Okay, so.. Jaeger and I live in a zoo. Almost literally. And we both like to show off! So, here are some photos of our beasties. First up, the newish kitten: Dodger, the day we got him. Looking pretty, a few weeks later. He's not as innocent as he looks. And he loves Jaeger's laptop. More photos of other critters will follow! We've got many more that we haven't photographed yet, so we'll be adding them in time. Share some of your critter pics! We wanna see them all.

And now my girl, Autumn-- she's a Guyana-locality red-tailed boa (Boa constrictor constrictor) and she's my pride and joy. When I got her, she weighed about 300 grams, was about two feet long, and had a diameter about the size of the face of my watch. This was taken a few months later, after she'd gotten a bit bigger. That was this summer. Now, she weighs nearly six pounds, is pushing five feet long, and is the same diameter as my arm. When she's fully grown? Nine feet, probably around twenty to thirty pounds. A snake this big is a big responsibility, but she's worth it. She's extremely good-natured and has done educational programs for kids. And I love her big dumb head. heart

Weeeell, if we're sharing... This is the love of my life, Phalchorokku. We call him Rokku, or Ro. He's an ice morph bearded dragon. This is him as a baby, with yarn on his head. This is him five seconds later. (Don't worry; he didn't swallow it.) I love the expression on his face here. Doesn't he look like he's plotting something? And this is him from this summer, sitting on my head. I also have three fish, but no pictures of them as of yet.

Pretty doggies! My next-door neighbors have a GSD named Thor. Is yours a German shepherd, or one of the Belgian shepherds?

He's a german. His parents bloodlines come from germany. He's quite special. But we didn't have to pay a huge amount because my mom knew the breeder.

Cool! My neighbor's dog is one of the county drug dogs. I walk him and stuff. He's brilliant. We have a dog... but she's not fond of me, because she barely knows me, because I live away from home.

Oh, all these animals are so pretty! I just have to show off my boys now: My youngest, helping me move... He's three years old now and unbelievably cuddly. Everytime I come home he MUST get up on my shoulders and once there, he will stay until he's good and ready to get off, thankyouverymuch. On cold nights he sleeps with me under my duvet, his tiny, cold little paws pressed up against my nicely warm stomach. His name is Mercury, but we usually just call him Junior. This is my second cat, Junior's father: His name is Leo, he is almost six years and such a little fuzzball about cameras. As you can perhaps see, he is mewling at me in this picture, because I am keeping the camera out of his reach. I don't know where he got it from that Camera = Happy Fun Playtime, but it's darn near impossible to sneak up on him with one. I did manage to get ONE snuggle-picture of them, though: Leo is chocolate-colored, Junior is black... well, mostly. Even after the back of his neck grew some decent fluff, it's still grey... and those tiny little spots on his head? Not bald - white. He's classified as black, but I don't know... he sure is a funny little guy.

This is DS Little Lady Godiva (We just call her Dyva) - She was born 1/1/02 so she's my new years baby. I just love her to bits, but she's fixed because she has siezures. And this troublemaker is DS Cinnabar Skye (AKA Puuchuu - because she's just that cute)- born 6/26/2002. I've had two beautiful litters of 3 puppies each time from her, and will probably only breed her one more time next year. Once I have pictures of our cats I'll share them here. I just gotta get them to hold still long enough to take a good one. xd

Beautiful critters! Does Leo have a little bald spot on his head, Pearly? I like Rexes. Lots of personality.

You can call me Blue, to avoid confusion with Pearlyunicorn. Oh, yes, they really are my favourite type of cat! They behave almost like little dogs, sometimes (I've even played tug-of-war with Junior), and never seem to grow out of their kitten mindset that everything is a fun game.
And yes, Leo does have a little bald spot on his head. It's more like a slightly fleshy lump, actually, and I've asked the vet about it. She said it was probably just a small, benign tumor, but nothing to worry about despite the dramatic word. She offered to take it away the next time he would be anaesthesized, and took a picture of it to show her colleagues... eek

This is my cat, Dinah, from when she was in the shelter:
You can't tell so much here, but she's a seriously FLABBY little thing. I don't know how she does it. o-o She also loves bellyrubs and talks incessantly...and I broke my ankle tripping over her. XD She's about a year and a half old, and I've had her since May.
My crabby corgi, Loki:

He turned 6 last month, and herds stuffed animals (and sometimes Dinah) for a living.
I also have a rabbit, a six month-old black Holland Lop by the name of Ivanhoe, and two bettas (Mircea and Mihnea). No pictures, though, as I need a new USB cord for my camera. The old one went walking.

oh! fun! i like sharing. 8D
but real quick: cute devon rexes. ;; and i love your snake, jaeger. she's beautiful. <3 i've wanted rats and snakes forever but my dad's afraid of them so i can't have any so long as i live at home.
the family golden retriever, but she's more mine than anything now. her name is austin and she's purebred, even though she doesn't look it. she has papers and was from a homebreeder, we met the parents, she just never got her full coat in. we bred her once, and all her babies had the long hair. so who knows? she'll turn 14 on may 2.
these are my cats. the first is really sort of my mom's cat because we got him when i was six so... yeah. he had to survive the whole 'doll clothes on kitties!' stage, but i think he likes me better now because i buy him wet food and move things for him. he's 14, probably closer to 15 now and one of his back legs clicks so i think he has arthritis. one of his teeth is hollow and decayed, too, but we're scared of having to put him under for the surgery so we buy him wet food for now. his name is phantom and riley is the all black kitty. i thought he was a girl when i got him, but yeah, he's not. he's huge too at 20lbs and probably heavier now as he seems to have gotten pudgy. i had to switch them to light food, hehe. riley is about 6. i got him when i was a sophomore in high school as a going away present from my dad who was going to saudi arabia for a year (this was about eight months before operation freedom, so he was only 'in danger' for about half the year he was gone. his base was bombed and stuff, long story). he's my baby and the biggest brat in the world. he eats chips with me, especially cheetos and doritos, but his favorite thing is kraft singles. ;D
aaannndd balto. our newest addition. he is a red-merle miniature australian shepherd with two blue eyes. he turned five months old today and he is a terror. i don't have any recent photos of him that i've taken, but this was taken from my mom's flickr account. he was her birthday present. we're going to breed him and i get to pick out the female sometime after christmas... or whenever the breeder we want posts a new litter that isn't related to him.
there he is during his first bath. X) in september, i think. he was only about 8 weeks old and had messed all over himself in his crate. silly puppy.
but yeah, you can see more pictures of mah bebehs in my flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tuesdai . 8D

Eeee I must show off my babyyy~ This is Sheba, my 5 yr. old SBT leopard Bengal She's a bum. She loves water, climbing EVERYTHING to be as high as possible, lap-hugging and she talks/meows at you... constantly. Even while she eats. She's like a gossiping hairstylist. She also fetches, walks on a leash and wags her tail when she's happy. heart

Okay, now I HAVE to show a timeline of my baby Xiuli. :C
Xiuli is a motley amenalistic/motley butter cross corn snake, and is currently about 2 1/2 years old. I can't remember how long she is now, I think the last time I measured her shed skin it went a little over 20 inches.

This is the photo of when she was a tiny tiny neonite at about two weeks old, taken by the breeder himself. She was thinner than the thickness of my pinky, and could barely wrap around my wrist, very weekly.

Xi a little over a year, as an excellent bracelet for my stubby little hands.

Same day as the photo above, only a gorgeous close up of her face. It really represents her color well.

And the most recent photo, slithering around her new driftwood. She certainly loves it, she comes out more at night and likes to coil herself around and around until she grows tired and goes back to her warm hidy box.
I love snakes, and I didn't think I'd get another one after Xi, but I'm starting to think that once I have my own house I may have to invest in a jungle carpet python or a boa of some kind [i've always admired them from afar]. My boyfriend has a ball python named Wilson, rescued from an apartment neighbor of our friends' who had died and kept him in a large, empty tank that reeked of cigar.
I would also like to have a few parrotlets [once we get rid of all the teflan ware..], a cat, and a couple of dogs. We've been looking at the siberian cat because it's apparently hyperallergenic, and my poor boy is allergic to cats [D: D: D:]. As far as dogs go, I'd love to have another german shepherd [our family had one when I was a child], and I believe he wants a pug. Not sure how it's going to work out with all of the animals, but...yes. Definitely need a house XD [especially when he's a marine bio major and has lots and lots and lots of fish]. I can't wait to get out of the apartment!
