(Much like Pokémon, some people on Gaia lurk in different stretches of tall grass guilds, so I'm going to post this here, too, so I can a) get all the folk on my list, and b) get many other folks besides to post.) Yes, you. Specifically, your path, your religion, your opinion, your beliefs, your thoughts, your calling, your purpose, your ideas, your Magnum Opus, your raison d'etre, your faith, your following. I'm aware the Introductions thread is kind of like this, but I'm after specifics here. =o Take a whole post to tell me. Don't be afraid to write a little bit, come back later, and edit your post to add in some more. I want it all, goddamnit. When I say "path", I mean your faith, religion, style of magick, branch of psionics, tradition, whatever. And I mean /your/ path, as in, how /you specifically/ practise it. I'll add further questions to the bottom of this list if I think up any more (feel free to suggest some by the way). For easy replies, I'll put the list in code tags.

What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any?
What are the central ideas in this path?
What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself?
Why have you taken this path over all others?
What events in your past led you to this path?
What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path?
What do you feel are your strengths in your path?
What are your weaknesses?
What do you like most about your path?
What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general?
What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in?
What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path?
What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path?
What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with?
List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path.
What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca?
List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like.
I'll no doubt be given funny looks by adding this last bit, but in particular, I'd like replies from the following people especially. If you aren't one of these folks, post anyway; I'd like to find out about as many people as possible. Once you've posted, I'll strike you off the list. Abarrach, Aila-al-Jehan,, a**l Jesus, Azana Brown, Blind Guardian the 2nd, [BlkCat], Darin Rosewood, Dorian Requiem, DrasBrisingr, Epsilon Riddle, Ges, h3rsh, iolitefire, Joshua RItter, Kaena Wraithson, Khalida Nyoka, LadyAnubis, Loagaeth, LoBo_23, Lost Elf, Nuadu, Obscurus, Pageantry, PsycheLapis, Raistlin of Krynn, The Resurrection, Sengem, Sinesthera, ShadowHail, Starlock, S p a r o l, Subrosian, Terg, Tsuzuki, WingedWolfPsion, Wings of Aegis. That list will likely be added to over the next few days, by the by. If you're not on there, don't be disappointed or I'll kill you dead. MPRILC thread Mysteric Realms thread

I would really like to do this but reading the questions I realised it is semi impossible for me to answer by properly following them. For me everything has been more of a personal quest that is based more on my own inner minds workings with the things on the outside and such like this, the occult influence upon this was basically anything I can get my hands on to learn, so far I have found just about everything is linked. I think to really get into the answers I would end up giving a kind of strange personal otherlife story, although I don't think that's the right word for it. redface

What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? Doesn't really have one. What are the central ideas in this path? Not entirely certain what you mean by this. Perhaps these will fall out in the rest of the list below. What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? Easy questions, huh? We'll, its a magico-mystical path, so no real issues with magic, though some of its Jewish and theurgic roots would probably not care for the term all that much. Rather indifferent towards psychic phenomena. The occult is a fairly large area, with a lot of silliness going on within the so-called occult community. More or less, I'd say that I'm fairly indifferent towards what doesn't concern me and interested in what does. Humanity? Has potential, frequently doesn't live up to it, but heck, most mysticisms think the same thing. Gods? Depends on what you mean by that. I don't think they are what most people think they are . . . depending on what you mean by that wink Nature's all around us (not to mention that we're part of it), a manifestation of the glory and presence of the divine. I rather like Iamblichus' idea of it, which is frequently reflected in various Kabbalistic schools. The soul, have one, or five, will travel; frequently don't have a choice about it anyway. Death . . . er, happens? Sort of indifferent about reincarnation and such. Why have you taken this path over all others? Not exactly my first path, but then again thats true for everyone. Why this over others? It speaks to me more. What events in your past led you to this path? What, you want an entire life history? The short version would probably go along the lines of dissatisfaction with other things. What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? You realize I teach philosophy for a living, right? Makes this a somewhat loaded question. So, while there are a number of Neoplatonic and Kabbalistic ideals within what I do in the world, the most basic would be the idea that in the spiritual "world" there is no space or time, so there is no distance. Instead, one becomes "close" to something by being similar to it. If you want to be close to god (or whatever), then you must be like god. What do you feel are your strengths in your path? One of the highlights of what I do rests on a basis of solid scholarship and hard work, I'm fairly good at both of those. What are your weaknesses? Quite lazy, aren't I? What do you like most about your path? Being an elitist wink I rather like that most people simply wont deal with the discipline and intellectuality required to walk it. What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? Hmm, the ego-maniacal, self-delusional, back-biting so-called occult community? Yeah, lets go with that one. What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? I've met, oh, maybe three people who I would consider to have actual expertise in this area, and that after 20 or 30 years of doing it. I only have 16 or 17 years . . . so I wouldn't consider myself an expert on anything. That being said, I do have some knowledge of modern Western ceremonial magic in what might be considered its "traditional" form, Jewish Kabbalah and Renaissance Hermetism as well as the modern, academic, study of ritual theory, myth theory, myth-ritual theory and Pagan studies. What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? Gikatilla's Sha'are Orah, the Sefer Yetzirah, Agrippa's De Occulta Philosophia . . . really only have a top three that fit the above critera. What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? I really couldn't say, and if I could, I probably wouldn't. What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? We don't have enough space here. List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. Hmm, how about the sefirot are not the freaking planets, Hebrew isn't pronounced like you think it is and no, being an adept in the Golden Dawn (which I was) does not mean you get to skip grades in other orders? What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? Fairly indifferent I guess, though it draws from ideology associated with some of these. Of course, there is no such thing as religion, only religious people, so its sort of a loaded question wink . . . I mentioned that I teach religious studies too, right? List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. There aren't any, per se, at least not about the path in specific. As I tend to use books more than the internet, the internet being a depository for some of the most worthless crap concerning the occult and spirituality (and most other things for that matter), I tend to not recommend web sites about almost anything. LibraryThing has my personal "working" library, though I wouldn't necessarily recommend all of those books. Well, there you go. I think I've managed to not give you any useful information at all.

What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? I'm not really sure what you would call it. It is particularly grimoiric for sure, and I like a lot of Solomonic stuff. I like demons and angels, but my work always tends to have an angelic slant. What are the central ideas in this path? Hmmm... good question. Well, the path that many of the grimoires take us on involves the constraining of demons to do one's will, the ambassador-like role of dealing with the angels, and the other spirits fall somewhere in between. It's about enlightenment, learning, rising up, and learning to control and change the world around you. My own focus is more on the history of all these things and how it relates to us now, perhaps a bigger picture. Everyone is interested in what magick can do for them, but I want to know why it is here to begin with as well. In so many instances, humans have reached out to spirits for their power, but in many other instances the spirits have reached out to us. But why? Think of the Enochian angels, and their persistance in conveying their system of magick to John Dee, the system which would become a legend even in our time. What are angels exactly? Or demons? Or any of them? And why are they doing what they are doing? It reminds me of a tapestry that is being woven between us from both sides, them on one and us on the other. If one stood far enough back, what would this tapestry look like? In this way, this magick which feels to me like a legacy that both sides share, is inspiring. It takes me to the past, it lights up the present, it propels me into the future... it makes me feel eternal. Whether our relationship with them is based on love, fascination, competition, hatred, envy, or all of the above, some bonds cannot be broken. What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? Hmmm... Magick, I would say, plays a central role, and yet it seems like the affects of that magick on the person casting it seem more important. Psionics, I couldn't tell you. The Occult, it is the murky waters which I am always seeming to tread further and further into. Humanity... capable of being as brilliant as the stars and as beautiful as a sunset, so often tend to let all of that go to waste. The mini model of the universe, we have God within us. People would be amazing if they worked at it. Gods... perhaps they are just like us, but in another plane. Nature is one of the only places I don't find disappointment. I always long to be closer to it. The soul is that in us which is eternal. Death is only a beginning. I feel like I have lived a thousands lives. A death would only be a marking point. As far as other major opinions, I am at a point in my life in which confusion has become prevalent. When I started with all of this, everything was black and white, and the lines were so clear. But as I went further into this ocean, all the lines melted away, and everything mixed and became grey. This is the time when I am rebuilding everything using all that I have learned. I'll be okay. It just takes time and thought. Why have you taken this path over all others? It sounds corny, but I think it was in me from the very start. I feel like I've been walking towards this for years. What events in your past led you to this path? When I was much younger, about 12, I was looking for magick. There was this constant thing moving around in me like a loud knock on a door that kept pushing me to look for it. Everyone around me said it wasn't real, yet something so tangible inside of me said otherwise. I eventually found out about witchcraft and started to read a little bit about it here and there. It was someone I saw one day that opened the door that I would never be able to close again. I wanted to find him, yet I knew nothing about him. I resolved that psychic or spiritual methods would be the only way I could accomplish this. The memory of him led me to the doors of the castle; everything else was history. In case you were wondering, I never did find him. What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? I just want to learn, to fulfill what I feel is my purpose, and to behold all of the splendor of the universe that I can in my time here. I know there is a brilliant light at the center of this fortress, and I will find it. What do you feel are your strengths in your path? I'm very passionate about what I do. I can't imagine what any of this would be like if it wasn't grafted into me like a birthmark. What are your weaknesses? I can be impatient, and I can also get distracted. What do you like most about your path? I like that there never is an end to how much you can take in. I will never know everything. What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? It can be a little fluffy at times. Sometimes it's hard to weed through the "fluff". That and the constant Egyptian/Thelemic references in books I would otherwise really like. Nothing wrong with Thelema, I just don't like it. What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? I know a good bit about ceremonial magick, as well as a good bit about angels, Enochian material. I've studied a lot of grimoires. Honestly I am not much of an expert in most things, I still have a long way to go. What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? Hmmm... Well, "The Three Books of Occult Philosophy" by Agrippa is an invaluable source of information on basically everything. "The Secrets of the Magickal Grimoires" by Aaron Leitch is also a book I use all the time. The grimoires are usually filled with lots of "thou art", and this book helps make everything much clearer. "The Magus" by Francis Barrett has been used a few times, mainly for the invocations used on certain days. "Enochian Magic for Beginners" by Donald Tyson has been used a lot, mainly for the tables and seals in it. I use the Sacred-Texts website a lot as well. What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? Oh boy... probably some of the dreams I've had, or the feelings I've had while doing rituals. It's hard to pin point just one. What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? I'm not a big fan of the whole "Rule of Three" or whatever from the Wiccan Rede. If there was one quote I liked from Aleister Crowley, it was "Do what thou wilt, that shall be the whole of the law". It's not to say that I don't think you could get your a** kicked for doing something horrible to someone. I just view it a little differently. List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. 1. In the grimoires, women are basically told not to practice the material. In the eyes of John Dee, I would be screwed! 2. I'm not 100% on this, but I think John Dee's scryer Edward Kelly didn't have ears. 3. There is an Enochian word for "vomit out". What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? I don't really care. As long as they don't act like jackasses to me, I won't be too upset. List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. I geez, I don't know them all off hand... www.sacred-texts.com www.esotericarchives.com www.themysticcorner.com (they have some pretty one of a kind supplies) www.satanicsingles.com (they have a huge library of occult PDF files)

Awesome, I was beginning to think you two'd up and disappeared. =D
And SanguisVitae, it's perfectly cool if you don't stick to the format that I've laid out - I'm more interested in finding out what you're all about, really, and if I can glean that information from a paragraph or five, then I'm good. Post your strange personal otherlife story if you want to, I'd appreciate it.

Mitsh Awesome, I was beginning to think you two'd up and disappeared. =) I DID up and disappear! But only because my computer and I were at war with one another. There's not much incentive to come back to Gaia when the longest your internet will work at one time is about 6 minutes. Somehow I got it fixed though!

I've been floating around, I just haven't had much to say. Somewhere I have a paper on the three forms of Havayah and similarities and differences between that Name and the philosophic elements, but I have a bunch of other stuff on my plate, such as the soon to be released Autumnal issue of the Journal of the Western Mystery Tradition, teaching and finishing my doctoral thesis. Oh, and getting my daughter to take a nap; hardest of them all, that. M-tasking is fun!

I've been a bit inactive lately due to some personal issues. But I should be back for a while. What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any?um...I'm eclectic, I guess.
What are the central ideas in this path?I take aspects of several paths and combine them to suit my needs. My tools pretty traditional (basically like anyone else who follows a general Celtic or Wiccan based path). I work mostly with Egyptian dieties, and also with the Goddess. I also combine some aspects of Asian religion and schools of thought.
What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself?Well, seeing as I'm eclectic, it's pretty much just my opinion on these things. I perform spells. I have a skeptical belief in psionics. I believe in things like ghosts, and have participated in ghost hunts. I don't believe in one true way or path. I'm open to just about every path and god.
I'm still debating on my position on the afterlife. There are a lot of theories out there, and I'm not sure about any of them. I think I've established that I believe in reincarnation, but I'm still not sure on the specifics, just that we can be reborn.
Why have you taken this path over all others? I have issues with organized religion. I started following paganism because it allowed me to take the pieces from all religions that I agreed with and merge them into something that was spiritually satisfying for me.
What events in your past led you to this path? Bad experience with some so called "good Christians" at the church I used to attend. Nothing extreme, but even tough I was a church member and worshiped just the same as them, they always treated me like a project, like I wasn't as good as them, because we live 30 miles away and couldn't come to church every Sunday (my dad works 24 hour shifts and my mom can't drive).
Anyway, I got sick of it.
Also, my freshman year, I was living with two pagans, and then I started researching paganism for a story ( I write fantasy), and I wanted to write witches they way they are, and not how the media has made them. Through this process, the hypocracies of the Christian Church became magnified to me (though I'd always been aware of them and had a problem with it). Eventually, I decided I was done with the church and was ready for something new, that I could whole-heartedly believe in.
What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? There isn't just one god, one way of being right. Respect is the number one rule. Respect for other people, other paths.
What do you feel are your strengths in your path? Respect. Open mindedness.
What are your weaknesses? Well, I'm not very good at things like mediation...or anything involving spirits or concentration...
What do you like most about your path? I like how relaxed it is. I don't think religion should be constraining.
What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? The fakers.
What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? Tarot, and a bit in runes. I'm also rather adept at writing banishing, blessing, and karma/healing spells.
What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? The Element Encyclopedia of Witchcraft The Crystal Bible Magical Herbalism Witches Datebook (basically, it's an almanac/day planner in one)
Other than that, I like history books--history of Egyptian religion, etc. I can't think of any titles off the top of my head.
What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? We were sitting around one night with my digital audio recorder, trying to record EVPS of our spirit guides/guardians (my and my three roommates that is). I was sitting on the couch, several feet from anyone else, and I felt someone run their fingers through my hair. I know it was my guardian, Aru. I can't really talk to him, but I can feel him every now and then.
What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? I don't like the idea that some have, especially the ultra-traditionals, that they are the only ones who are right. I'm not so much into Wicca, though I do use aspects of it. There are some things I've found in Wiccan books that seem more like superstition than magick.
List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path.Um...
What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? I take bits and pieces from all of these. My only problem with Christianity, Islam, and Judaism is when they they insist they are the only ones who are right and think less of you for disagreeing with them.
List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like.Um...I just went to the library, and read a lot of books. Surprisingly, I didn't use a single internet site as a source, except when researching specific goddess and gods.
And now my question for you: Is there a reason I was asked to post other than having been AWOL for a month or two?

What is your path's opinion of itself? God is a hipocrite. stare Why have you taken this path over all others? Probably out of curiosity but I also come from a christian family & they were all acting like such hipocrites (Not all christians are though! 3nodding ) What events in your past led you to this path? Questioning my religious family's desicions even though thay say thay are all one with God What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? I believe in revenge in a just way is the biggest one. & if you want it, indulge in it. What do you feel are your strengths in your path? I'm not sure yet. It amuses me. What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? When in the wrong hands it can go horribly wrong What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? None What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? The Satanic Bible & the internet (Wikipedia & such) What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? I'm not sure What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? I'm an open-minded person so I'll probably agree with alot of it. List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. Still learning. I'm not sure yet What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? I am open to all but when a person comes up to me & says that i'm wrong & only their way is right, i'm gonna bash them. But I respect all religions. Even christianity List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like.

Ack, I'm on your list...thus suspicious... What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? Depends on who I'm talking to, as that becomes how I explain it. I prefer calling it Pantheistic Solipsism, but also may call myself a Vajrayanic Chaos Magician. Though recently I've been using the term (slightly tongue in cheek) Omnijective Consciousness.
What are the central ideas in this path? Simple. Thought is Energy. Energy is Reality. Reality is Me. I am Reality. There is nothing Internal that is not External, there is nothing External, that is not Internal. Or to use the Sanskrit phrase that sums it up "Tat twam asi" or Thou Art God. (Though due to my heavy Chaos Magick influence, that's always open for revision if I ever find something it can't handle.)
What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? Magick: Magick is just my Will becoming Manifest. The core of the system is Magick really, because it is the proof to the Theory. Psionics: Really just the same as magick, neither has a clear definition, so comparing them doesn't work. Occult: Exists inside, but by uncovering it, one becomes Whole. Humanity: Humanity is no better, and no worse than anything else. It's not like in some Newage were Humans are low down on the hierarchy, or like in Buddhism where it is a blessing to be a human. Simply humans are humans, nothing good, nor bad about it, just some things are different about being a human than being a dragon, a tree, a horse or a star. Gods: Yes I am, thank you for asking. Gods, as entities are all at once Objective and Subjective, Internal and External, Archetypes and Individuals, New and Immemorial. Nature: See humanity. Nature is not something I revere, it's pretty, and important to my survival here, but that's about it. I'm not an eco-nut, but I believe in being responsible, and trying to keep the Earth going as best I can while here. The soul: Doesn't exist as anything clearly defined. The Soul can be something understood in a variety of theoretical ways, but the word itself leaves so much undefined it can be hard to use. The "Soul" is a multiple layered Energy Body (not like the Newage 12billion bodies all in one, but a "chain" of Lower and Higher Selves leading all they way back to the Divine Source). Death: An annoyance. What is your path's opinion of itself: Godly
Why have you taken this path over all others? It's the only path that was natural. Christianity, Asatru, (Plastic) Native American beliefs, all of them required external concepts and guidelines. The Bible, the Eddas, teachings of Elders. The Lord's Prayer, the Runes, memorizing all the Wheel associations. Pantheistic Solipsism requires I only take in external what is useful for me. It pushes me to understand and learn for myself. The only symbols and thoughts that I have to memorize are the ones that seem beneficial to me, but if I didn't learn them I wouldn't be failing at what I believe.
Experience is the other thing. I feel into this path as I got deeper into Magick and Myself, and started having trouble finding where I ended and the World/Gods/Elements/People began.
What events in your past led you to this path? A crap load of denial. Though when I started to waiver it seems like everything came at me to say "Thou art God!" Reiki, A Stranger in a Strange Land, Aruhani, Holography, some crappy show about an octopus and a star. Everything was clattering at my door saying "You are everything, everything is you" until finally I gave in, and started to work in experiencing it, and now that I do, I find a lot more "proof" that it's right.
What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? Really, that's hard to say. I guess it is Be Your Dharma, or "Do as thou Will". It hasn't come up above (and I haven't read ahead, so I don't know if it will) but Universal Dharma is a huge thing in my Paradigm. We all Do what we are to Do, and try not to interfere with the Dharma of others, unless not interfering would interfere with your own.
What do you feel are your strengths in your path? I push myself to learn, experiment, and experience. Experience adds to Belief, and Belief adds to Reality.
What are your weaknesses? I'm amoral (not a weakness), but Gods damn it I'm polite. So I don't know how to handle Goetics sometimes. Do I put them in a circle, because they are Psychological Constructs? Or no circles, because summoning someone into a circle is damn rude? (Okay, I'm sure I have other weaknesses, but I'm already 90 minutes past collapsing, so the fact I'm retaining this level of coherence is impressive.)
What do you like most about your path? It's amoral, non-dogmatic, and self-affirming.
What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? Dogma, fanaticism, lack of faith, and lack of initiative. While I'm all for the (outdated) concept of High Magick, really the fact that you've Achieved Knowledge and Conversation with your Holy Guardian Angel won't impress me if you've been slinging burgers for the last 7 years, living with your parents and always depressed. I dislike how people are so passive. If you believe in magick/god/psionics, and your life is crap do something to change it.
What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? Hmm. Jack of all trades I guess (though I resent the Master of None). I seem to have a knack at making Constructs, and working with the Energy Body. I'm seriously studying the Tarot, and I don't mean just by or for doing readings, I mean all that esoteric junk about the Hebrew Letters, Qabalistic associations, Astrological meanings etc. I've been studying Astrology for three years now with a professional Astrologer. Traditional Japanese Reiki (very different from what most think is Reiki). Chaos Magick (which can cover most anything), and more recently a lot of serious work around Ceremonial Magick.
What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? A Stranger in a Strange Land. It may be fiction, but the spiritual view of the main character is close to mine, and helped kick me into this path. The Dhammapada. ...Books are hard to say, cause there are so many that help make a piece here or there in my path. I guess "Sources" can include things like the Vipassana teachings of Sri Goenka. Vipassana has been the best meditation I've found, and helped cement in my experience the irreality of my being. I'd also include the House I work with, because it may be a bit scattered right now, but has still been a great source of thought.
What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? One time at a rave (I never use drugs, I'm an old skool raver, it's all about my skill to enter alternate states of consciousness, not some chemical's ability) I danced until I fell into a trance (which apparently lasted nearly an hour), in which I had the most amazing experience of being with Mother Kali. It's personal, long, and sounds a bit weird to put here.
What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? Anything that is wholly true without encompassing anything else.
List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. You're all following it, you just don't realize it yet :-p Some believe that Pantheistic Solipsism is the basis of Buddhism (yes), Hinduism (yes), Judaism (perhaps), Christianity (perhaps), Islam (perhaps), and Western Hermetic Magick (perhaps) The name Pantheistic Solipsism was popularized in a book about a Martian man named Michael.
What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? Too long to go into.
List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. www.sacred-texts.com http://gesigewigus.livejournal.com/ :-p
Okay, now two hours over due for bed...lets see how this look in the light of day :-p

What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? I have a complicated religion, it's... kind of my own. I believe in god, but as a mortal being, I couldn't know witch god. Afterall, even bible was fritten by a human. I don't want to take a risk to put my faith on something false, but I do believe that there is someone higher force, looking after us. I also believe in the law of Karma.
What are the central ideas in this path? We'll, as it's made up by me, I'll just list some of my ways of life here;
-I don't do drugs, use alcohol, or even smoke.
-I won't interfere with other peoples lives, lifestyles, believes... and I expect them not to interfere mine.
-I respect those people, who earns my respect.
-I am not a judge. If someone kills, commits a suicide, eats without using a fork, anything... if it doesn't personally affect me, it's not my problem, not enough to make me complain.
-I hate people more than I like them. Guees you could say I'm some sort of misantroph, if I spelled that right. I don't care about people and what happens to them, I care only my man and my 2 sisters. When walking at the town, I smile only to those who are pure and unaware of how bad things are; to children under 3 years old.
What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? Simply: You are your only god. Trust no one 100%. Even god can't promise you wealth and good life, it's all up to you. Praying for... something, someone.. makes you feel good and safe, but stay realistic and take care of yourself by yourself.
Why have you taken this path over all others? Because it's the only thing I believe in.
What events in your past led you to this path? Oww... gonna be a long story ...
When I was 13, I suffered of cronic angina (don't know if spelled that right). It is an infection in throath. After a long waiting, I got a surgery to fix what was causing the disease. After this, (early january 2000) I got a fever. I was in bad condition, and my mom got fustrated. she called to doctors, and they said, "yes, it's perfecty normal that after the surgery there will be some fever". I had fever, I couldn't breathe normally, My throath hurt, I couldn't speel because of the pain...
THEN, my mom started to panic. She took her old sleeping meds, old recipe painkillers, psyche meds... and she fed them to me. I hardly was there then, but I remember it... I couldn't move, she just stuck them in my mouth and poured water to get them down... and I fell asleep.
I slept for a week. And here's the actual answer to the question: I flew. During that week, I remember myself at times falling trough my bed, rolling through the wall, atached to the ceiling... I remember myself being standing next to my sleeping body, watching myself...
I believe in what I see, and I know what I believe in.
What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? Sorry, I have a bit lame english. I don't quite get this question.
What do you feel are your strengths in your path? The truth. I have been dead, and I know not to be afraid of it.
What are your weaknesses? For honestly, nothing. From the other side, I noticed that there are more reasons to be afraid of in this world.
What do you like most about your path? Every single thing.
What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? I couldn't say. All I've experienced are OBE's, and some telepathy between my sisters. I can't really say to dislike anything.
What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? OBE, telepathy.
What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? I don't read, nor trust human written books. You need to face these things. Not hear/read them from somewhere.
What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? Can't forget any of those moments, when I was out of my body.
What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? Couldn't say nothing to that.
List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. While OBE, you can't die. Unless something happens to your sleeping body. All people has OBE in every singe night as they sleep- they just can't memorize it. What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? I think it would be atheism. But I wouldn't keep myself as an atheist, because I believe in some god.
List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. I haven't looked for links, again, everything are written by human beings.... but I could add some here later when I have time, in few days.
I apologize my english... it is not my main language.
Oh, and thank you for taking me in the guild.

What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? Um...I just call it pagan, for now. I'm not really practicing.
What are the central ideas in this path? Once again, I'm not really practicing. Pretty much just be a good person and only be mean to people if they deserve it.
What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? There is definitely magick, Gods, etc. I don't know. XD It's just a vague sort of there right now.
Why have you taken this path over all others? Because I want to be in control of what I believe in and I don't want anyone else telling me what's true and what's not. I want to believe and practice in what I want to and not have someone over my shoulder telling me it's been done such and such way for hundreds of years.
Also, I want a religion that no one has to die for. It seems like every big thing that happens in the bible someone has to die for it and I don't like that.
What events in your past led you to this path? I used to be a mormon, born and raised. Then I went to a mormon college and they kicked me out because my roommate didn't like me. That was when I started questioning things. For a while I was just agnostic, but for a while I lived in a small one bedroom apartment with my cat, and weird stuff started happening. I would see the shadows moving on their own and one night woke up with a dark shape over me and glowing red eyes. I always felt so negative in my apartment, especially when I got really sick. I did everything I could think of, then turned to paganism, and it worked the best, but I really hadn't been on the path long enough to be able to banish whatever was there. Ended up moving, but yeah. I believe.
What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? Um....I dunno. XD
What do you feel are your strengths in your path? That I can be myself and still have some form of spirituality.
What are your weaknesses? It's not very defined yet and I'm not really practicing. I have a nosy roommate and I found her digging through my things so I don't want to have anything here. I'm moving soon!
What do you like most about your path? Probably the same as my strengths. I also like that even though I don't have much in my apartment I can at least meditate.
What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? That I...haven't had a chance to do much with them yet.
What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? Feeling power, actually.
What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? I don't really have books. :0
What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? The first time I smudged all of the entrances to my apartment and sprinkled salt. I just felt powerful and at peace, and the apartment felt peaceful and brighter for a whole three days.
What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? Nothing to say here. Everyone has their own beliefs and as long as they're happy, it doesn't matter, really.
List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. Ahahaha it's not being practiced very well right now.
What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? Christianity I don't like so much, the concepts bother me. Everything else I don't have a problem with.
List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like.I don't remember. I lost all of my links when my old computer crashed. :0

What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? Ecclectic or individualist wicca. Or as I call it Gredian Wicca
What are the central ideas in this path? Remaining in close bonds and balance with the world and universe around us. Bettering ourselves and our world through our thoughts and practices.
What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? Magic is the interaction between our soul, the energies that make it up, and the primal energy of the sun contained within our bodies and the world that surrounds it, physical, spiritual, and (For lack of a better word) ethereal. Humanity is only one of many creatures and beings that make up the planes that we call home, but we are lucky enough to know of our existance. I don't know, becuase I have little practice with speaking to other non-linguistic animalsor beings, if animals or the gibberish speaking beings even know that they exist. But I have been and probably will be one of them so I'm no better, only lucky this time around. Death brings us to a world to await our next life, unless our soul already possses all the experince or knowledge this world has to offer in which case it goes on to a higher plane of reality we cannot fathom, or maybe we can but I haven't tried. The only gods that I have felt are the Lord and Lady "of the isles." But that doesn't mean there aren't others who have yet to have spoken to me.
Why have you taken this path over all others? It called to me. I never searched for it. I was a Christian rejectant atheist until I found a book detailing gardarian Wicca. From then on my path evolved itself.
What events in your past led you to this path? Actually Gaia played a role in it. Someone posted a thread with the title and I qoute "Wicca is a religiuon to." Obviously not the brightest indvidual but they had a link to the website I now have linked in my signature. After having read that I got interested in it...but only long enough to find somethng else to research. Then I found the book on gardarian wicca, read it, and thought about it. For months I thought and thought until I actually began to feel the lady trying to speak to me. The rest is history.
What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? The Reed, the threefold rule, and my rule of humanity. Do only what you believe to be in the best intrest of you and those that love you.
What do you feel are your strengths in your path? Peace, Magic, acceptance.
What are your weaknesses? FINDIND THE TIME OR PLACE TO DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!!! (City gal)
What do you like most about your path? That I feel something beyond this world for the first time. Something that makes living worth it and life worth protecting.
What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? How easy it is to ruin lives with it.
What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in? Divination, protection, curses (Used resposably of course), and healing.
What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? The only sources I value are my soul, the guidance of the Lord and Lady, The LOVING guidance of others, The feelings of my loved ones, and my own personal Grimiore.
What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? One night I was blessing a dagger for my friend (He is obsessive about keeping everything cleansed and I'm the only one he knows that knows how.) When a shooting star shot over. That was pretty and all but from under the trees where it "fell" (Passed over) a black fox bolted out chased by a young boy. (ten maybe twelve) For some reason the whole experinced felt so magical that that is what symbolizes magic to me.
What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? That souls are playthings for the practitioners amusment, that life is fleeting, or that responsablilty is without value.
List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. Yes sex is a form of magic. Magick with a K sounds unneccicary to me. The closest bond this world knows is between lovers and parents to children, but all relationships are powerful and unique in their own manner.
What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? Christianity and Islam both have perverted their own religions. They've turned peaceloving and caring (Albeit a bit closed minded) religions into hate mongering centers of violence. Of course this isn't true for all but it really is sad what has become of the religions at large. Judaism has become the largest religion I know almost nothing about besides my studies as a young christian. Hinduism and buddism are beautiful but both misunderstood and mocked by the populace at large. I haven't ever heard of sikhism so I'll have to look into that. Don't know near enough about Shinto to say anything. And Wicca is both abused and over popularized by teenaged americans.
List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like. The one in my signature. The loving earth newsletter. My local Wiccan Coven (Which I am no longer a member of). Unfortunately that's all I have. But world of information can come from those places.

Hello.... I'm bored so I'm going to fill this out. xD What is the name of your path/faith/religion, if any? I would not really say that I have a religion, but I'm spiritual, but mostly wicca if you have to categorize me. What are the central ideas in this path? What is your/your path's opinions on magick? Psionics? The occult? Humanity? Gods? Nature? The soul? Death? Any other major opinions? What is your path's opinion of itself? It's very confusing, but I do believe in godS <--- Notice the S. xD I believe in reincarnation, also.... Why have you taken this path over all others?I can't really answer that question. I just do what my soul tells me to do, I don't really know why I do it. confused What events in your past led you to this path?Well, one day in school, all of my friends told me that they were a witch, or believes in ghosts. And they were all separate. It was weird, in just ONE day they ALL told me. I asked them why they told me, calmly, I was not freaking out, I understood. So they told me my energy seemed healing, and that they could trust me with advice and such. But, alas, I just started practicing.... What are your principles/philosophies when it comes to your path? I do not really base them in a way.... this is a very confusing question. I'll come back later when I have an answer. What do you feel are your strengths in your path?Healing and shielding.... and I have knowledge that I never learned. xD What are your weaknesses? I don't know yet, but I want to find out. xD I think I can't really cast other spells, but I'm not that sure of it. What do you like most about your path? I get to help people feel better, it helps them be happy. And when they're happy, I'm happy. What do you dislike most about magick & psionics in general? Some people use it for the wrong purposes, and use it for greed and evil. I find it quite wrong, I'd never use it for just out of greed. What areas of magick/psionics/your path have you expertise in?What do you think? XD Healing, chakra knowledge, and spirits, or gohosts. Shadows. What five books (or other sources) do you value above all else when it comes to your path? I can't really read books like these, my parents don't know. I'm only a child still... but I've read Scott Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Metal, Crystal, and Stone Magic...... What is your most memorable moment in regards to your path? I woke up with a necklace around my neck. It is a metal dragon holding a black pearl or opal in it's tail, held up with a simple cord. I wear it everyday now, but my friend from California said she gave it to me EVEN BEFORE I asked her. I live in Ohio, as well, and she did not send it by mail. What occult-related ideas don't you believe in or agree with? Satanism. xD And bad magick users...... List three odd, unknown and/or interesting facts about your path. 1. I'm confused with what I do. 2. I have this really weird interest with vampyres. 3. I never healed anyone in my life before. crying Besides a far away one with the friend in California. What are your paths views on Christianity? Islam? Judaism? Hinduism? Buddhism? Sikhism? Shinto? Wicca? Everyone can have the religions they want. List a few (about five or six) links to more information about your path, or links that contain information you read, use as a resource, or the like.
