Shaon stepped gingerly into Kvatch's castle. It seemed homey, in a way, even if it was a bit broken down and dusty. in fact, that's kind of what she liked about it. She pulled her mask off and her helm as well, she woudln;t need them here.

"Ah!" Sydney said, coming down the staircase which lead into the entrance hall. "My dear silencer! How is life treating you?"

She smiled. "Very well, dear brother. Needless to say, i can;t say the same for my unfortunate vistims." she set her helm and mask on a table. "And how have you been, my dear speaker?"

She smiled, chuckling. "Splendid. Count me in, my dear speaker." she took out one of her wspellbooks, one she had recently dug up from a victim. "I foudn a book of necromancy on one of my contracts." she rubbed her hand over the black spine which was riddled with glowing red orbs. "now i can actually resurect a human, instead of just rats like before..."

"Really?" said Sydney, his interest sparked. "I have done a little meddling in the dark arts myself, rather interesting isn't it?"

Shaon nodded. "Truly fascinating." she scanned through it. "I daresay I've become a bit obsessed about learning it." her eyes remained glued to the page as she spoke. "They way the runes are written, the way it feels to flirt between this world and the next...the way the darkness pool through you. It's ecstatic, really." she looked up at Sydney as she stroked the spine. "It's like i've found another reason to be in the brotherhood. I think Sithis himself guided me to this wonderful find. I hope i can repay him in this life later on."

Leo stepped out of the shadows quietly. "I have a staff that resurrects the dead, but I rarely use it. I know their soul still belongs to Sithis, but it still feels awkward using their body."

"Really? I prefer just to do it myself. But yes, it does feel weird using someones body when the sould belongs to Sithis..."

shaon spoek up quietly. "Sithis had granted us the power to be able to use the husk left over. He has the best part, and has thought it a reward to give to us what is left over." her eyes drank in her surroundings as she looked back to the book. "he is...throwing us a bone, so to speak."

"Well put Shaon. Yes, it is a bit dark and dim in here at the moment, but I'll try to make things a little more... welcoming..."

She grinned and put the book down. "I thionk dark is better. What's the point of makign soemthign look more welcoming? then people not from the brotherhood might wander in here, and that would be a mess." she stood and swept around the room, observing everythgin. "I think it's quite nice already."

"A few reanimated servants wouldn't go a miss, would they?" Sydney said with a laugh.
