 As the year drew to a close, and the weather turned colder, Tuuli was still more or less still lost in her delusions of being a princess, not that there had ever been much of a sign that she'd ever think otherwise. In either case, the perma-kit refused to believe that the cold weather was simply a sign of the oncoming winter, instead declaring it a spell cast by the evil kingdom. Nevermind that Saix couldn't control the weather, mind you, or that Xianthe certainly wasn't an evil witch whom could come up with a counter-spell. No, Tuuli was utterly dead-set on the belief that everything was some big plan to kill off the flowers and thus forever ruin her goal to regain her long-lost kingdom of the northeast.
It didn't come as a surprise, then, that today, in particular, Tuuli, decked out with a scarf and ear muffs, and armed with her branch sword as usual, was setting out in search of new 'knights' for her 'army', deciding to set off alone rather than have Friday accompany her. Times were desperate, after all, and, so, the two had agreed to split up and recruit on their own.
After all, it was illegal to kidnap the princess, let alone harm or insult her, so surely this was fine, right?

 With the changing of the seasons bringing in the winter weather, Rena found herself shivering in her normal comfortable attire. This seemed like a perfect day to go "treasure hunting" though, she wouldn't let something such as cold weather keep her from her "hobby".
While caught up in her thoughts of the cute treasures she had yet to find, Rena had stumbled into the path on an oncoming Kitsu. This little Kitsu's attire just added to her cute factor in Rena's opinion. Everything about this little Kitsu was omochikaeri material.
Rena picked up her pace as she neared the little one, hoping she could catch it off guard and take it home. Though she doubted that it could put up much of a fight considering it's size.

Rena, of course, was quite wrong in that thought; a normal kit, perhaps may have been unable to put up much of a struggle against the red-haired female's tendencies to take cute things home, but Tuuli wasn't normal, and probably never would be for as long as she lived. Then again, fairly much none of the kits that had lived in the household, save Sunday, were ever normal, so it was a bit of a moot point.
In any case, Tuuli was not one to be caught off-guard by the former Hinamizawan resident, instead, having been alerted to the sound of another approaching, swung around, swinging her branch sword wildly.
"Halt, whoever goes there!" the kit called, putting on as much of a dignified and self-righteous air as possible, "I am Princess Tuuli of the flowers, from the kingdom in the northeast, and I demand that you identify yourself at once!"

Rena stopped mid step, she certainly hadn't expected the little Kit to notice her nor had she expected it to be so demanding when it did notice her. But had the cute little kit just said she was a princess?
"Hauuuuu~ you're a princess?" Rena danced around the little kit already excited about her new find. "Rena has never met a princess before!"
The red-head continued to pace around the kit, excitement in her steps. Everything about this kit was perfect omochikaeri material and, Rena was bursting with excitement just thinking about it.

"I am most certainly a princess!" Tuuli declared, glaring at Rena, "I am Princess Tuuli of the kingdom of flowers, cruelly snatched at birth from my cradle and robbed of my birthright!"
"You should feel honored to be in my presence," the perma-kit informed her.

A princess! What would be better then omochikaeri-ing a real live princess! Rena was ecstatic from being in the presence of the little flower princess.
Rena picked up the little kit and squished her with a hug. "Hauuu~ you're so cute, Rena wants to take you home!"
