slightly. Then I turned, watching the blossom closely and writing down notes. Not much response, I'm afraid. I was starting to worry my bloom was into that soft touchy crap... or worse, boy band/diva music. I took a few more notes, then changed the track, pulling up "Riders in the storm" and watching again. This time the petels swayed slightly, but I wasn't sure if it was to the music or because it was getting bored. This whole experimenting thing? It's harder than it looks on paper. stressed Maybe I should wait for him to change into a feien and ask him then... I need to put all these CD's to good use, after all!
