I think you'll do fine as long as you don't abuse the counter move.

Ok. I tend not to use that very often, usually only when falling straight towards an opponent.

I'll use anyone but I perfer Zelda/Sheik or Fire Emblem. If the tournament is with more than two people playing at once then take advantage of just letting everyone else kill others until there's only you and another person. It's not that fun (which is why I never do it, but my friend does in tag team tournys) but it'll give you a better chance of winning. Also, be sure to be able to dodge in the air. That is one of the most powerful ways to protect yourself. If you use Ness then take advantage of his healing move and Mr. Game & Watch with his oil attack especially if you are going against Samus with her gun up to fun power(the damage is the same as is would have been done to you so three blasts with Samus full gun can kill anyone instantly).

I think that they should make a sequel for the game but with many more characters such as Diddy Kong and Koopa Kid, and if it wouid take up too much room then it should be two-disc with story mode and event mode on one disc and everything else on the other.

Kirby's throws are impressive. But easy to get out of. I find that Jiggs has the strongest throws.

I usually use Marth or Kirby.
