Ok, first off, this thread is not supposed to be a debate over whether the cash shop is great or is a scam. I just want this thread to be a discussion about items. So please, if you only came here to say, "Cash shop suxorz I hate you adminz!1!!" or, "This stupid shop will ruin the Gaian economy" Don't. Now, onto the discussion.
So I was fortunate enough the other day that when the cash shop glitched open, I was able to snag a Fausto's bottle, and my avi has been wearing it ever since. Every time I log onto Gaia, I'm staring at that bottle going " eek I think there's more smoke in the bottle. Wait! Is there something shadowy in there?"
xd The reality of it is, there's been no change at all. I'm so excited to see what it's going to turn out to be, that I'm staring at it all the time. lol So, what does the ATG think about the concept of evolving items? What other items might they come up with in the future that could evolve or change? Which of the current evolving items appeals to you the most?

Section 3- Current Evolving Items
(Note: As noted in the FAQ, when an evolving item gains new stages, it looses its previous stage. See the links above for more FAQ)
The current evolving items are:
Fausto's bottle (No Longer Available in Cash Shop) :
Description: Carry this bottle gingerly like your heart. It will be yours to keep, but you will soon learn that the love which lasts the longest is the love that is never requited. Never named is the unknown, since you can never see the end.
Animated Evolution (Note, animations show the progression of the item's transformation. Not all poses are displayed in animation. To see item poses in perfect correlation with their stages, consult the full section for that item):
Stage 1
Stage 1: Large glass bottle with greenish-bluish mist inside
Stage 2
Stage 2 Yearning: Large glass bottle with greenish-bluish mist issuing out of it
Stage 3
Stage 3 Release: Empty bottle on back. Greenish-bluish cloud with wings floating near avatar.
Stage 4
Stage 4 Genesis: Empty bottle on back. A bluish winged creature with purple hair. Possibly a winged horse?
Stage 5
Stage 5 Freedom: Empty bottle with sparkles around it. A small winged horse floats around your avatar.
Stage 6
Stage 6, other pose
Stage 6: Bottle on your back has a reddish glow in it. A large winged unicorn stands by your avatar (Both poses for unicorn available with or w/out bottle on back)
Stage 7
Stage 7 Descent: Bottle on your back is filled with an orange glow. Winged unicorn is looking pissed! (You can equip the bottle and Unicorn seperatley or together).
Stage 8
Stage 8 Apocalypse: O_O Is the bottle exploding? From behind it looks like there's one pissed off unicorn inside that explosion. From the front, your avatar gains a sweet pair of red wings.
FINAL STAGE
Stage 9 Omega (FINAL STAGE): Fausto's bottle is now an entirely b'dass winged sword. Awesome!
Tama's basket: (NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN CASH SHOP)
Description: A cuddly basket full of magic and wonder. What might grow within the nest of blankets? A committed caretaker may uncover its secrets in time...

Stage 3 Tama : Small raccoon-like creature with a blade of grass sits on your avatar's head, or by your side.

Stage 4 Final (FINAL STAGE): There's quite a few variations on this item's final stage. First it can be equipped as a larger raccoon-like creature holding a long blade of grass on your avatar's head, shoulders, or either side of your avatar. The other poses include a spear that appears to be made of bamboo, and a bamboo backdrop for your avi.
Green Corallus Egg: (NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN CASH SHOP)
Description: Nobody really knows what could hatch out of this green, scaly egg. Except for whatever's inside this green, scaly egg, of course.
Animated Evolution:
Stage 1
Stage 1 : Scaly green egg
Stage 2
Stage 2 Cracked : Scaly green egg with a snakelike creature emerging from it
Stage 3
Stage 3 Wrap: A small green snake drapes around your avatar's neck
Stage 4
Stage 4 Slither: A much larger green snake drapes over your avi.
Stage 5
Stage 5 Huggy: It appears the green corallus is giving your avatar a hug...^^;; Looks like a pretty lethal hug though!
Stage 6
Stage 6 Full (Final): In its final stage, the green corallus becomes a plumed helm and cape. The helm can be equipped by itself, and without the plume. The cape can also be equipped seperately.
Dandiidoodad Spore: (NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN CASH SHOP)
Description: A fuzzy, quiet, mischievous companion. It likes sunlight and reproduces via magical, bioluminescent spores. Not recommended for those sensitive to allergies.
Stage 1: Green pendant with wings. Can also glow with small glowing spores floating around the avatar.
Stage 2 Behind Ear and Clock: Large dandelion with spores comming off of it. Can be equipped in hand or on head.
Stage 3 Phase 3: The flower appears to be blooming and/or glowing!
Stage 4 Neophyte: A small green critter accompanies your avatar.
Stage 5 Zoophyte: A bigger, blobby version of Neophyte. Also, there's a pose that makes vines appear to sprout from your avatar.
Stage 6 Homunculus: A cute green critter that almost looks like a little person. Also, there's an option for more leaves and things to sprout from your avatar.
Pantheracorax Agate: (NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN CASH SHOP)
Description: Inside this colorful egg-shaped stone, something warm and alive is stirring.

Stage 2: Strange egg with a black beaklike something poking out

Stage 3: A blue creature that looks like a gryphon

Stage 6 (FINAL): The gryphon is now a mount, similar to the Wild Things MC. Also, the gryphon can be swapped for your avatar in case your character happens to be a were-gryphon or something. xp Additionally, there is a cloak and a cup that are also equipable in the Pantheracorax Agate's final form.
Pora Ice: (NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN CASH SHOP)
Description: This chilly little snowthing looks so cute its hard to believe its heart is made of ICE biggrin
Stage 1: A little ice creature that sits on your head
Stage 2: A cute white polar bear looking critter
((It equips to the back too, but tektek doesn't have back poses yet))
Stage 3: A cute polar bear with a white scarf
Stage 4: A larger polar bear with a scarf
Stage 5 (FINAL): A much larger polar bear, or a large blue sheild with a familiar red scarf.
Hermes Moon:
Description: If you're lucky enough to catch a full moon on the clearest of nights, legend speaks of a special visitor...
Stage 1: A mysterious moon that floats next to your avatar
Stage 2 Somniorum : A mysterious golden moon with a large crack and wings poking out of it.
Stage 3 Veris : A white fluffy creature seems to be emerging from the moon.
Stage 4 Aestatis : A cute white creature with gold wings for ears floats around your avatar (In the back pose, the moon has been patched)
Stage 5 Autumni and Autumni Sash (NEW): That cute little white critter looks like he's hard at work under a beautiful full moon. Your avatar dons a lovely gold sash. The sash can be equipped by itself.
Stage 6 Hiemalis Rabbit and Sash: The cute little bunny presents your avatar with a treat. Also, the sash now flows in a different style. Also, the rabbit can be equipped in your avatar's arms but tektek didn't have that pose. The rabbit and the gold sash can be equipped seperately or together.
Stage 7 Doloris: It appears as though the cuddly little bunny has presented your avatar with a snack of bunny shaped treats. The moon behind your avatar also appears as a crescent. Also, the golden sash looks even grander than before. The sash and the bunny critter can be equipped together or seperately.
Stage 8 Mortis: Wait...Mortis? O_o that sounds kinda cryptic. Anyhow, our little bunny friend appears to be snuggling with the moon up there, and your avatar is granted a beautiful golden scarf. The scarf can also be equipped by itself.
Stage 9 Spei, Rabbit, Usamimi, and Scarf: What the heck is going on with that bunny and the moon? In this stage, the bunny is glowing. You can also equip a bunny to hold. Included in this stage are a pair of green leafy things that look a bit like bunny ears, and the big gold scarf from the previous stage. Many of these can be equipped together or seperatley.
Stage 10 Temporis, Time, Golden Time, Wing, and Ougon Mimi (NEW): Let's do the Time Warp agaaaaaain! Or at least that's what it looks like. Our bunny friend is doing something strange that appears to relate to time. Gold or green/blue/purple bands can be equipped to your avatar, and the leaves that were green before are now gold. Also, this stage gives you the option of equipping a single golden wing to your avatar.
Orindae:
Description: This jar contains an unimpressive little egg that resembles a glob of snot. You're probably not feeling great about this investment, but then, more interesting things have come from less interesting places...
Stage 1: It's a jar with a green glob/egg in it.
Stage 2 Hatched: That green egg has hatched! Looks like a tadpole?
Stage 3 Busting out: O_o Whatever that green thing is, it looks kinda like it's suffocating or something. It's now much bigger and bursting from its jar.
Stage 4 Growing: This odd critter is bigger and blobbier than ever.
Stage 5 Still Growing: Woah, check out the massive toad...blob...huuuuuuudge? Kinda reminds me of The Hudge from a particular Strong Bad e-mail. Despite it's blobbiness, who can resist those bright blue eyes?
Stage 6 Oh sweet mother of-: Just when you thought the big guy couldn't get bigger. The Orindae now takes over your avatar entirely. One wonders...what could its next stage possibly hold?
Biancamella:
Description: A delicate little lidded bowl, filled with crystalline sugar. One can never tell what sweet things will come from it...
Stage 1: A pink and white sugar bowl
Stage 2 Warm Glow and Sugar Stole: A shining sugar bowl, or a sweet looking stole
Stage 3 Embroidered Stockings or Dissolve: Can be equipped as either a pair of stockings, or a swirl of gold and white that surrounds your avatar.
Stage 4 Parasol, Materialize, and Pull: This item now appears to be a lovely parasol. It can also be equipped as "Materialize" (The pink glowing dot) or "Pull" (The gold and white swirls). "Pull" and "Materialized" can also be equipped together)
Stage 5 Carmelize, Cameo Brooch, Floating, Long Sleeve Bolero, Puff Sleeve Bolero : This stage contains even more lovely accessories. There's a swirl of golden ribbons, a floating pink glow, a puffy sleeved jacket, and even a brooch. The Bolero can be equipped with or without the sleeves on the arms. Carmelize and Floating can be equipped together or seperatley.
Stage 6 FINAL: Biancamella's final stage includes several lovely pink accessories. There's a dress and a top that can be equipped together or seperatley. There's a hair comb, cotton candy, a large pink disc, a sugary sweet fairy/sprite, two different styles of pink hair! Though probably the most popular feature of the completed Biancamella is the pair of pink and gold wings that can be equiped to your avatar's back. Many of these items can be equipped together or seperatley.
The Experiment:
Description: You'll learn your lesson soon enough - trying to create life out of the old things in the back of the fridge is a recipe for things going horribly, horribly wrong.
Stage 1: A beaker of nasty-looking green goo
Stage 2: O_O What's going on in that beaker?
Stage 3: Based on this stage, many are predicting that a tenticle monster may burst from the beaker. Run school girls, run!
Stage 4 (NEW): Tenticles and eyeballs pretty much sum up The Experiment's newest stage.
White Drome Egg:
Description: An egg fabricated from scraps of ancient DNA by the scientists at G-Corp. They made you sign a waiver before you took it home, absolving them of responsibility for any eaten pets or family members.
Stage 1: A white egg strapped to your back. There are a few feathers on it too.
Stage 2: Something's comming out of that egg!
Stage 3: At first glance it looks like a very weird sort of bird. However, this is most likely a baby velociraptor.
Stage 4: The velociraptor is bigger and full of energy.
Stage 5: The raptor is bigger and now comes with 30% more battle damage. You can now ride the raptor...or get mauled by it. Your choice. biggrin
Alruna's Rose:
Description: A mischievous spirit lives in this black rose, eager to feed off of its owner's body and soul.
Stage 1: A black rose with a red stem...that's radiating darkness?
Stage 2 Blooming: It looks even more sinister than before! Must be something good inside.
Stage 3 Dark Birth : A bat now emerges from the center of the rose...accompanied by blood? And...purple flames? I'm not the only one who thinks it looks like a bat bursting out of a crotch right?
Stage 4 Bat: The rose has become a cute fluffy bat who will hang out on your avatar in a variety of poses.
Stage 5 Nymp (NEW): The bat looks a bit less sweet than before. It also seems to be playing some tricks on your avatar...like running off with your undies! This stage also includes a pose with the bat on your avatar's chest.
Dionaesil
Description: Who knows what lives in this seemingly ordinary pot? The door is open to all sorts of possibilities.
Stage 1: A strange potted plant.
Stage 2: The plant appears to be growing. This stage includes a sprout that can spring from your avatar's head.
