+--Holiday Item Contest --+
+--Since I completely missed this until I went to the GCD, I thought I would share it with you guys. Once again, they made a design your own item contest, and we get to vote what comes! This time the theme is holidays! Just thought I'd let you guys into the loop.--+

whoops, hate to say this, but you must have missed an announcement. They let us know in one of the updates a while back that they were doing this.
HOWEVER, we can still talk about it if everyone wants to.

Vincente whoops, hate to say this, but you must have missed an announcement. They let us know in one of the updates a while back that they were doing this. HOWEVER, we can still talk about it if everyone wants to. Ummm.... I want to. The contest was announced a long time ago, but as far as I know, there hasn't even been an announcement telling us voting is open... So I'd call this relevant. Anyway, I like a few of the items. Mainly the scarf, hat, and ice block. The hat got my vote, though. What a tasty OMG rip off. XD The skates have me SERIOUSLY pissed, though. We've been asking for rollerblades for years, and they were always like "No can do, no space underneath the avatar." But somehow ICE skates are doable?

I didn't like any of them... they all seem like Christmas event items to me, nothing totally special or unique. But if I had to vote, I'd go for the igloo hat.

Aznburninator I didn't like any of them... they all seem like Christmas event items to me, nothing totally special or unique. But if I had to vote, I'd go for the igloo hat. +--Not necessarily. They're "holiday" items. Nothing directly links to Christmas except the barbles in the hair thing. After that, they're winter themed. So, they sort of had to fit the category.
At Vince: I didn't realize the voting was open. I saw another big design contest a little while back, but didn't get notice of being able to vote.--+

I agree with Azn- they seem more like event items than store items. I'd love it if some of these items came out as carol gifts this year though. 3nodding

They all suck horribly in my opinion... then again I don't really care for holiday specific items... The headband thingy with the ball fingies got my vote... for being the only thing that looked wearable w/o it being noticiably christmassy

I can't say I really found myself digging anything on that list too harshly.
The hoodie got my meager ballot, but in retrospect, perhaps I should have spoiled my vote on those horrendous ornaments for the hair.
They just wouldn't work with my hair, kids.
