So emo it hurts my eyesIt makes me equally angry that he has an avenged sevenfold cover of Walk on there. It's also funny at how ironic that is.

Also the song, Dimebag must be turning in his grave and Vinnie Paul and Phil Anselmo better be reconciling their differences to go s**t over Avenged.

You can't really complain about how shitty Sevenfold's version is when it's exactly the same as Pantera's.

Soviet Mudkipz there's just certain songs that certain bands just shouldn't cover, like KSE and holy diver. I thought it was a fun cover with an even funner video, but once again they hardly changed it so you can't slam it without slamming the original. Pantera just weren't that great to begin with *cough* wannabe glam rock *cough* so who cares what happens to their songs.

and i wasn't and haven't slammed it, it's just a song that band shouldn't cover, i heard at a point the vocals were different, i couldn't watch the video

Yeah, they were glam, a fact they desperately tried to hide (lulz)
But like everyone has already said, there are certain songs that just should not be covered.
By the way, I meant the irony of the meaning of the song and the kid who's profile it is on.

They were so embarrassed by this they deny their first three albums existance. Any song should be covered as long as it's entertaining. A7X's cover was a carbon copy of Pantera's original, so it was a bad cover. The Atari's Boys of Summer was an exact copy played faster so it too was a bad cover. Comadre's cover of Tiffany's I Think We're Alone Now was done in their own style making it a good cover. Unoriginal bands shouldn't be allowed to cover songs, not every band.

Guitar is tuned to low, the singers voice isn't as growly or glutteral as Phil's. The guitars are actually tuned the same and a different band having a singer that sounds different than the band being covered is expected. They're played the same.
