I dont understand what there doing...There shooting themselfs in the foot...I mean first they make us wait for almost a year for new and then stop after 11 eps for some unknown reson...then showing them in other countrys so people watch them on line and then the true fans dont watch it on tv hurting there rateings and the advertizers. Granted I know this is there last session(Surposedly, or at least with these charteres) and they want to milk it but still there hurting them selfs and its the fans that suffer. I mean now its even harder to make or find good forams...its so annoying Yall know what I mean?

Amen to that. Along with the online streaming of new episodes with so much time in between new episodes in the U.S.A. the less die-hard fans are losing interest. This huge gaps of no Avatar is bad for everybody, bad for the viewers and bad for the company.

I am also questioning Nickelodeons move on the whole Avatar: The Last Airbender stance. I think they're trying to milk it but because, as you said they're wait is so long, it's going sour on them. Fans are losing interest and having other countries get the episodes first just kills the ratings for when it comes to the US. I think another reason they're waiting so long is to, most likely, have the ending of the animated series, open for the promotion of the new live action movies that are going to be coming out. All in all, I'm disappointed, like you.

When I was a tiny thing, I watched a show called AH! Real Monsters. Nick destroyed it. A few years later, I watched Invader Zim. Nick wanted to make it more friendly towards young children, which weren't even the age group that watched the show, and in fights with the creator, Nick killed the show.
Then I run into a guy cosplaying Aang with an Appa on his head. After a long talk, he convinced me I should give Nick one last chance to watch Avatar so I picked that up too. Nick alienates the fans and start the process that will kill it before it finishes.
Nick can't be trusted with good TV. They're holding out new episodes so the show will still be running when the movie comes out, but that's just going to result in the fans losing interest in the show, or lose interest in watching it on TV.

I haven't watched Avatar on TV in years. I ended up catching up with the seasons on the internet. And the long break of 'no new avatar' is getting very frustrating. Its hard to keep interest in a show when there are no new, or old episodes running. And how many fricken times can they run Spongebob Squarepants? He's a little yellow sponge, okay, we get it. Run the kiddy show during the day, and give us back our Avatar, god dammit.

It pisses me off that they show Spongebob in its place. If they weren't going to show it, I wish they wouldn't say it is on the TV guide. I want a bald kid. Not a sponge

♪~Even though Avatar is being on hold for a long amount of time, it just goes to show that people who really like the show can wait awhile to see the newer ones. I mean, waiting a month is better than waiting a long and terrible year. So, I'm going to be patient and when it comes, it comes.
Sure it gets annoying that Spongebob takes it's place in all the new episodes but I think Nick is making more money off of The Sponge instead of the Bald Kid with an Arrow, and there are more fans for Spongebob too and it's so addicting, I swear! My 1 year old niece loves the show and I get caught up watching the entire episode.
Spongebob Brainwashes People ;o
But what would have happened if Avatar was aired on Cartoon Network and not Nick?~♫

Personally I don't think Nickelodeon is holding out so the episodes end when the movie begins. I just checked imdb.com, checked on M. Night (Shamalong?)'s biography, and the Live Action Avatar isn't even on it. Plus, taking a semi-educated guess, we would be waiting at least another year just for the first movie to come out.
I haven't been keeping up with what they're showing on TV since I've been watching it online but how far are they on Nick? (It relates to my theory)

The last DVD that was released had up to episode 310. With the actual tv schedule, I think they stopped with episode 311. But I get what all of you guys are saying. It's already the fourth week of Febuary, so where the ******** is our Avatar? Despite that, however, I think they're holding out on us because the fact that other countries have already aired it and most of the fanbase in america have seen it online. It's stupid of us to think they don't know that avatar episodes are online, available to be seen streamed or downloaded. I think because of that, they're taking their sweet a** time before showing more. Maybe they're trying to come up with a gimick, or maybe Nick is just being an a**. Even so, everyone complain all you want, but nothing will change....
....unless someone writes a letter to Nick asking what the hell is going on... ninja

They really are hurting themselves. The longer they wait and milk, they loose interest, veiwers and money.

Okay, so according to Avatarspirit.net (I believe thats where it was) the next DVD which surpasses the DOBS will come out in the beginning of May(I think). Which means the episodes HAVE TO come out by then. xD
Which sucks. But that means they're going to play some time.
Also: Why hasn't Nick said anything? Or Mike and Bryan? Shouldn't some one have released SOMETHING?

Completly true. I remember a couple summers back when I was complaining about waiting 2 months for..what was it...>< something about firebenders..idk, but it was some special and they left off before summer, and had us wait until fall. I wish we only had to wait 2 months ><
