Hey guildie. I have some news that is going to make us all sad. Everyone has been talking about how a main character is going to die this season. But, nobody has been sure who. Remember the swamp episode? How they all saw people they lost? But aang saw toph, who was obviously alive? I have a crazy theory that I think may be true. What if toph is the main that dies?
Sorry if this has already been mentioned. sweatdrop

If I remember correctly, the swamp guide said that the swamp will show you visions of people of your past and visions of those you will meet in the future. I don't think she's going to be the one that dies. Plus, where exactly did you hear that a main character in the series is going to die? O.o

I don't think so. She is too popular a character to have her killed off. Plus as is already mentioned: it shows visions of the past and the present. Not necessarily of people who are going to die.
I have to give you credit, though, this is a new and fresh idea that none of us have heard.

He also said it could be the future. Well, thats what aang came to the conclusion too, and the swamp dude confirmed it. I just watched the episode. What if though that the vision ment that he would meet her then she would die later on? See thats how I am looking at it right now.

I think that if any of the "good guys" die, it would probably be Iroh. Which I obviously would be upset about, but I can see it happening.
Azula is also most likely going to die. sad I really can't see any way for her to be defeated, otherwise. I mean, if they imprison her, you just KNOW that she'll manipulate the guards to let her out. And there's no way that she'll turn good.

You can't make such a comparison. Death Note sucks. I do not think Death Note is terrible seeing as I've read a fair bit of the manga and have watched most of the anime since it began airing on AS during saturday's. True it's in a different field that ATLA, but it still isn't a poor anime. I think Iroh might be most likely to die, though I will be said about it. Iroh has thought Zuko the correct ways of Fire-bending and is more of a "father figure" to him. He lost a child, and Zuko never had much respect in his biological father anyhow. [I mean the man burned his kid's face and called in "teaching." >.>] Besides, if Toph is the one to die they might have to bring in another Earth Bending Boy/ or Girl. [If it's a girl, people will began to say "Mary-sue."] Though Haru COULD teach Aang, I'd feel better with Toph staying his teacher.
