It would be openly stupid for him to proclaim that the weather had altered appropriately to suit his mood, but he could not help but feel faintly smug as the heavens growled irritably. He had been doing nothing but standing idle, and the sky had proven to be a welcomed escape for his indolence. This newly roiling storm, however...well, it made things somewhat more interesting. Crackles of electricity flickered across smothering clouds, and Nemesis snarled his defiance at being so manipulated by the forces of nature, having no choice but to search for a place to land less he was smote from the sky.
Narrowing his smoldering eyes, he was barely able to discern the streaking, fishy creature that was fleeing across the sands of the beach. A lesser. His mouth was filled with a bitterly acrid taste, and he spat crudely as though to rid himself from the very sight of the other who's paltry existence was beneath him. The big male landed on the beach with little grace, his hooves striking fiercely into the glittering grains of sand. The sky roared and lashed out at the aquatic Soquili with tongues of lightning, as though again sharing his sentiments.
Nostrils flaring, Nemesis allowed himself a cruel grin, throaty beginnings of laughter pulsing in his chest. The sands themselves had been charred from the wrath of the storm--but what was this? The lesser still lived? His burning gaze swept silently across the protruding tail, the tip of his own twitching with violent intent as he began to approach. "It'd have been better if you'd just let it destroy you. Even this storm can't stand to see your kind
live..." He rasped, his voice harsh from disuse. Soon, he'd be close enough to snatch that tail with his teeth; a task he was looking forward to.
