For those of you who are interested, it seems that Eric Hovind and Creation Science Evangelism are now filing false DMCA copyright claims against any video on youtube that is critical of Kent Hovind's claims. Some of these videos showed clips from Mr. Hovind's seminars, during which he had repeatedly waved the copyrights to them. But most videos were original works that neither CSE nor Hovind had any claim to. A few were Hovind's calls from jail which CSE has no claim to because 1) They were used as evidence at a federal trial, 2) CSE or Hovind does not own the jail phone system, 3) They were released to the internet by the media. You can read more about this situation at the following sites.

Keep in mind though, once youtube gets a DMCA copyright claim, they have to treat it as factual. This is not youtubes fault. The youtube admins are obeying the law. Many users have filed counter claims demonstrating that they own the content in the videos that were removed and it does take a while for these gears to turn, but CSE could be sued for filing these false claims and a call has already been placed to the prosecuting attorney in the Hovind tax evasion trial (the contents of that call are being kept confidential for now). That they would attempt to illegally silence their critics in this manner speaks volumes about the true nature of that organization and the Hovind family.
