[You reach the entrance of the realm Harlow. The setting slowly changes to that of a prairie, all around you is flat grass land. In the distance, you think you see a town. As you get closer, the town still in the distance, you were confronted by guards. Showing your travelers badge, one of the guards leads you to the town. A beautiful castle lies in the center, on a hill, with the entire town surrounded by a tall stone wall. Instead of being led to the gates, the guard points to a small building on the outside of town. Heading to the small building you hear soft music playing from a record player. You open the door and look inside. It was built like a training ground; designed for the shop owner to practice fighting. You can see marks of blade strikes along the walls, tables chairs and targets that were now pushed aside. This is where you meet the owner. She was sitting at the left of the room, in a big poofy chair with her legs up against the headrest using the footstool to rest her head.] Tapping her feet to the music she suddenly saw that the door was open and quickly scrambled to stand. Sheepishly she waved and spoke."Hi there! Welcome to Harlow! My name is Bethany and this is Sazu." She waved an arm towards a sleeping tiger cub on a giant pillow off to the corner of the room. In response Sazu rolled to his back and stretched still in a blissful kitty sleep. Unperturbed Bethany continued. "For all you first time travelers to this fair city here is a pamphlet that will help you enjoy your visit. Please note the city map on the back with the key places already marked. Right now you are in our country's capital, Eastholt. If you are looking for a specific town, we sell maps at three coin each."[The girl looked 19 at best, but had the air of a warrior. She was given this job as Job hut owner for a reason after all. The pamphlet you were handed had a picture of their castle on the cover. Opening the pamphlet you read: Harlow follows a monarchy, best keep that in mind during your travels. The king's guards are stationed at every town, even the smallest, to ensure the rules are followed. Due to the current laws in place, to enter other villages you must gain a mark on your card. Please see our representative Bethany Links at our local job hut to be allowed into other towns. There are some races not welcomed, please do not take offense, it is just part of the laws. The capital will provide you all your needs so long as you stay respectful and civil.]"Well with this out of the way, what can I help you with?" Bethany asked stretching as she turned down her music to be able to hear you better. {S=Story, O=Other, P= Players} Common races seen: Humans. At war with: Trolls, Dwarves and Lizardfolk. Land layout: Flat lands/prairie/some swamp. Main source of income: Fishing and farming primarily. Other information: Though there are many towns, villages etc... they are sparsely populated and often very far from one another. Even though they have a king, the Dark Ruler is in charge. Capital: Eastholt

"If you are here for jobs, you've come to the right place." She said pointing to your right.[To the right side of the room you see a huge message board which holds the jobs for this realm, some specifically for this town alone. Each flier has a different level on it. Depending on the level you choose, you get a different reaction.]"I will need to see your adventure card if you want to choose a more challenging job."{jobs} Any lvl char can take these jobs. You must be {} or higher to read further. "Hey cool, looks like you are able to handle these. Good luck!"{jobs} You must be above level {still choosing} to take these jobs. "Ah it looks like your card cleared to this level. Feel free to pick the job that catches your eye and be safe."{jobs} Note must be lvl {} or higher to take jobs from here. "Wow looks like you made it to this level. Take care still, never be ashamed of asking for help."{jobs} Congrats on making it to lvl {} have fun as you get closer to being immortal! "If you made it this far, you must not worry about many dangers any more. Lucky you. I am honored to meet such a traveler. Have fun with these challenges, hope it is enough of a fight for you."{jobs}

[You walk into the building and see the inside dressed up to be comforting. Warm even. There is a stone staircase leading up behind the woman standing at the desk.]She gives a soft smile and replies,"Welcome! Please rest your weary bones. It costs 30 coin to spend the night for a single room. We have a bar, a place to eat, and a lounge area. Feel free to order food and or drinks, I am told we have the best roast in all of Harlow. One thing you should keep in mind is you may find a few people in these rooms who have small jobs for you or things to sell. Just be sure to be respectful to our guests.” She had a few rooms available, would you like to stay?[You get a +1 to all stats for 20 turns, if you spend the night. The visitors change at random, so make sure you finish the job in good time, or simply go to the job hut and take a job from there.]

[You follow the map of the town and make your way to the shop. There were three desks, each with a wall of items behind them, and each with a person sitting between the two. The first desk was for the basics, followed by the weapons, and the armor. All the items were on display, with the prices below them in bold font.]The only woman in the shop stood with a smile."Hello! How can I help you?" She asked, waving her hand behind her.The weapon smith leaned against his desk bored. Waving mildly he replied, "I can make you something special if you want to sell me your soul." He grinned as he added, "Though I guess money works too." So what will you buy?He was a thin man, pale and weak looking. He glanced at you and coughed once into a handkerchief. "Order what you want. It's all custom tailored to your frame." He coughed again and added, "Though stuff not on display cost a high amount. Check the wallet before you try and order." He coughed a third time and put away the handkerchief.

[The map led you down a curvy path deep within the city. The shop you now stand before was gloomy, dark. Inside you see a cluttered shop. There were some potions on a shelf and some jewelry in the glass desk. Books stacked high all over, filling three bookshelves with knickknacks trying to keep them from falling off the shelf.]An impish man with greased back hair stood before you pleased with a potential shopper. He rubbed his hands together in a circular motion and he went to the register. "Yes? Can I help you? Do you need a rare spell? I have many special deals..." He eagerly said.

NPC's Bethany. Age 18. She is a master with both the dirk, and whip. She is quite mature for her age, but she sometimes seems/acts very young/innocent. Sazu. Age 7 months. He is playful, and very stubborn. Being trained to be a hunter. No name NPC's: Will only be used in the shops they are from.
