Starpelt looked up from where she lay comfortably on the soft grass. Today was the day the clans set out in search of WindClan. She was really glad she able to attend. But was it necessary that they take two medicine cats? She shook that thought out of her mind and looked towards the East. The direction she wanted to go in.

Nightdevil was making his way across the moor with a sour look on his face. Today they would begin searching for Windclan, and the black tomcat was pleased to be joining his clan's patrol not only because it would mean getting out of camp for a while, but also to make an attempt at making amends with starclan for following his leaders' previous instructions. What had the cat so irritated this morning was his lack of prey. "I have no idea why I ever thought taking over this miserable territory was a good idea," He growled, plopping down in the grass with his clanmates once more, "how in starclan's name are we ever going to feed ourselves out here?! Rabbits are nearly impossible to catch..." He scanned the horizon and found his interest caught by a small copse of trees off to the south-east. "Well, I think if any of us wish to eat today, we should head for those trees; there might be mice or frogs or something catchable there." He turned his eyes on his clanmates, particularly the white tom known as Snowbird and their patrol's leader, and waited for a decision to be made.

Moonstar had agreed to come along as well; she had realized there were supposed to be four Clans, as always. "Nightdevil, complaining will only scare the prey away." she huffed, not particularly happy with this cat. Good thing he wasn't chosen as leader.

Snowbird mingled with his fellow clanmates on the moor, looking for some sign that might lead them to the missing cats.
"I am leaning towards Nighdevil's idea." He said calmly, sitting down and curling his tail slightly around his paws. "While his choice was motivated by his stomach, searching through the cover might give us some clues as to which way Windclan went."
He glanced around at the other cats. "Does any one else have any ideas? Suggestions?" His gaze hovered around the two medicine cats, hoping that maybe Starclan had given them some sign as where to find their fellow warriors.

"I don't know." Starpelt mewed. "I think we should go East but the final choice is yours." She dipped her head at the tom and sat down next to Moonstar.

Heartpool nodded at Snowbird "Sounds a good idea to me..." She nodded again and her pelt prickled as she remembered the dream...Maybe it would matter...Her Leaders didnt... so it probably didnt matter. She just dropped her gaze to the ground and then to starpelt. She had t show she was there for her clan...it wasnt anymore about her medicine cat position...just to show she could be a clan cat. For those who hated halfclan cats...despised her...

Starpelt glanced at Heartpool then at her paws. Today was the day that a lot of cats awaited for. Most cats were excited to be on patrol. But why wasn't she excited?

Snowbird inclined his head, acknowledging the input of the medicine cats.
"I think, since the majority of us are in support of going to the cover of the trees, that we should go south." He stated this with composed calm, trying to be as leader-like as possible. He glanced at the two medicine cats, wondering briefly... what was so interesting about their paws? He gave his own a look and found nothing unusual. Must be a medicine cat thing.
He rose and turned to his patrol. "Lets go then. The sooner we find Windclan the better." and with that he flicked his tail as a signal to move out.
As current patrol leader, I declare that we shall explore... SOUTH

You spend all day exploring a large cave made of many tunnels. No luck though. END DAY.

(Even though it is not yet the 8th in real life PST time, feel free to RP out this event or skip to your cats making plans for the next day. However, a staff member will not update your position again until it is officially the 8th in real life.)

Nightdevil's ears flicked at the comments from both his clan leader and his patrol leader and felt his pelt grow warm with embarrassment. Lowering his head and keeping his tail and ears low, the tom cat began to follow the rest of his group south towards a rocky outcropping with many dark holes. "I was thinking of everyone else's stomachs too, ya know..." He growled quietly as he padded along with his group, a little sore that his intentions were misconstrued as selfish.
(Not sure if Shadowclan is going to RP events or not, so if the group moves on by tomorrow, I'll just adapt to that. :3)

Moonstar held back a grunt. After all she had been through with Nightdevil, she knew he was only saving his hide. She followed the patrol leader, keeping herself ready for any sudden attacks from WindClan, or some other Clan that had an excuse to attack.

Snowbird lowered his ears apologetically to Nightdevil. "Well, the first thing you did was complain about food." He said as he wandered into one of the caves.
They wandered down the tunnels foe awhile until they came to a cross ways in the tunnels. There was one tunnel going straight, to the south, an one going more to the left, to the east.
Snowbird turned to his clanmates after sniffing down each tunnel. "Neither tunnel smells stale, like the dead ends we've encountered, but both hold the potential to lead us out of this maze. Which way should we go?"
