A poem for Miss Alaineus(not really a poem, but what can I call it?):

Do you cry when you remember what we were? I do. Especialy when I find that picture of you and me next to that poem we wrote. Do you remember how close we used to be? Joined at the hip people said. I miss that friendship. I miss how we could talk for hours on end about nothing. I miss how on long walks, or when we sat next to eachother our hands would sort of cling to eachother, without us acting like lovers. I miss how after a long rehersal I would massage your back and you would sigh and tell me how glad you were that I knew how to do that.

And then I had to do the worst thing possible: I had to fall in love with you. We were too young, too close. and you were far too scared to let us be with eachother. I just had to fall in love, didn't I? Because when I told you I scared you off, and now we're not friends anymore. We barely talk, the only time I can think of that we do is when you get hyper, and run around talking to everyone you know the name of.

Once, before summer last year, we hugged goodbye, and you waved as you drove away and said you loved me.

Do you still love me?
