To start out a discussion here, I pose this question. What are your basic beliefs? Nothing too horrible to start a disussion with. I will even go first. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

ok, well... i was brought up in the catholic church. I was a little disallusioned with them so i started searching. I have been to many denominations of churches, but have settling in to a non-denominational church called the greater grace church. I usually decribe myself as "christain" without labeling a denomination. I am firmly routed in my belief of the bibleand the lord.Though I do not always attend a sunday service, i read from my bible often and pray daily.

I was born into a Christian family, though when I was about two years old they had both converted to Atheists. They never once talked about religion to me when I was younger, and I went to church every couple of months with my grandma and little sister. After a while of sitting through Sunday School, I started to seriously question the information they were telling me. I mean, no one can build a Ark large enough to carry millions of animals, can they? Also, dead rising from the grave also seemed rather ridiculous. It went against everything in my third grader logic, lol. I no longer go to Church now, so I seem to get a lot more free time to myself. Though, my grandma doesn't like it. I found out my parents didn't believe in God either about two or three months later, it was a shock. Though, the fact that they had never gone to Church might have been a clue. .

I basically took the beliefs of Roman Catholic and Lutheran together.
Apart from that, I consider myself Pseudo-Christian. Basically, I have the core principles of the faith, but am open to other ideas.

I was raised into Christianity and still continue to follow it. I'm a member of a Church of Christ. As far as my basic beliefs, I follow the Bible as best as I can and believe in the trinity, which of course includes God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I'll leave it at that, short and simple.

Like others here I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have become inactive and my views are now more agnostic. I can relate to theists and to atheists as I was raised to believe in God but I have also come to find skepticism and the scientific method to be rewarding in the search for truth.
