After pissing someone off in the GD today about meat and how much I enjoy traversing the woodland realm with a gun for meat collection, I wondered if anyone else in this guild hunted besides myself.
It's quite an enjoyable sport. Yes, sport. Nothing more satisfying than providing your family with meat that you harvested yourself. It's a thrill, especially when you're out deer hunting. I never waste what I shoot unless it's a opossum or skunk or some nasty critter like that.
Any of you guys hunt or have any desire to start hunting in the future?

My brother really enjoys it. He lived with people who took him hunting when we were kids so yar.
I grew up with my grandpa so I never got into it.

I was raised in hunting family. My dad, my uncles and my brothers hunt.
Listening to drunk uncle bullshit hunting stories is good times.

I'm vegetarian, which I realize is totally not metal at all.
I don't have anything against people who eat meat, though. Unless they're hypocrites about it. Like, I hate hunters who are pro-life on the abortion issue. That makes no sense to me.

But yeah, I don't mind vegetarians as long as they aren't PETA supporters. I hate that s**t and the people that involve themselves with it really need to educate themselves. Hunting is in no way animal abuse.

Seriously. I hate them. They try and recruit emo teenagers to be vegetarian by saying that shitty emo guitarists are vegetarian and omg, you'll be cool if you don't eat meat. D: Plus the whole being-extreme-lying-hypocrites-and-killing-animals thing.
