Okay, who else here can't wait for next-next Friday? DD:
Unfortunately YouTube and Veoh have gone OHSHIT and taken it off, so I have to make do with what I remember about the episode. SIGH.
Okay. CREEPY EPISODE, EHHHH? The first time I watched it I was home alone and it was dark and I got scared. xD;
Bloodbending. WOW. How more fanficcy can you get? I LOVE-BEND~ xDD Bloodbending is very cool, though, I'm wondering how they're going to implement it later on. They wouldn't have dedicated an entire episode to it if it wasn't going to be a pivotal ability.
KANA KANA KANA KANA KANA. biggrin DDDDD Anyone else catch that? Of course you did. If not, you should be ASHAMED. She looks youngish, though, when exactly did she leave the North Pole? She had to be old enough to be engaged... She is SO gorgeous, though, isn't she? No wonder Pakku fell for her. Speaking of which, I DEMAND MORE PAKKANA.
Southern Water Tribe used to be niiiice. DAMN YOU, FIRE NATION. *fistshake*
We get a bit more of the wartime occurrences... the Waterbender prisons, y'know. It's neat. ^^
That story with Mimi... AHHHH, scared me. At my school, for the Writer's Club I'm in, we were encouraged to write a scary story, because the meeting was on the 30th. I was lazy and considering just using that story. xD
Sokka's shrill scary-story scream made me fall over laughing. Seriously. Right over.
STILL no ZuCrew. Kinda miss 'em, kinda don't. Well, we'll get a bit of them next week... it's quite a delicious bit actually. Creepy, then delicious. xDD
Am I the only one who thinks that 'Hama' is a blatantly Water Tribe name? I mean... sigh.
Sexy Sokka with his sexy hair. Rawwwwr. xDDDD It's been WAAAAAY too long since we've been Sokka with his hair down. Since, uh, Tales of Ba Sing Se, I believe... oh, wait, no, he had his hair down in The Beach. WHATEVER. xDD
Hmm... I can't remember much more specifics...
Old Man whatsisface. I want to say Ding. Anyways. Funny. For some reason he reminded me of Sokka. xDDD; Dunno why.
NOW, THE UPDATE ON THE TOKKA-TAANG WAR! No significant Tokka moments, sadly. A very slight Taang moment, with Aang helping Toph with the basket. A debatable Tokka moment, with Toph opening the box and blushing, but I'm chalking that more up to pride than Sokka.
So, yeah, creepy episode. I'm SO curious to see Katara bloodbending... I wonder what extreme she'll be pushed to. xD

Wasn't that creepy. Srsly. Overall the episode wasn't that creepy. But Hamma. Holy crap, creepiest character yet. Gotta love them crazy oldsters, huh?
Incredibly great episode, I mean holy cow! Pushing bending to whole new levels, though I believe certain members of this guild whom are no longer present had speculated with me in some of the older threads about bloodbending. I wish I could say I was totally and completely sure they'd include it, but I can't; in fact I doubted the makers would go to such an extreme.

I think it will be a pivitol ability <3 Katara will probably use it to freeze Ozai in battle and let aang like, beat him or something.
Of course, personally, I would use bloodbending to freeze Zuko so he couldn't fight back from my fangirliness <3

I can't stand scary things at all. Yeah, I kind of remember that, actually. You were like, "Haha, it's a kid's show, they wouldn't do that!" Yeah. -_-; Wonder how many complaints they'll be getting? OH NO YOU'RE CORRUPTING THE CHILDREN.

Yeah...I was evil and watched it early on watch-avatar.com...and just watched it again on Nick...lol.
Speaking of fanfics, there's a really good one called 'Bloodbender' on fanfiction.net. It's actually what made me watch the epis early.
I think what scared me more was the fact that I was getting myself freaked out already (because I was so excited to see the epis) that the door opening and the puppets falling out made me jump.... lol
But Hama was totally creepy...{shudders}.
And if you think about it, there's water everywhere, not just in blood. There's the xylem in flowers/plants, sweat, blood, tears, vomit (sorry, it's true), all parts of the body and it's excretions.... (I'm a biology/science major; I know what I'm talking about.)
Actually, there's even a little, tiny bit of water/moisture even in human hair. When it becomes dry, it's really brittle, breaks easy; so there's got to be something keeping it that way. You can also bring water out of the ground, too....
Oh, did anyone notice that the raids during Hama's time stranded the Fire Navy ship that Aang and Katara wandered in to in the first epis?! eek
And Toph's meteorite...she keeps it as an armband...i.e. she wears it all the time.... heart Total Tokka.... Oh, and "That's why you have me! Come on!"
I don't know if I'm just not looking for it, but I've never seen any Taang...at all....
But then there was Sokka's reaction to Toph's comment about the moon spirit.... "Compassion and...lunar goodness!" Great....
Oh...and speaking of Taang...the next epis kinda blows that out of the water...as well as Zutara.... (Kataang forever!)
Yeah...I caught the Kana thing.... That's a plot line to have fun with for sure!
And just in case anyone has problems with how much more powerful Katara was versus Hama....
Think about it...Hama's been in the Fire Nation for like 50 years or so...not a whole lot of fighting going on there...her Bloodbending doesn't take a whole lot of effort for a master on the full moon.
Katara, on the other hand, has spent the last few months in nearly constant battle, honing her skills and growing constantly. (Plus, having Yue on her side probably didn't hurt any - lol.)
And something else I thought of...Bloodbending is the second speciality Waterbending technique that's been shown. Earth has Metalbending; Fire has Lightning.... Dunno what Air has.... I wonder what else has yet to be revealed.... xd
I think that was all I was going to say....

I think Katara learning bloodbending was actually a good idea! I mean, it itself is not good or evil. It's in how one uses it and you don't automatically have to harm/kill someone or something by using it. It could definately be useful in defeating the Fire Nation.

So let me ask this: can she use it without the night being a full moon or not? Would she really use it at all? I mean look at her at the end of the episode, she didn't really want to learn it, yet...Hama was just fricken crazy...
Back to what YoukaiLuvr said, I think there probably won't be a second ability for Air...I mean, it's versatile as it already is...Aang could probably already make a tornado no problem...
Would he learn the new bending styles by any chance? (Meaning metalbending, lighting bending, and blood bending...)

The old man explained that.

This episode made me want to be a waterbender. Seriously, you don't have to really hurt somebody... just make them do your bidding. Also works great if you want to be stealthy. Make your puppets knock out all of the gueards and then themselves. twisted

So awesome! blood bending? With this, she is now really a water master. I think this episode as made just so she had the option. she won't use it until a friends life is in extreme danger and she has to.

Previously, before I had watched this episode, I always wondered why there was no mention of bloodbending... xD It was driving me insane. And then finally, out of nowhere - OMG LOOKIE AT THIS COOL STUFF <333
But it's not as interesting as I'd have made it, really... ;O

Bloodbending isn't for people like Katara. Even though she's strong her heart isn't in battle. The only reason she's learned to fight is to help Aang, plus she's crying at the end of the episode. Imagine how horrible it would be to have that much power. I've been talking about how cool it would be, but think of how scared the people around you would become. You could control them, and they know it. And if you're cruel, you could rip the water from there body, and just kill them that way. Bloodbending should have been kept with Hama till she died. However, it will come in handy, but I don't see Katara using it willingly. She doesn't like it. So there's my two cents.
