This thread is for explaining what you want to do with your life. Career, family, travel, etc.
I'll go ahead and start. mrgreen
I want to become a wonderful pastry artist/cake decorator. I have already taken a Wilton cake class, and thats how I got hooked. I do plan on going to college, and that will hopefully be next year. I will be going to Western Culinary Institute, and I will be getting the associates for occupational studies for pastry and bakery. I am looking forward to it, because I have to do extern ships as part of the curriculum, and I talked to a student (I was interviewing them and asking how the classes were) who was taking that course, and her extern ship was in Italy.
As for domestic life, I plan to get ferrets and cats, and that will be the extent of it. I don't plan on getting married or having kids.

I would love to decorate cakes...I know I have to go train for it...I'm unable to do that right now but someday, hopefully!
I want to get married and have children. I'd like to write children's books for a living. I'd like to move back up into the country and get away from traffic, crowds, etc.
But no matter what I do, I want to be happy. heart

citrimax I would love to decorate cakes...I know I have to go train for it...I'm unable to do that right now but someday, hopefully! I want to get married and have children. I'd like to write children's books for a living. I'd like to move back up into the country and get away from traffic, crowds, etc. But no matter what I do, I want to be happy. heart You're not alone in your plans xd I'm quite sure I will be famous someday and I'd like to be known for writing books, hopefully children's books with illustrations. I'd love to learn how to decorate cakes but I have to finish my studies first.

I want to be a first grade teacher and teach reading, or I want to teach cooking as a high school teacher smile . I also want to get married and have kids heart .

Undecided. But there are somethings I been thinking.
Character designer.
Clothing designer.
Voice actress
Open a cafe or candy store. Now that I think of it a candy shop sounds interesting sweatdrop . That would be great! To have a store open and sell all kinds of unique candies.

I'll be writing novels part-time. I don't know what my main job will be yet. I was thinking something along the lines of sound-effects for cartoon studios (i know someone in the business and it seems fun) But i love to write, and so i will be writing. I regret to say that i'm not the best writer ever...i mean, i'm okay. but i love doing it, and after a few published books i'll see if i still love it or if i'm going too crazy.
But, the cake decorating sounds cool. i would try it, but my art skills are really bad. i can't draw anything but circles and stick people. athough, i might give it a shot. i love cake. heart heart heart

Personally I'd like a wedding cake buisiness! I think I'm gonna do an apprenticeship in a bakery somewhere as well as finish High school!

actually this is a bit off topic but what baffles me is how people actually get jobs testing the taste of food anyway confused

For example, they could tell if you put a drop of mint flavoring in their milk, and they could tell if it was peppermint or spearmint.

Oh I geuss like with myself and cake I can always tell what ingredients went in... freaky... I think everyone here would give for a job like that though tasting cakes and chocolate! *rubs my tummy* I wish I wasn't on a diet!
