Tribe Story and Beliefs
The Beliefs
The Kinkou Tribe is a Tribe based on balance like I said on the past page. The believe that balance is a key figure, one that keeps the world from going into an era of chaos. Examples are nice foxes and mean foxes, black and white, good and evil, light and dark, etc.
The Story
Once long ago, there was a fox by the name of Kou. He was a quiet and peaceful fox that didn't have any particular likings, knowing that one couldn't have something without the opposite to balance it out. He also knew that he had the right to like things, but chose to be plain.
One day, he ran into may different tribes, each with their own beliefs. Kou knew that those things had an opposite, but he chose not to say anything. Later that day, he decided to make a tribe of his own following the laws of balance. After gaining followers, the tribe was set and made it through a few years.
One day though, there was a war waged against the tribe. It was completely unexpected and the tribe was brutally massacred. Unprepared, the kits were taken into the nearest hollow by the Carers. One of the kits, Kou's daughter, made it through a tiny crack in a wall and into a secret chamber that no one else could reach with another BCR that was her little sister. Once everything was clear, the kit came out with the BCR. Everyone else in sight was dead. She didn't know if there were any survivors, but she vowed to follow her father's footsteps and start her tribe again.

Ranks
Elder: Able to receive messages from the Gods through dreams. Makes the decisions for the tribe and also very experienced in a Shaman's work, a Hunter's work, a Gatherer's work, and a Scout's Work.
Shaman: Foxes that take care of the sick and injures. They also can read the stars and moon and can occasionally also communicate with the Gods through dreams like the Elder.
Hunter: Hunt animals for food.
Gatherer: Basically like the little "Yes Foxes" for the Shaman and Hunters, not slaves, just like helpers. They gather herbs with the shaman and gather the kills with the hunter. They also gather fruits and vegetables for food.
Scout: Scout and patrol the tribe borders. They also serve as messengers to give messages to ally tribe and also alert ally tribes if the Kinkou Tribe is in trouble. They can also alert the hunters when the herds of large animals come in, though the Shaman's would already know that by reading the skies.
Carers: They take care of the precious kits who are the future of the tribe. They are responsible for them unless the kits are in a training session for a job. They also take the blame if the kits are lost, though the punishment isn't severe unless they kits are never found or found dead.
Tribe Members: You have no specific job. You help out anyone who needs it when they need it.

Yami laid curled up in a ball atop a rock in the center of a field of grass. Her eyes were shut, her ears listening to the sounds of nature. The birds chirping, singing their beautiful songs. The dry autumn leaves rustling in the wind, occasionally falling to the ground. She could even hear the roar of the nearby waterfall. She had never thought she'd ever return to this land, but oddly, she felt compelled to. As if some force had her tied here, drawing her closer everyday since she left. Some force asking her to revive the life in this peaceful land. She bit her lip with the thought. She wondered if anyone else would somehow wander here. Maybe they would, if luck was with her.

Nozomi jumped upon her sleeping sister, shouting in her ear, "MORNING, SISSY!" She giggled and jumped off, her tail wagging behind her.
"What're we gonna do today, YaYa? I'm bored! Will you show me how to hunt? Or something, pleeeeease!" She begged, hopping back on her sister's back. She paused. "Do you think someone will come today?" She asked, softly now. Everyday, she prayed to whatever Higher Being was up there that someone would mozy along their way.

One of Yami's eyes opened and rolled back to meet her sister's gray ones. She laughed a little and then opened her other eye. "Fine," She replied and raised her head, yawning. "What do you want to do today, Nozomi? Learn about the Shaman's job? Or maybe do a little scouting to see if there are any others here?"
