Fitina pricked his ears up briefly as he heard something coming up behind him. His lax personality at the moment made him a prime target for lions, though he preferred to sleep in trees whenever possible to avoid any conflicts with passing-by lions. Yawning widely, he gazed lazily out across the area. It seemed that it was almost yesterday that he was leaving this area. He wished that the trip towards the other side of the lands had been a little slower, but he had confirmed that his sister wasn’t over there. She has to be here somewhere, he thought to himself, unaware that he had been spotted by an old friend.
A few moments later, he felt a large body pounce him and he nearly jumped if he wasn’t being pinned to the ground. Pinning his ears against his chest, he braced his forepaws against the chest of his ‘attacker’ and saw that it was Alana who had pounced him. Immediately, he went limp as he nuzzled his friend lightly.
“It has been too long,” he said to Alana, his voice purring slightly as he talked. “Where had you traveled to and who have you met? You have got to tell me all about your adventures!”

Alana welcomed his nuzzle and moved off him to sit beside him a wide smile on her maw.
"It has been too long! It is great to see you Fitina!" She smiled and then heard his questions. Oh dear this was going to be interesting.
"Erm.. well I have a cub now. She is beautiful and unexpected. I don't think her father will ever know as he was a lion. I didn't even know I could carry a lions cub! Anyway I am bringing her up on my own so I haven't really been able to do much. She is hidden in the jungle at the moment sleeping I hope. I have been watching for your sister though, I haven't seen her. Have you had much luck finding her?" She wanted to change the subject. She had always liked Fitina and the last thing she wanted to do was scare him away.

The onrush of words from Alana’s maw startled Fitina slightly, but he listened to her with both of his ears pricked up. He was interested in what she had to say after being apart from her for so long. He was a little disappointed that she hadn’t found his sister, but he hadn’t really given much hope that she would be found by a strange leopardess let alone himself.
He shook his head somberly at her question. “Not a single trace of her. It seems she has vanished off the face of the planet. That is if that is even possible,” he said, his voice a little gloomy. He immediately picked himself up as he flicked his tail in front of the leopardess’ nose. “So, a cub, huh? Must be an interesting experience being a parent. Though, tough at the same time. I guess that is why my mother died when I was younger. That or she didn’t have any experience being a single parent.” He flushes slightly at his words and he scooted himself backwards a few inches.

Alana looked clearly upset as he spoke and she moved a little closer to him, giving him a small nuzzle. "Oh I am so sorry, I wish I had found her for you. Maybe you could stay with me for a while and meet my daughter. I am sure she would like you."
She felt a little sad that she would have to leave him again so it was the only thing she could think of that actually made any sense. That way together they could go looking for his sister or something.
"Please stay, at least a while?"

[Sorry about the extreme lateness of this reply. X.X RL kicked me hard...extremely hard]
"That's quite alright. I knew that she wouldn't be that easy to find. Once she goes into hiding or vanishes from sight she is hard to find again. Maybe it is best if I haven't found her yet. I don't know what she would do if I found her. Maybe vanish again, probably. She is that type of leopard." Hearing that he should stay and meet his daughter, he smiled happily at her. "That is a wonderful idea. I would love to stay with you. It will give me some time to help raise your little one."
Even though Alana's daughter wasn't his own, he wanted to raise her like the leopard cub was his own daughter. He felt like he wanted to be the cub's father figure in life.

Alana smiled at him. He was offering to help bring up her daughter? Oh that was amazing. She flicked her tail and let a large smile cross her face.
"Oh it would be lovely to have you stay with us, I am sure my daughter would love to meet you! She is a sweetie!" Alana was over joyed to have him staying even if it was only going to be for a little while it was worth it, just because she adored being in his company! She had adored him when they first met and had missed him somewhat even with her lion friends but now that he was back she didn't want to loose him again.

Fitina flicked the tip of his tail back and forth. He was a little disappointed that they parted ways a while ago and she had a child, but that was life. He wanted to find his sister back when they first met and he didn't want to get involved in any relationships until he found her.
Now times had changed and he realized that he wanted to be with Alana more than finding his sister. Smiling wider, he took a few timid steps closer to the femme. "I'm sure she has the same bright personality as you do," he said to her chipperly.

Alana chuckled, "Me bright personality?" She couldn't help but find that idea somewhat amusing.
"Come back to the jungle with me? Please?" She smiled softly, glad to be with her best friend again. It would be great to have him with her and her daughter. It would be the best thing in the world!

He gazed at her curiously at her comment. She didn't have a bright personality? He had always imagined her with a bright personality. But that was in his nature to think of that of everyone he came across. Maybe she was more different than he had imagined her, but that was alright to Fitina.
He pondered on her question for a few moments before nodding his head. "Of course I will come with you to the jungle. It would be a good thing for me since it will give me a little bit of experience dealing with young leopards." He had wanted to find a mate of his own, but it seemed that Alana was looking more and more like his choice of a mate.
