Background: Though he was not of official British Imperial blood, he rose through the ranks from a lowly foot soldier to eventually becoming the Lord General of Her Majesty's Armada. After a few years of serving the battlefield under the Queen's name, he then took position as Regent of London after the Queen's death. While waiting for the rightful heir of the throne to come forward (the Queen's daughter being only 16 years of age, sent to an unknown to protect her from assassins and usurpers), Lyander is currently the acting "king" of the United European Armada, though he always saw himself as the rightful 'owner' of the throne and has no intention of giving up his seat of power......

Faction: Neutral (formerly an agent of Neo-America; now a wanted fugitive of his former country)
Background: Born Mikhael Blackfeather Caraway to an immigrant European mother and a Native American Father, Michael's live always consisted of constant bullying and racial insults, not only due to his Native blood but also due to his mother's European ancestry. Thus at the age of 17, to prove to his small town that he was indeed loyal to the American flag, he joined the army, becoming a top-ranked spy before disappearing during a seach-and-destroy mission in Oolong, China.

Name: Romollo "Romee" Gonzaga

Faction: Eastern Faction
Background: Romollo, or "Romee" to the children of the orphanage he guards in Basin, was the son of two Filipino refugee couple. His parents fled Philippines when Romee was just 2 years old, arriving on American soil through the use of a small raft. But, due to lack of paperworks and identification, Romee's parents were sent to prison, at the accusations that they were some sort of Asian spies playing it off as refugees. Thus Romee was then sent to the Basin City Orphanage, where throughout his life he promised himself that he will one day find his parents...or he will die trying.

Background: Zoren Rafalli, also known as The Reaper. Born from peasant parents in Sheffield, UK, he was a loner in his childhood days. People who have been around Zoren during his childhood would all claim that there was something about him that was not...right. And quite frankly, their hunch was right. Rafalli is a sado-masochist, addicted to both experiencing and inflicting physical pain. Blood-thirsty, cruel, malicious...just some of the words that perfectly describe the man.

Background: A cyborg created by the Neo-America government as a weapon in the Wars, Gabrielle was equipped with an artificial intelligence in the purpose of being able to identify friend from foe. But what happened was it developed a functioning "brain", able to not only distinguish friends from foe but also to think. Thus, when sent to a mission to eliminate a European count and his family, Gabrielle hesitated to carry out the assasination as it accidentally walked into the room of the European nobleman's son, who was sleeping peacefully at the moment. Gabrielle then fled the scene, and as of currently no news or sightings of the robot are surfacing...

Background: Nothing much is known about little Kyo's past, except the fact that she was the lovechild of a British female scientist and a Japanese samurai. Her parents met through one of the skirmishing missions of the Eastern Faction in Europe, Kyo's mom being rescued by her father from the rest of his squad who wanted to defile the supposedly ravishing young scientist. They fell in love and eventually had Kyo, who then was sent to an orphanage by her mom in fear of people finding out about who her father was. Then Kyo became mixed up with the wrong crowd and now she considers herself an assassin.

Faction: Formerly of the U.E.A.;Current whereabouts and allegiance unknown
Background: Nothing about who he is or where he is from, just the fact that one day he showed up in his legendary black armor, riding upon a horse to deliver the head of the equally legendary Japanese warrior, Saito Shishi-o to Lyander. Lyander immediately appointed him to General, but eventually abandoning the position as the Knight had an immediate change of heart during one of his skirmishes...

Background: Merchant, story-teller...arms dealer. You need anything? He has it. You need information? He knows about it. Nothing passes unnoticed to Slayer Estevez and for the right price he can give you the edge on any battle either through his marvellous supplies of weapons or secret info about your opponent.

Faction: Neo-America
Background: A spy of Neo-America, Miya uses both her deadly skill in martial arts and her gunplay in the execution of all her missions. Her history kept secret, no information about her past can be gathered, only that she was not a real American citizen, apparent from her thick French accent. A spy who's allegiance is to a country not her own, Miya is a woman both feared and awed by anyone who meets her.

Name: Raphael Socrates Sorel

Ethnicity: Italian/Spanish
Faction: U.E.A.

Heir to the throne of Spain, Raphael ran away from the kingdom at the age of 5 to instead pursue the life of a swordsman. Throughout his years wandering, he had numerous masters, one of them a Japanese swordmaster of the name Saito Shishi-o, the one murdered by the Black Knight. Hearing about his master's untimely demise, Raphael sought vengeance upon the Black Knight, currently scouring the whole European continent to look for the murderer of his master.

Background: Nothing is revealed about him yet, except the fact that rumors had been circulating about how he is supposedly the Queen of Europe's b*****d son, a lovechild with an American prisoner-of-war.

Name: Raul "Thunder" Sverige

Ethnicity: Croatian
Faction: Neutral
Background: Witchhunter and a devout enemy of the Dark Arts, Raul's life had solely been devoted to destroying the things that go bump in the night. Orphaned along with his little brother Astal, their parents were used as human sacrifices apparently for a demon summoned by their hometown, in exchange for granting the town's dying farmlands the ability to grow crops once more. Though it was their parents' decision to willingly allow themselves to be offered as sacrificial "goats", the Sverige brothers vowed that once they can carry the swords of the Paladins, they will rid the earth of evil. He can come off sometimes as very rude and ill-humored, but he is of a really kind heart, willing to risk his own life for the sake of another's. He wields the legendary broadsword "Dusk", supposedly the weapon that the Archangel Michael wielded as the Heavenly Legions fought Lucifer and his minions. Currently the two brothers are travelling across Europe, lending their skills to those who are in need of their assistance and also accepting freelance missions as mercenaries. Both brothers accept not money as compensation for their efforts but instead ask for a good home-cooked meal, the brothers having no home and parents to cook for them thus never having the knowledge of how to cook a great meal.
