Quick Run down of Rules for Battle

Accuracy Vs. Speed
How to calculate.

Attacker's ACC.= A, Defender's Spd= B

If you are attacking and A > B then the attack automatically connects.

If you are attacking and A = B then roll a d12. If it is higher than 6, the attack hits. This d12 will be the second dice and will double with the Power Dice.

If you are attacking and B > A then the defender must roll a d12. If the number the Speed Dice generates is lower than the difference of B-A, then the attack connects. If the difference is great than 12, then it will automatically miss.

The Speed Dice is ALWAYS the first one.

Power vs. Defense

If Pow. > Def. then the attack is equal to the Power score.

If Pow. = Def. then the attack is equal to the Power Score.

If Def. > Pow. then You must subtract the difference from the Power score.

Critical is equal to double damage and you must score a 12

The Power Dice is ALWAYS the second one.

How to Post.

Always post your current HP and AP score, out of your total in the top right of every post.
When a status is incurred, the status must be placed under your other info.

When in action, Roll the dice first, and then edit your post to fit the results.

Status knowledge needed for this battle:
Blind: -3 accuracy. If caused by environment, it will last 2 turns past.

General battle skills:
Sneak Attack: If Target's Intelligence is less than Attacker's Accuracy, then sneak attack hits. Must be facing away from attacker.
Defend: In return for giving a free hit to your opponent, you get an autohit the next turn. If you have a shield, you take the amount of your defense off of your attacker's damage.

Far on the frontier of the country Aekea, a lawless land with little civilization dotted far from the capital Aekea. It is a good place for a man to get lost. The vast canyons and desert that compses much of Aekea stretch around the outskirts of a small city. Its a small mining town called Dosk. Not much goes on in Dosk except the miners and the odd merchant now and then, but the tavern is as good as any in the land, with cheap booze and passable food. Its a place where travellers congregate, whether merchants of goods or merchants of death, there is a sort of unspoken truce between all within the bar... just like all the other inns in the land. It is at afternoon in the middle of the brutal summer in this tavern where our story begins.

Taking a sip of his cool ale, Sadun thanked the heavens for a break from the insanity that has been his life as of late, having recently been forced to kill a dear dear friend of his. However, his appreciation for this bit of vacation time had been broken abruptly. He noticed the barmaid staring at him with a certain discontent as he sipped his ale. Letting out a thick sigh that bellowed across floor, Sadun shrugged his massive shoulders and spoke out; if one's heart could not be discontented by Sadun Tryst's mere apperance, they were soon hallowed by his deep and powerful voice, although, lurking in the depths of the manly voice was an air of boyish cockiness. Truth be told... Tryst was more a child than a man in the mind.

"Alright, alright lass. I know what you be eyeing me for..."

Sadun reached a massive paw into his burlap purse, finding his very last coin and laying it on the table. Those same massive shoulders, which has been risen to high and proud, now slumped beneath his chain mail as his lost himself to his thoughts.

"Damn... A man cannot simply relax after life threatening ordeals these days... I'm straight broke... hmmm... how am I going to get some money?...."

Sadun scowled to himself, drowning the expression away in a gulp of ale.

Outside the windows could be heard a faint scuffling, the sound like a coming sandstorm which were frequent in these parts. It wasn't until the dull thumping boom that signaled the collapse of a nearby building that anybody really gave it much thought.

Thrakozogg wasn't a very smart troll. Even among trolls, but he didn't see any problems with raiding this village. After all, he'd been doing it for a while now. A few warriors of one kind or another had tried to resist, hired by the town as Thrakozogg had heard them to do. Of course he had killed them. They were only squishy little manpeoples after all. Then again, the last had cost him an eye and he had taken his ire out on any man beast he found wearing a sword. There again, it was a little miracle that he recognized a sheathed sword.

Yes, Thrakozogg was not smart, but he was strong. Big as well. Even for other trolls, standing something like 8 feet tall and 6 wide with his hunched back and knobbly shoulders.

So it was like many days past that Thrakozogg kicked into town and began knocking the buildings down. Unfortunately he chose a solicitous looking building once the first had collapsed and he crashed in through the splintered walls of the tavern and gazed around with his rat like eyes.

Sadun hadn't so much as shivered at the apperance of the troll, his back still towards the beast, he looked to the barmaid whose face was full of terror. A glint appeared in Tryst's right eye as a smirk adorned his face. Rising from his seat, the barbarian placed a firm hand on the shoulder of the maid.

"Now, my lady... Despite my apperance, I am indeed a business man. You see, I estimate that if you repair that wall, and the troll busts through it again, you'd be out quite a bit of gold. You'd just be running the tavern to pay for repairs... so heres what I suggest to you. Pay me a modest fee and I could... play with- I mean exterminate that there critter for you. So, what say you, lass? Oh... and some more ale on the house would be nice too."

Closing his eye lids and warp his face into the widest smile ever, Tryst must have appeared insane to the woman. He came off as being very friendly, perhaps too friend for his head to be on straight... crazy barbarian didn't even wear a helmet... perhaps he had been hit upside the head too many times.

The little man beast was talking. Thrakozogg knew that, but the words he said were said too softly for his ears. He scratched his greasy hair and looked around. Most of the little squishy people were acting like normal, but this one kept talking to the little squishy woman thing. It was then that Thrakozogg saw the sword slung across the man's chair.

All of a sudden all the troll could see was a fire of red rage and he bellowed. Which thereby bathed at least half the crowd with troll slobber which they would probably never get out of their clothes. The actual panic started then as people dashed around and Thrakozogg stepped on a squishy man as he roared again and swiped chairs out of his path and turned tables into splinters. He swept his arm at the man squishy with the sword.

With speed unexpected by the troll, Sadun dashed to the side, rolling across the floor and picking his sword up off the chair. Rising to his feet, he quickly tossed the scabbard and swung his Iron Zweihander at the retracting hand.

Thrakozogg jerked his hand back in surprise with a yelp and stupidly overbalanced himself, which had the result of him crashing through the wall in the opposite direction into the fresh sandstorm that was starting to whip up within the town.
He grunted and whined as he knuckled his eyes and swung wildly for his opponent who he hoped had followed him out of the tavern.

Taking a moment to study the patterns in his opponent's thrashings, Sadun rushed towards the beast. Taking aim before he entered the storm as he leapt forward with a mighty cleaving attack. The blow caught the troll directly across the chest for 10 dmg. Finding himself in the storm now, he looked around for his opponent. Being a barbarian familiar with the world of nature, Sadun was only partially blinded by this storm. Still somewhat unable to determine the location of his opponent, he called out.

"How did you like the taste of my sword beast?!"

"I hear you little squishy man! You will break on Thrakozogg's claws little man!"
The speech was garbled, half due to the large tusks jutting from his mouth the other from the sand blowing into his over large mouth. He spun round and round, knocking pillars off buildings and kicking up the sand. Finally he bumped into Sadun and whirled about with both hands drawn in claws and sweeping down at him.
"I will crush you little man!"
