but I don't feel it. Maybe becuase it's still hot out. Or maybe I'm lossing intreast in halloween.
I always figured if I lost intrest in free candy I'd turn to spending the night watching horror movies but even that don't sound like fun.
halloween partys are borning around here.

Find a good party then wink
Even so I don't think I'd ever lose interest in it, we all have different interests and I just happen to love halloween.

Some people do, some don't. I'm fifteen and i kinda am losing interest in treating and gaining an interest in going to parties and getting drunk off my a** with friends and family.

I'm 19 years old and I'm a Hallween obsessed nutjob. It's not even so much the candy that I like about it (though candy IS tasty, and free candy is even tastier), I just like getting the hell scared out of me and scaring the hell out of other people. mrgreen

I still love halloween. You can always find something to do or just get great decorations. Whether or not it's the best doesn't matter as long as your entertained.

I was borne the day before halloween, at 10:30 on 10/30, so I believe that I will never tire of the awesomeness of getting gifts and then loads of free candy

I'm in my mid 20's and my finace and i already have our halloween costumes set to go, and i'm in the process of breaking out my home decor this week. Halloween is just to fun. And if you get sick of candy, just had out snack bags of chips! hehe.
Halloween is much more then just candy and sugar-buzzed children roaming the streets... its the change in seasons, the bitter cold nipping at you, the frost on your windshields in the early morning, the sun setting earlier, and the smells of burning leaves and wood stoves, and the apple cider... it's a last hoorah before the snow sets it. wink

If you think you're losing interest in Halloween, and don't want to do parties or trick or treating, why not try and turn your house into a cool Halloween spot?
I kind of forced my parents many years ago to go trick or treating with my little brother and sister, and I took over command of the house. Since then, I've taken off with it, and it's become a great hit in the neighborhood. My mom is the President of the PTA at the elementary school near our house, and I'm always over there helping, and I've heard kids talk about my house, not even knowing it was mine. Then, when they come up and see me dressed up, and they've gotten past all my creepy decorations, they are so excited about it, and can't wait until the next year to come. Trust me, it's a lot of fun to see kids not just get scared, but really have fun with it, and get excited to come back.

Halloween's not boring! gonk Heck, I'm 18 years old and I still love the idea of running around in costumes, working at haunted houses, hosting parties and making sure trick-or-treaters get the full experience when coming over to my house. I went to an awesome Halloween party my friend hosted last year and it was just plain that; Awesome! She had a fog maker and music that everyone loved. Everyone loved being in costumes of characters and creatures they wanted to be and the decorations she put up were all out! heart As far as trick-or-treaters coming to my house, I spend most of October trying to decorate and work on my act just for that night when children come door-to-door in search of sugary treats. For those who are little, I try not to scare them too bad cause I can't stand to see little girls in princess outfits cry or little boys in batman costumes hide in fear behind their parents. For the more older ones, it's fun to scare the hell out of them. My work in a haunted house helped scare the crap out of them but every once and a while, you'll get a smartalack that takes all the fun out of it. Anyway, my point is, Halloween is all in how you make it. Try and find something you'd be interested in doing and find people you'd want to do it with. xp Just have fun with it. I know I sure do. 3nodding

what else is there? There's always something to do on Halloween; sick of the usual? Try making a haunted gauntlet or better yet, go out there and scare other people. They always need a good scare!
