Alright, guys. I know it's been a popular thread, but all discussion of the so-called "Black Massacre" will now cease.
Vince, the crew, and I have been talking it over, and have agreed on banning the discussion.*
Reasons include, but are not limited to:
Now, what does that mean for you?
Two things:
1. There will be no more discussion of the Black Massacre in the GIB forums. None. I don't care if they've just revealed plans to blow up the ocean.
If you catch wind of some plot of theirs that is somehow dangerous, there are three routes you may take:
A. Preferably, report it. If it is against the rules, a moderator will take care of it.
B. Contact me or Vince. If we deem the information is important, we will decide on the best way to get it to the affected parties.
C. Acting AS A CONCERNED INDIVIDUAL, and not a member of GIB, report the actions to the person they are directly affecting.
In other words, no posts about the black massacre or related topics should show up here without the direct permission of the captain or vice captain.
2. You are not to interact with participants in the black massacre in an official capacity as a GIB agent.
Naturally, we do not control your personal lives. If you are a member of a different organization, such as the GR, for instance, you can continue to act as a contact between your group and the black massacre. Or, if you just have a general interest in what's going on, I also am not one to stop you from participating.
However, you must make a firm distinction that you are only participating as an individual or as part of a non-GIB guild. In other words: No relaying messages between Black Massacre "members" (using the term loosely) and the GIB. No speaking for the GIB. No role-playing as a GIB Agent, or mentioning the GIB at all--unless it's to say that we're not participating.
As far as the GIB is concerned, the Black Massacre does not exist.
The entire organization/event has been hit with an I.G.N.O.R.E. Cannon.
If a member of the black massacre tries to contact you, you may either ignore them, or politely inform them that the GIB will not be participating in the event, and ask them to stop sending messages to us.
If they continue, you should report them for harassment or put them on your ignore list (or both), especially if it's their usual mix of death threats and skulduggery.

- The alleged spreading of personal information over the internet, which is a dangerous, not to mention illegal, act.
Our pledge (prominently featured on our front page) against participating in user-on-user drama.
The fact that this seems largely put together for someone's amusement, with very little substance.

The spreading of drama and negative feelings.
