I do, occasionally. Usually if I'm in the forums and I see an avatar that either looks similar to mine ("hey, we're twins! xD") or if I see one that's rawk-awesome.

Ashon_Superior there are other's who look like you? eek ... I haven't found any doppelgangers with this outfit, but there's one in my profile with a fly-head, and I saw someone with almost the exact same outfit one time xD

I use comments when I don't think it'd be worth bothering someone with a pm. Generally just for small talk or less important messages. I don't normally comment random people, unless something particular sticks out about what they said, their avatar, or their profile.

Not unless they have something in their signature about commenting or if they shop at my store or they have a cosplay avitar from a show I like.

I have before. But only a few times. I randomly comment people I've seen in threads or discussions, and sometimes I comment people I find in the arenas. I've only commented someone once out of anger because they completely bashed my avatar in the arena. . .
But that actually turned out amusing.

Back, out of pure boredom, when I used to be on Gaia every day, I would click a random profile, comment, and then click on a random person on their friend's list, comment... and go on from there. I don't even know why I did it, really o_O Boredom isn't an excuse.

If I leave a comment on someone's profile it is usually random. Or full of teh lulz.
