This is a PRP in parts.
Part 1: Fireheart requests Fernpelt to meet him at Sunningrocks to tell her he doesn't love her.

Part 2: Fernpelt is devastated and runs back in the direction of her camp only to bump into Mangoberry and discover she has Fireheart's kits.

Part 3: Mangoberry is furious with the discovry of what Fireheart did to Fernpelt and is going to have a fight with him.

Part 4: The battle rages. Thunderclaw has yowled a battle cry, some warriors here it. Others don't. Start of ORP.

Fernpelt sat at Sunningrocks looking towards the stars. What did Fireheart have to tell her that was so urgent?

Fireheart slunk through the trees towards sunning rocks. His ears flat on his head and his tail lashing behind him in disgust with himself. How could he not love Fernpelt? He had been so certain she'd been the one for him, he'd even asked her to bear his kits and she'd consented and now look what he'd done! Fallen for another she-cat! Did other toms have this problem? He knew it wasn't right that he should hurt her like this and he wished more than anything StarClan would either help him stop loving the other she-cat or strike him dead either way would be preferable to the pain he would endure when he saw Fernpelt's face when he told her the news.
Now he was at Sunningrocks, his body stance still the same as he glanced up from his paws, half hoping Fernpelt wasn't there so he wouldn't have to tell her. As if everything were going to work against him today she was already sitting there, waiting, looking gloriously beautiful in the moonlight. He almost turned tail and fled but his paws wouldn't turn, he couldn't go anywhere but forward. His gaze was back at his paws by now and he refused to look at her until he was sitting right in front of her, he glanced up at her for a moment, looking into her eyes before looking back down at his paws.

Fernpelt glanced over as Fireheart came by. "What is it?" She asked curling her tail around his like they had always done. She had to leave soon to go to the nursery so she waited for his answer.

Fireheart wanted so much to just bury his head into her chest and forget all of this, make it go away, like a bad dream, but he couldn't. It was reality and it was killing him. He pulled his tail away from hers and looked her in the eye. His body was shaky as he tried to say the words that would break her heart.
"Fernpelt... I..." he stopped, he couldn't say it, couldn't bring himself to hurt her. But wouldn't it hurt her more if he didn't tell her and she found out later? Besides... it wasn't like she was actually pregnant with his kits or something right? She'd get over it and fall in love with a RiverClan tom and be happy... right?
Fernpelt I... don't... I don't feel the same way about you as I used too." he mewed, the words finally tumbling out. He looked into her eyes, his ears and tail still drooping, he wanted to look away but he couldn't, he'd hurt her and he'd see it in her eyes and then he'd have to live with it and the knowledge that it was all his fault if something happened to her now.

Fernpelt looked at him with a mixture of shock and grief battling in her eyes. She was about to tell him about the kits too. Her paws started shaking and she felt as if they could no longer support her anymore. She turned around and dashed back towards her clan's territory. Jumping into the river and swimming to the other side.
How could she be so foolish to think that their love would last forever...
((Rian I'm going to start Part 2 now. You can post a reply to this post if you want. And, I'm going to make a Part 3 for the fight if that's Ok with you. Just tell me if it isn't.))

Mangoberry was standing on a small hill within the Riverclan territory. He stood quietly watching nature itself. Everything seemed so calm and almost meaningless.
The tom had been growing more silent and distant as the days went by. The playful young warrior he once was seemed to be growing up or just being buried.
Mangoberry hadn't moved for awhile till he heard the fast paw steps of another cat racing in his direction. He turned his head and twitched his ears in curiosity.
"Fernpelt? What's wrong?" Mangoberry called to her turning to pad in her direction.

Fernpelt looked at Mangoberry her eyes full of sorrow. "It's Fireheart." She managed to say before her shaking legs refused to keep her up tears welled up in her eyes as she remembered his words, words that would forever stay in her mind.
I must be the dumbist cat in the world! She thought to herself how could she seriously believe that Fireheart and her relationship would last forever.

Mangoberry's eyes went wide as she fell he crotched beside her licking her ears trying to clam her. "Calm down calm down." Mangoberry whispered his tail twitching with worry.
"What happened? Is he hurt? Tell me what has you so upset?" She wasn't a fool, Mangoberry had believed his claim of love as well, the last thing that would ever come to his mind was that Fernpelt had been dumped.

Fernpelt gazed back at Mangoberry the cat she had known since her kithood. What would he think? Would he think that I was a fool for loving Fireheart? Fernpelt slowly and quietly mewed, "He doesn't love me anymore..."

"He what?!" Mangoberry jumped to his feet with a roar. He was a tom and knew how toms were, to fall out of love so quick only meant one thing. Mangoberry seemed to shake for a moment with anger.
"He fool us both that slimly Thunderclan scum!......" Mangoberry then looked to Fernpelt, mean slander against her x-lover would not help her right now. He croched beside her and licked her ear as though to ask forgiveness for his out burst. His anger wasn't gone though, he just needed a bit more fuel before it raged. Like any proud tom he began to look for that fuel.
"Tell me everything Fernpelt, I'm here." He purred trying to calm her.

Fireheart sat, still staring off into the distance where Fernpelt had dissapeared. How could he have done that to her? What was wrong with him anyway? Didn't he ever love her at all? He knew he did but what had changed that? Then he knew, being away from her on the patrol with Gypsy... he'd gotten closer to the she-cat than he had believed possible before... that was what had changed him.
Weak, how terribly weak he was for moving on just because another she-cat had been there to talk to when Fernpelt hadn't. He walked to the edge of the river, not even really noticing that he moved and stepped in the freezing leafbare water raging around his paws. He didn't really notice the cold, he seemed as though he was trying to make himself numb to the pain that he felt because he had hurt Fernpelt.
(Yeah, fight with Mangoberry is fine with me)

Fernpelt struggled to stay calm. "He wanted to meet me at Sunningrocks. And that's when he told me..." She mewed the most important problem though... "And on top of that... I'm having his kits soon." She mewed looking at Mangoberry with frightened eyes as if she was a kit. What would she do when they came? Who would she say was their father?

Mangoberry had found the fuel he needed, but he had to keep calm. He butted heads gently with her in a calming manner.
"Everything will be alright, I promise." Mangoberry seemed to read her mind before speaking again. "I will take responsibility of the kits if you wish Fernpelt. I'm orange and have stripes so, the markings can be explained. Besides your the only one who ever seemed to miss how I felt about you." Mangoberry smiled warmly too her. "Come on, you shouldn't stay here if you are to have kits soon. Let's go back to camp, I'll get you set up in the nursery then I've got to do some hunting, I'll bring a fish back just for you." Mangoberry stood and offered his shoulder to her. He certainly was going hunting, but it was not for fish. Fireheart was going to taste Mangoberry's claws no matter how deep he had to go into Thunderclan territory.

Fernpelt nodded. Something in her mind seemed to tell her that Mangoberry was not going to go hunting. She knew all along that he loved her. Yet she had to choose Fireheart. It seemed that the right choice was in front of her all along.
