As you come up the stairs from the lower floor you are met by a light breeze. The pool is surrounded by tables and chairs that are nicely shaded by large umbrellas as well as lounge chairs for sun bathing. To your right is the girl’s changing room and to your left is the boy’s changing room; both fully supplied with lavish soaps, freshly washed Egyptian cotton towels, and a wet sauna.
The pool itself goes from 1m {3.3ft} to 1.5m (4.9ft) on a soft slope then at a slightly steeper slope to 2.7m (8.8ft). It is fully equipped with low and high diving boards. On the 1m end of the pool there are stairs that run the full width of the pool with handle bars every 2m (6.6ft) and at the 2.7m end of the pool there is a ledge that people can stand on at that is 1.5m deep and goes out 45cm (1.5ft). Although it does have lane markers it does not have starting blocks. This pool is meant to be used solely for entertainment purposes, but can be used by the swimming team.
On the far side of the rooftop is a large spa that can fit well over 20 people. On either side are two buildings, one is purely meant for storing all of the pool equipment, such as kickboards, life jackets, water weights, and toys. The other building is houses all of the maintenance equipment for the pool and is always locked.

The previous day's events had bothered Yukimi and she didn't get good sleep that night. When she got to school she decided to relax up at the roof top pool (as water relaxes her).
When she got up there she was glad to see that no one else was there, she would be alone for the time being.
She got changed into her one-piece swim suit, it was black with a gold Ouran High School crest printed in the lower left corner on the front. She decided not to wear a swim cap as that is uncomfortable with the amount of hair she has and she came up here to relax.
Yukimi began by diving into the pool and swimming a few laps but then rolled over onto her back to float for a while. Her hair looked like tendrils moving about, grabbing at things that weren't there.
Terrence is so oblivious, even after I was told that the 'engagement' was a lie I was still upset and he did nothing. I guess he truly fits in as a 'host', arrogant and self centered. But perhaps I am too harsh on that host club, Ryuu is a member and he was so kind to me.
Ryuu...I wonder what he truly thinks of me, first he said he's my 'friend' and then he said 'he didn't want me to leave'. Words contradict words. His actions confuse me even more. I was completely baffled when he kissed my forehead. That could be taken so many ways.
To add more confusion to my life there is his sister, Keiko. Where did she come from? What did I do to her, she accuses me of being Ryuu's girlfriend, not that I would mind that, but why did she choose me?
To make matters worse, I sensed that shutter bug, Minowa, from the newspaper club lurking around the host club yesterday. No matter how much he begs I will NOT join the newspaper club, it would mean the end of my novelist career.
Life has gotten so complicated now that I am in high school, I just want to run away and hide again. People only seem to add problems.
Yukimi closed her eyes and tried to clear her mind of all her troubles, at least just for a little while.

Some shrill laughter rang out as several girls entered the pool area. They were chattering away in quick and hushed words.
"YEA! I HEARD! I didn't read it yet! Did you Maribela?"
The girl that the question was directed to shook her head. "Nope." she said cutely. "I'm still looking for a copy of the news print. Gosh, I don't even remember when was the last time I read the paper!"
The girls bursted into giggles.
"The story and rumors are going about the school." Said a third girl.
The second girl nodded as she bubbled out of the water. "ah!" She caught her breath, "Yea I asked the Twins about the PA thing, they said it wasn't them."
"REALLY?! I totally thought it was them! They always pull mean tricks like that!"
"Oh yea they do! "
Their chatter died down as they began laps around the pool.

Keiko pulled up her hair as she came out of the girl's changing room.
Why does this pool have to be on the roof?
Not noticing Yukimi she made her way over to the spa. "Ryuu sure has been acting odd recently," She said to herself, "He keeps making excuses of why we can't spend time together." She sat on the edge of the spa letting her legs get used to the hot water. "I wonder if he really has found someone." The very idea of Ryuu with a girl (or even a boy for that matter) made Keiko's blood boil. "No, Keiko don't think such horrible things."
Keiko lowered herself in to the water. "It's that stupid club. If he wasn't in that stupid Host Club then he'd have more time to spend with me."
Some girls walking by caught Keiko's attention. "Did you see poor Ryuu this morning?" One girl asked another.
"Yeah he looked so down, something must really be bugging him."
"Bugging him?" Keiko thought allowed once the girls had passed. "I wonder what happened after I left yesterday. He was so happy before."

Yukimi just laid back as a group of girls walked by, but when she heard a familiar voice she lifted her head to see who it was. When she noticed it was Keiko a devious smile stretched across her face.
She couldn't resist confronting Keiko again.
"What's bugging him is you and the Yakuza side of your family," Yukimi said, still within the water of the pool.

"What!" Keiko shouted as she jumped up, she climbed out of the spa and headed towards the pool. When she saw it was Yukimi she sneered, "My brother would never turn his back from family." She tossed her hair. "But I can't say the same for just a friend." She made sure to put emphases on friend. "You'll see, he'll choose the family in the end, and there is nothing a little witch like you could do to stop it." Keiko knelt down close to Yukimi, "I'll make sure of that."

"Friend? Yesterday you were accusing me of being his Girlfriend. And I never said he would turn his back on his family, but it is his family that is tearing him in two," Yukimi said with a wicked grin.
Lightening shot between the eyes of Yukimi and Keiko. No one would dare try to say anything to these two at this point for fear of being eaten alive.
Yukimi grabbed Keiko by the hair and dragged her into the pool face first. When Keiko resurfaced Yukimi said, "Regardless of whatever my relationship with Ryuu is, I wouldn't dare try to separate him from his family, he cares about you too much. You care about him too much to a creepy point though."

At this point Keiko was steaming. What does she know. She's just like all of those other girls. At least she'll have a nice surprise for her in the locker room.
Keiko took in a deep breath to calm herself she couldn't do anything that would compromise the family's plans. "Do you love him?" She asked bluntly.

Yukimi glared at the girls giggling then turned back to Keiko.
"To be honest, I like him a lot, I don't know if it is love or not, but I do like him very much," Yukimi said only loud enough for Keiko to hear, "I think I've been here long enough, enjoy your swim, I hope you bleached hair doesn't turn green from the chlorine."
Yukimi strode out of the pool and into the women's locker room, her wicked smile still across her face.

"Hmm. So you do like him." Keiko said to herself as Yukimi left. "I hope you enjoy your little surprise after you wash your hair. I know Ryuu hates my bleached hair. We'll see what he thinks once your hair is bleached as well."
Keiko got out of the pool dried herself and sat in one of the pool chairs waiting for a scream from the changing room.

"She's mean ain't she?" sneered one girl.
"Shush! Don't get involved." the group of girls giggled some more and got out of the pool deciding to sun bathe.
"I dont care what everyone else says! The face that Ryuu is from the Yakuza only makes him more attractive! I love the savage type!" one girl said with a giggle and a sigh.
"Ryuu, will always be The Man!" said the second.
The third girl laid out her towel, " I dunno if Ryuu is capable of such things, he seems so...understanding and nice." she said holding her cheek as she lowered herself.

When Yukimi got into the changing room she grabbed her shampoo, and headed into the shower. Her head felt like it was burning. Grabbing at her hair she saw it was bleached. It was all that she could do to not scream, she refused to give Keiko that satisfaction.
Two can play this game, Keiko, I wont have to wait for Yamamura to get me those pictures, I'll get to see you with black hair in person.
Yukimi made sure to bleach every last strand and then poured the remaining bleach down the drain. She then went over and grabbed her black hair dye, which she used to keep her hair perfectly black and replaced Keiko's shampoo with the dye.
Yukimi got changed and left as though nothing had happened, she would dye her hair back to black that night anyway.

Keiko waited a little bit longer. "Hmm not a peep. Maybe I put it in the wrong bottle. Oh well." Keiko made her way to the changing room and grabbed her stuff. "Oh why did she have to pull me in the water now I have to wash my hair."
Keiko quickly washed her hair. She then looked down at the floor and saw black water flowing in to the drain. Her eyes widened and she ran to the mirrors. Her hair was stark black. "That b***h!" She screamed, "I'll get her back." Keiko finished getting dressed. "I just need to find my brother."
