Seeing as literature is art I want to discuss what possible reason JK Rowling decided Dumbledore was gay? Where in the entire series did he even hint to crying to Liza while eating Peek Freans?

Nowhere in the series does Dumbledore state any kind of sexuality. I personally thought he had something for Mcgonnagol.

Then why did Rowling just decide to say he's gay?

Because she's the author, and is also incredibly liberal, so by the popularity of hippie liberals it's cool to be gay whether you actually are or not.

Does it really matter? Okay. Its a book. The writer makes a person gay in the book. Is that really going to make everything bad? Are you against people being gay or something?

Whatever.

I'm sorry but I think HP is to overrated and brain numbing to read or watch the movies anyway. talk2hand

Possibly in an attempt to steal the limelight from an author who's going through a serious illness that will slowly destroy his mind, an author who is a much better writer and who has brought smiles to the faces of billions of people over his illustrious career.

Alot of people think that, but personally i don't know what. Mcgonnagall never hinted anything to the sor, and When he talks about grindelwald. It's just, like, hey, it's obvious he's gay. because "grindelwald's words inflamed me" and all of that stuff, it justs seems so obvious. I think he liked harry at the end of deathly hallows (my opinion) but yeah. It's kind of weird.

JK Rowling never said it in the books, rather she just had it in mind that she wanted Dubledore to be gay. She would write notes to the editors about it, so they would keep it in mind. But yeah she intended for him to be gay from the start.

Yes it does matter. Not only is witchcraft ungodly, but being gay is completely amoral and should not be encouraged. I fear this series is dangerous and will corrupt what possibly might be the most impressionable generation of youth yet.
