Fall. A beautiful time of year. The trees were turning their normal shades or orange, red, and brown. Though, it also meant that cold weather was just around the corner. Though, snow was great, yet very cold for her. The young mare smiled as she slowly made her way through a rather opened field. her long mane blew gently with the breeze as she went. Already the air had began to turn cold.
She could see her breath each time she let out the air from her lungs. It was a rather quiet day. Only the noise of distant trees swaying back and forth, a bit of noise from the grass as well. But she could mostly hear her hooves as she took each step. She wasn't like every soquili. No, she had a dress, much like a human would wear. It also made noise with each passing bit of breeze. Along with her two long bows in her mane right under her ears. But those were mostly silent from getting tangled with in her long mane. Her long brown tail dragged upon the surface of the grass, dragging along with hit bits of leaves that had already started to fall.
The mare's skin also resembled something of a human. Light and peach. Though, she did have fur, it was just the same color as her skin underneath it. She could be mistake as a horse that was once a Human but turned into a horse. The color of her eyes were a icy color, yet warmth and kindness came from them.

It was times like these that Edward was glad for his clothing. His dark red coat, the color of blood, protected him from the small gusts of wind that blew threw the field he was crossing through. Yes, I am very glad. He was not considered normal compared with other Soquili. His clothes were what set him apart form the others. He shook his head, causing his braid to move from one shoulder to the other. His mane was the color of the sun, and his eyes a piercing gold. His coat was pale, which was unlike a lot of other Soquili he had met. So he was a little different. But hey, at least he wouldn’t be the one to freeze. He had a coat! That brought out a smirk. Another gust of wind blew around him, and he heard his coat flap, the edges hitting the back of his legs.

Tohru had been day dreaming again as she walked, making her look rather stupid. She also didn't realize that she had kind of stopped walking and was just staring off into space. It was just one of those type of days that was so relaxing, you didn't know what to expect. She shook her head finally braking from her day dream to just barely notice she wasn't alone in the field she just found herself in.
She hadn't realized where she was at first. "huh?" She said to herself. She should really stop day dreaming when walking. She might end up actually hurting herself. She giggled, and then looked to the other that seemed to have not noticed her either. "Oh! Hello!" She said rather cheerful. If she was a human, she would be waving towards him.

He would have never noticed her. It had been silent for a while, and so when he actually heard something he jumped. A loud hello had startled him. Looking in the direction that the voice had come from, he stopped his long trek across the field. A Soquili was coming towards him, with something blue on. Was she wearing clothes? She was smiling, and he was sure that if she could, she would probably be waving enthusiastically. “What do you want?” He asked as she got closer.

It wasn't exactly the answer she was expecting, but it wasn't an answer she wasn't use to either. She continued to smile. "Oh! I just saw you and thought I'd say hello!" she said happily as she was close enough to talk with out yelling. He didn't seem too happy to see her. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, Yes, that was it. "And it looks like you could use some company!" she said with closing her eyes and smiling at him.
She was use to seeing other horses with clothing, it was when they had no clothing that she was puzzled. Though, she hadn't ran into many except those she lived with. They all had clothing.

He blinked at her odd behavior. Was it normal for anyone to be that happy about, well, anything? “Uh, thanks, but I am fine. You can go about your business.” He gave her one last odd look, before he started walking away. She was different. And the first Soquili that wore clothes like himself. Very peculiar, that one was. She wasn’t that surprised by his clothing. Did she know others that wore clothes? Thinking of all these questions made him want to ask her. How annoying.

(( xD;; Can't think of anything to keep talking to him owo Excuse if it's out of her character. ))
She blinked for a moment and just started following him a bit. "I'm Tohru" She said. It was odd that he seemed so grumpy. But she knew someone else like that. "Are you sure?" She asked him. Her long tail still continued to drag leaves within it. "I'm not really doing anything, so it's not a problem." She said thinking about the aimless wondering she had been doing before she even realized she was doing it.

~Tis okay, sorry if he seems out of character already xD~
He looked over his shoulder to see her following him. “It’s nice to meet you Tohru.” He stopped and considered her for a moment. Why did she want to keep him company? His life wasn’t that interesting. He sighed and gave in. “Do what you want. I won’t stop you.” He walked ahead, starting to wonder if she was going to follow him or not.

Tohru blinked and gave him a smile. At least he had stopped. "Oh! Don't you just like talking to people?" She flicked her long tail trying to get the leaves out of it. "I mean it's nice to talk to other's once in a while." She gave him another kind smile and shook her long mane to straighten bits that had gotten tangled from the wind.

He raised a brow. Really, was it normal for any one to be this perky and happy? “I do okay without having to talk to anyone. I never meet anyone to talk to.” Did he fail to mention that he wasn’t as sociable as he could be? Probably not. When he did talk to others, it was usually in a way that they did not like. But really, who needed to talk to everyone they see?

She smiled back at him. Still not really paying attention much to his rude attitude, or the fact that he'd probably prefer not to talk to her at all. "Oh! Well isn't it nice to meet others? I mean, I only know the ones I live with, it's nice meeting someone outside of them." She nodded. "Certainly you talk to some when you meet them. Even if only for a moment."

He raised a brow at her. “I suppose I might say hi, but I never get into long conversations with them.” She was following him still, and she was obviously very optimistic. One of those Soquili that saw the glass half full.

Her smile continued as she listened to him talk. Though, it wasn't that long. She flicked her tail again. "You've never been curious about another?" It wasn't too strange to hear. She knew she wanted to know about everyone that would let her.

He tilted his head in thought, trying to remember a time when he was actually interested in someone else. “I suppose I was at some point. Why does it really matter?” The problem was he couldn’t quite remember when. He sighed, what was it with all the odd questions?

"Friends are important." She said with a smile. "To care for another, and have them care for you is what can help you get by in hard times." Well, that's what she believed anyways. She flicked her tail again, still having leaves stuck in it from not paying attention before.
