This character was one of the main reasons I began to watch SMALLVILLE I found him to be just such an awesome and interesting character in the show.
He was very stand out and he even got into a few fights I knew he had to die later on in Clark's life but couldn't they have waited untill the last season to kill him off?!! emo
Stupid Clark had to change time by saving Lana he risked Jonathan's life instead.
Oh well, I just wanted to start this thread to see how many people out here liked Jonathan. I wanted to see if there were others out here either then me that liked him anyways.
So Jonathan Kent fans speak up what was your favorite Jonathan Kent moment in the show before he died?...

Yes I'm aware of that I couldn't stand him when he was younger though, I prefered him when he got older I think thats why I liked smallville.
He was just awesome as Jonathan Kent I cried so hard when I saw him die like that in smallville.

well since John Schneider is no longer on the show he technically has n reason to be there. I mean it could just be that he didn't want to come back or he was working on another project.

Awwwwwww, I still would have liked to have seen him in smallville.
It's just... Not the same without him in there anymore he was basically like a mentor showing Clark what he should do with his powers.
Poor poor Jonathan Kent he seemed to vanish in thin air to the fans no one else I know mentions him anymore.

yeah it does suck. But look at the positive aspects: now Chloe is playing more of an important role with trying to help Clark adjust to life. But Jonathon is a very missed character, but so was Pete.

True, that is a possitive side of Jonathan not being in the show anymore.
More Chloe scenes!!! xd I did cry myself at the finall episode of season 3 when Pete left that was such a sad scene, Pete was so loyal to Clark and that showed Clark had true friends who he could trust with his secret neither Pete nor Chloe told it to anyone.
Jonathan Kent was just... Simply amazing he really stood out in the show and atleast he's one of the reasons as to why Clark Kent is the way he is today I suppose.
Anyways I found this music video online dedicated to Jonathan Kent on youtube and I am just in love with it, the song really fits his character it's almost like it was written for him.
