I've heard a lot of speculation about it, but I'm unsure where to start for good information on the theories.
Basically, the idea is that we were created by aliens. Some people believe that they are kind of watching over us as if you might a child, and other people think that the aliens are really just using us for some big science experiment.
When you think about it, the idea is a little scary. sweatdrop It's easy to take for granted our beliefs that we were created by a benevolent God (or gods, or goddess, or goddesses).
What do you think? Possible? Freaky? Depressing? Complete bullshit?

It's a pretty common theory really. I mean look at some of the gods and monsters we've come up with. I know word of mouth isn't a good record but them much have really had some weird ideas to come up with some of them.
This sort of links in with the idea that Aliens help build some of our oldest buildings and landmarks.

i think that if we were being watched over by them then thye would be monitering us more carefully. sorry, but i really just dont believe that. i have heard of that before

As more natural impulses like fear were overridden by intellect, the humans went "hey, y'know what? Next time one of those aliens that whips us comes down, let's gang up and kill it." Mind, this wasn't a complete revolution so much as a shock to the system. The masters will be back after mankind's taken up a life of security and ignorance...

Remember this, Science can't explain exactly where all the water comes from on the Earth. I've heard theories that it was brought in by icy comets. If our water is alien, why couldn't we be alien too?

What do you think? Possible? Freaky? Depressing? Complete bullshit? It's definitely possible. I mean, every culture is said to have been created by "the gods of the air". I mean, gods that come from the air in "Flaming chariots, flying wheels, dragons", etc. Are they ambassadors and emissaries of God? That idea's been out there. Do some research on the Ancient Astronaut theory.

I don't see why not. As I understand it, there are several sections of our DNA that just appear at a certain point in our development, and were not inherited from lower primates. That suggests genetic tinkering to me.
