So, I was pondering this question for too long; do you think since there's pirates in the show, they'res Ninjas? The Dai Lai is sorta like Ninjas, but yeah~ open discussion.

They're definitely not typical ninjas, if they are at all. I don't think they will be ninjas, although there are pirates and hitmen. O-O

The closest you'd get is the Yuu Yan Archers.

Yuu Yan Archers. Why are there no ninjas? Because pirates are more manly and ninjas dont rock the s**t as hard.

D; I really think thought that anyone could be a ninja, if they had the flexibility of moving around like a ninja and not get caught.

Zuko is pretty close to a ninja... He is stealthy and he does want to assasinate Aang, correct?

No, he wants to capture Aang.
Ninjas are more than stealth. There's codes they abide by, practices to follow, etc.

Well, the show is more based on Chinese culture rather than Japanese, right? (If not, feel free to tell me otherwise. ^_^; ) There are ninjas in Japanese culture, not Chinese... At least, that's my assumption... Again, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not really convinced with my answer. -_-;

I don't think there are actually ninjas per say in Avatar, just ninja-y moments for certain characters like ZUko as the Blue Spirit.
