My brother-in-law goes to BYU.
I tried to transfer in, but apparently a GPA of 3.8 isn't good enough. stare
Anyway, they lost thier teaching degree...personally, I wanted to go to Utah State cuz they have a GREAT meteorology program, but my in-laws threatened to disown me if I did. lol.

Well, I ended my Freshman (in highschool) year with a 3.6. Then again, I plan on going to a local college (indiana somewhere) and they don't require too much outa you. As long as I keep above a 3.0 I should be safe.
Although, I remember BYU Idaho kept on sending my sister stuff (free T-shirts, one time a water bottle, I think) and kept on sending her letters about her going there when she was already enroled to Indiana State University. She graduation high school with a 4.017 (I think. Weighted courses you know....)

That GPA is more like what I'm aiming for. I'm going into my freshman year in highschool.
BYU is so pretty! And it always smells so nice there! It could never smell like that in Dallas! I recently went there for EFY. It was great!

I plan on going to BYU Idaho, and I'll be a junior in HS. However, I don't know what my GPA is. On any account, my GPA won't have to be uber high, because my courses are a lot harder than public school courses, and this year I'm taking 2 honours courses, and one AP course. Plus, I've always done a bunch of things outside of school . . . No one from my school's ever gone to BYU, but I know some who've gone to Harvard and better biggrin
[edit] Also, I'm the first one in my direct lineage to go to college (which is something colleges look for), unless you count my cousin Jessica, who went there, and majored in the arts . . .
