Hey! I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with it or not, but DeviantArts more recent "thing" is the "Shout it Out" project. Originally just one piece of artwork by Liliy, it was then done by some of her friends and has since spread like wildfire throughout much of the DA community. I thought it was an interesting, so I wanted to share with you to see if any of you would be interested, or concider doing it yourself! The original deviant can be found here: Shout it Out
And since a lot of people are probably... too lazy to click it, hopefully posting it will get some peoples interests!
With the description: "Every word is true.
Someone told me once, that she believed we make life hard for ourselves by keeping things bottled up inside. Whether it be due to shame, embarrassment, fear, pride or some other emotion we don't share the things that are on our hearts like we should. We wallow in them and never realize that everyone else feels the same way. Our conflicts, our dreams, and the things that make us who we are should be free to be spoken out loud.
I'll be honest, these are things I'm more than happy to get off my chest and seeing them on paper is something nice."
Going to the actual deviation and hitting Download will give you a larger view so the smaller text can be read.
So, theres now a journal telling all about it.
So, what do you guys think of something like this? Would any of you concider doing it for yourselves? Have you already? Would you share it, if you did?
I don't know, do you guys like it when I post random stuff like this? Maybe I should do it more often(or you can, silly) to invoke activity/discussion. Or... inspirattiooooooonn~ P:

I'm pretty straightforward all the time. Which is why most people hate me. I say the most outlandish things and things people are too afraid to say. Not that anyone is afraid to say this, but I hate that picture.

I think I also have a tendancy to be more open on the net. But that will probably change once I'm out of high school, because high school can be such a petty judgemental time, and people will say things about you over the stupidest stuff. So I guess its just easier to be more open to people I probably won't ever be around. Its weird.
Out of curiosity, why don't you like the picture? Is it the concept, or this piece of art itself? or something else? smile

I think in highschool expressing yourself is most important. When I was in highschool i was friends with who ever i wanted, I stuck up for nerds because they were my friends and not because it was cool. I made people suffer because it brought me joy. I still don't care how people view me....Its important in life and AS AN ARTIST...to remain individuals. I think the concept is great really and how its helping others. I'm all for it really. I just don't like what the artist feels he/she or both needs to vent out. Just my opinion not liking the artists personal shout. I don't mean to bring any of you guys down sorry if i did.
