Well, you all know the rules so I expect them to be followed, got it?! xD Sorry, a moment of "SUPREME AWESOME CONTROL AND POWER!!!". ^^; Anyways!
It's a dark and dreary place in the streets of London. The buildings are made of gray stone, covered in moss and the hags that prowl the streets looking for children to scold come often to send many kids to orphanages. The orphanages are rarely visited by any adopters(sp) and the teenagers are the last on the list to be cared for. No one wants a snotty, middle-aged kid who is going to leave anyway. If anyone wanted to adopt, it would be a little blonde headed angel with a beautiful smile under the age of five. So the rest of them are ill-cared for and usually fend for themselves.
Fed up with the way things are, a group of teenage orphans set off to make their own way-- as thieves. They were very bad at it at first, but when they are visited by a strange girl with a top hat who takes lead of them, things change for the lot of them. They steal everything and anything that they please and take orders from this stranger who visits only when she wants to and without warning.
However, nowadays the police are now searching for the culprit who is stealing from so many homes.

Description: Carolyin is very cocky and is quick to reply in any form of retort. She is very street smart as well as intellectual smart and often reads.
History: Her parents abandoned her just a year ago when she was thirteen because they couldn't "afford another child". Carolyn had four other siblings; three brothers and one sisters.

Abilities: She's taught herself her own form of martial arts, she's a contortionist (sp?), and can run very quickly, unfortunately, not for too long.
Description: She's a very laid back person who isn't quick to react in emotions. She's quick to learn the ways of the street and tends to somehow blend in, in many of her surroundings.
History: She'd always been in the orphanage, but since she'd been a depressing little girl no one had adopted her, now she's one of the thieves, she keeps most of her past to herself as she transferred from one orphanage to another for reasons unknown even to her.

Abilities: Angel is like a gecco and can blend into any surronding. Not literaly. She has awesome flexibility skills.
Description: She is spunky when the time calls for her to be and quiet when its deemed necessary. Angel also likes to draw and get creative with her appearance.
History: Her story is like every other. Angel was a mistake child. So they abandoned her when she was very young. As she grew older the thought of parents drifted away from her. And now thats the last thing that she thinks about.

However, he is very smart even though he seems very unwilling to do anything involving lifting his pinky finger. As the oldest, he usually keeps the other orphans in check when Miss Thievery is away, therefore his only real talent would be his intelligence and ability to lead. Description: He is reclusive and smart...and lazy. That about sums up Adrien. History: Same as almost everyone, he was abandoned by mysterious and unknown parents who seemed they didn't want him anymore. It never really bothered him at all, so it never really made him sad. Looks:  Gaianame: Angelic Snow Vixen Name: Casper Nickson Age: 16 Abilities: Other than getting himself into trouble...nothing. Well, he's an okay fighter. Description: Casper is a smartmouth. Loves talking back to people, only getting him into more trouble. He isn't in much of a rush to make friends. But what he doesn't know, is that a good friend may come in handy. History: Let's cut to the chase, both of his parents where killed and they burned down the house. Casper didn't want to trust anyone ever again. Which is how it went. While he was in the orphanage he always acted up, then he ran away. Sometimes Casper can seem to come from no where. Not making a sound, like a ghost, soon he became a myth. That he died long ago and his spirit is just trapped in London. They are only half right... he's not a spirit, but he is trapped. Looks:

Miss Thievery stared at the orphanage with an indifferent expression. It ahd been only two weeks since she...well... What exactly was it that she did? Saved a bunch of unwanted kids from starving themselves or getting caught by the authorities? Miss Thievery didn't believe they were unwanted... Or were they? She was just glad to put her abilities to some use. Stealing for herself wasn't all that fun, especially alone. Soe when she had happend to cross the orphans, she picked up a couple of promising ones that had close bonds and gave them a home... And also nudged them into liking stealing. As well as being good at it. It wasn't really her fault that she could 'persuade' humans into being thiefs. Miss Thievery smiled at her brilliance and benevolence. She quickly jumped into the air and glided through the streets of London.
Carolyn sighed as she sat on the cobble stone steps. This place was run down but it sure had an air of beauty about it. Thge large building was once a church with colorful glass windows and brilliantly red pews. However, by now the fabric had faded along with the marvelous stain glass. It still had a strange comfort to it... especially now that it was filled with teenage orphans. Carolyn sighed again and leaned back, staring at the ceiling now. It was going to be interesting living here, in this cathedral(sp) and stealing from rich people. It was mostly pickpocketing, but on occasion Miss Thievery showed up and when she did, it always promised an outing to some gloriously wealthy mansion. Carolyin was on edge waiting for her leader most of the time, hoping to use her lithe ability to scale buildings.

Angel grinned widely behind a fan of cards. Her eyes wondered over to the other players. She was playing with an odd bunch. A whole lot of old people. But all of their expressions were the same. The grin quickly disappeared as she pushed in all of her cash. They looked at her in disbelief but surely shoved in all their dough as well. 'Perfect.' Angel thought to herself. They all layed down the cards except for Angel, whom sat there shocked. The old people snickered and started to pull the dough. "Ah, not so fast, guv." Angel said laying down her cards to reveal four aces. "Read it and weep." Angel said pulling the money towards herself and shoved it into a sack that she had laying by her leg. "It was a pleasure." Angel said bowing, her white hat slipping off. She didn't notice, but when she lifted back up slightly, the hat fell off completely, showing more cards. "Well whaddya know." Angel said chuckling and backing away. "Eh, she swindled us." The men growled. "Get 'er!" The cried. Angel snatched up her hat and the dough then ran off into the streets of London.

Miss Thievery noticed Angel and then looked her up and down quickly, before inferring that hse was an orphan. She grabbed her and with quick feet they disappeared into the darkness. "Hello," she greeted with a strangely beautiful monotone to her voice.

"Er...where'd she go?" They asked pausing to look around. "The little thief..." Another mumbled. "Ah we'll get her next time she shows her face around here." Then they walked off.
"Man that was a close call...eh wait a tic..." Angel turned her head towards the woman. "My God... You bloody kidnapping me!" She shouted.

Miss Thievery stared at her with an uncanny expression. "No, I am not." she said releasing her. "I believe I just rescued you from unknown circumstances." She cocked an eyebrow at her as she spoke.
"Ugh..." he moaned and rolled over on the couch. There were only two other orphans here and they were making such a racket by just being there that Adrien thought he would never get a wink of sleep. It wasn't that he hated everyone, it' just that he plain out didn't like them. Or was it that he didn't care at all about them? Oh well. They were just a bunch of younger, annoying, pesky, bratty, depressed.... he yawned and fell asleep.
Carolyn wobbled to her feet and adjusted her cap that was placed snugly on her flaming hair. She began pacing around the church, admiring the gray stones that were placed in no precise manner. It was cold, but much warmer than outside of the church. Much more lovely then in the orphanage, too.

"Right. Well I'm sure I could of handled those old geezas..." Angel said shifting the bag over her shoulder. "Now, if you well exuse me, I have other matters to attend to. Like spending this loot for example. Cheerio."

Miss Thievery nodded. "All right then... I suppose you don't want to join my little group of thieves then... I was hoping that we could add one more to our numbers so it was easier to carry the jewels that we steal and the money that is too much for jsut the three of us..." she purred the words, filling them with persuasion and temptation.

(I'm lost already, so correct me if I make a mistake! ^^)
Andrea Lee walked around the room of the old orphanage and quickly grew bored. She walked outside and quickly found a street merchant selling interesting jewelry. She walked up to the street vendor and pretended to be just looking. She'd never seen him there before so she didn't bother to make some sort of disguise. She finally spotted an interesting necklace, a crescent moon hanging on it, a nice calming silver with little diamonds put into random places on it. She looked at the street vendor, he was busy bargaining with another man, so she snatched the necklace, stuck it in her front right pocket, and calmly walked away, and to the backyard of the orphanage. She sat on a stool, pulled out the necklace and looked at it. She liked it, though her face read none of her emotions. She lightly stuck it back into her pocket, but zipped it up so no one would try to pick-pocket what she'd stolen. She pushed her sunglasses that she always wore farther on her face so her eyes could not be well seen. She went farther into the large backyard, and sat down under a weeping willow, its long vines hiding her. She pulled out a pocket knife that was in a pocket close to her knee, and began carving a large stick she found on the ground.

Miss Thievery smirked: she had won already. "I am quite sure I am boring you..." she gave a dramatic sigh. "It seems you don't want to join my little thief group so I'll be leaving now..." she said turning, and walking slowly away from Angel. Slowly, as to give her enough time to say something.
Adrien sighed and pulled himself off the couch. He was starving and had nothing better to do, however lazy he was, so he decided to go grab a bite to eat. "Grab" being in the literal term, he was a thief after all. "Carolyn, want anything to eat?" he asked.
Carolyn stared at him, shocked that he had actually gotten off the couch. "Sure... Anything will do..."
Adrien nodded and walked out on the street, in time to see a girl snatching a necklace. "Oooh...." he cooed. "Another thief then..." he murmerd to himself.

Miss Thievery was pleased with her victory. "Oh, well then... Would you like to join, then? Unless, that is, you have something else you have to do?" Right after her persuasion had done it's job, her uncanny mask was up again and she stared out with dull, but interesting eyes.

"I suppose. Got nuthin beta to do...other than spend this." Angel said gesturing to the back that was still slung over her shoulder.
Casper watched London and all of its wonder spring to life before him. The crowds whisping by with thoughts of what dinner was going to be or will I make it to the film. A sigh escaped Casper's lips as he continued on his walk, fading in with the crowd...or so it seemed.
