Waterfall Prayer
Soft, gentle, misting water falling upon my face
Its cool, weightless drops penetrate all surfaces of my skin
Tall, majestic, and powerful does it stand
Soaking up its beauty, I stand in awe
Hardly believing the delicacy of its Maker's craftsmanship
The soft roar that comports a restless soul
Floods into my ever-listening ears
Could the same decisive hands that created this wonder
Be the same careful hand that delicately crafted me
Just as the giant, gentle roaring waterfall
I am beautiful in my Maker's eyes
I am His child; Christ's child
Its cool, weightless drops penetrate all surfaces of my skin
Tall, majestic, and powerful does it stand
Soaking up its beauty, I stand in awe
Hardly believing the delicacy of its Maker's craftsmanship
The soft roar that comports a restless soul
Floods into my ever-listening ears
Could the same decisive hands that created this wonder
Be the same careful hand that delicately crafted me
Just as the giant, gentle roaring waterfall
I am beautiful in my Maker's eyes
I am His child; Christ's child
