Name: Hari
Mood: Adventurous.

Both of his fathers not paying attention to him, gave him the perfect opportunity to sneak away. Thank god for siblings. He was old enough now that he could wonder on his own, or at least that's how he felt. His short legs carried him fast as he ran towards some nice tall grassy area. Much taller then where they had been. Good place to hide and find hidden things. His tail wagged as he reached closer and closer to it. Stopping every so often to look back to see if they had noticed.

Piece of cake! He was in the clear. Now that the grass was right in front of him, and his family still not noticing. This was great! No one was there to stop or tell him what to do or not to. He quickly hopped into the tallest patch he could find. Wiggling through it as though he was a detective trying to solve a mystery.

He carefully picked up a broken stick to investigate it. "What is this?" He asked as he looked at the broken part. Pretending there was some type of substance on it. He tossed it aside as he figured it was useless and had nothing to do with his little adventure. Going on, he found a strange looking bug. It was long with a small head and long legs. Green, and with wings yet they were tucked away under it's shell. A praying mantis, though, he wouldn't know that. He'd never seen one before. He hopped out of it's view as if it was going to attack him, and the sneaked up on it. It wouldn't know what hit it! He pounced at the grass, only to make the bug fly off into the air.

Damn. Where was his fun now? He pouted for a few moments then decided he would have to look for another adventure. He popped his head out of the grass just in case they had called his name, yet his family seemed to still be busy with each other. Perfect. There was still time to wonder around and explore this wonderful world. Though, he would have to get back soon before they even noticed he was missing. He didn't want to get into trouble.

His mind changed the moment he caught eye of a tiny mouse. A play toy! He jumped at the creature before he, or it, even realized what happened. Though, the mouse was much quicker then he and ran off in the opposite direction. He quickly followed. "Where are you going? I just want to play!" he said in a playful voice. Of course this would get fun! No reason it wouldn't be! His tail continued to wag as he went.

Soon he found himself no where near where his parents were... Lost. He sat down and looked about. Well, this couldn't be too bad? Could it? His ears went down and he just stared around... Forgetting which way he had come from. Well, it was behind him right? He turned around and started walking the same direction he had thought he had came. Sure enough, he found his way back out of the tall grass.

His family still there not noticing he had left still. Looking his siblings were fighting taking up his parent's attention. Just like before he had left. So it hadn't been all that time at all.. He had bits of grass sticking out of his fur here and there, as if he had rolled in some wheat grass or something. He slowly walked back to his parents, one days adventure over. The next was to come shortly.

I’m just going to call him Aero because it makes life easier. 8D

Aero looked about, it was a large field. He looked over at Burbuja and Drake, they’re paws were full with keeping the rest of his siblings in line. Perfect! They wont notice that I’m gone… Aero took off like a rocket, a quiet one so that they didn’t hear him leave. Aero stopped when he thought he was far enough from everyone. He sat down and searched for any rabbits or bunnies that had strayed far away from their family like he had. Sadly he saw none, he was hoping he could catch one and prove he was a capable adult. He decided that eyes can deceive him so he sniffed the air, but all he could smell was himself and the rest of his family whom weren’t there. Bleh, this wasn’t as fun as I hoped it would be! Aero wandered off even farther, hoping he might come across a stream or something, perhaps he could catch a fish instead.
From the corner of his eye he saw something sparkle. Yes! It was a stream, just like he had hoped for. Aero walked closer to it, it was more like a river and the water was flowing pretty strongly. He hunched his back a little and peered into the dark water, he couldn’t see anything.
“What a waste of time this has been!” Aero turned to leave but his paw slipped and he fell backwards and into the river. Now, Aero could swim but this was more then just a stream and the current was rather strong so even for a swimmer he would have difficulty. At the surface of the water he gurgled and yelped, trying to stay a float. But he didn’t call for help; he had too much pride to do that. Aero managed to get close to the edge as the river narrowed and he grabbed a hold of some long grass growing at the bank with one of his paws. Slowly and with much difficulty he climbed out of the water. He was drenched, tired to the bone, and he hoped that there wasn’t anyone near by that could see him right now, at least not someone that would blabber about it and never drop the topic. Using the last of his energy he crawled away from the “evil” river and coughed whatever water he had swallowed. Aero spat out something that was in his mouth, luckily he hadn’t swallowed it because he had no idea what it even was. Laying there, flopping around every once in a while was a small fish, it silver scales glistened in the sun.
“Okay, drowning was so not worth this.” Aero threw the fish some where; not very far though because he still wanted it, and laid down to rest his aching body. His breathing had finally slowed and he was panting like before. “I do not deserve to drown just because I wandered off!” Aero’s energy soon came back to him. He rolled on to his stomach; he was bored now, so much for his big adventure. Aero waited a moment the got up, he picked up the fish with his mouth and started to trot. “Your brash nature has gotten you in trouble again!” He could just imagine one of his siblings saying. Aero pouted then his tail twitched and he stopped in his tracks. He was lost. Aero scampered around, he couldn’t be lost! Did the current really pull him that far away from everyone else? Aero pouted, the last thing he wanted was a search party on the look out for his whereabouts, he wasn’t some little kid that needed to be looked after. Aero stuck his nose in he air trotting in a random direction, trying to look dignified and not lost. After about a minute Aero sat down and dropped the fish. He gave a small wail, one he didn’t want people to here. “I’m lost!!!” Aero flailed his arms a bit, he didn’t want to throw a big tantrum and look like some sissy, at least he was dry now. Aero finally stopped to listen, his ear twitched. He had thought he had heard some one.
“Alright, time for a head count!” Aero grabbed the fish and looked over a small hill. It was indeed his family! Aero hopped up once in joy then pranced on over to them. They didn’t finish counting so he was included in that four. “Say… where you get that fish?” One of them asked. Aero grinned and puffed up his chest.
“I caught it!” Some looked skeptical and sarcastically said: “right, sure.” They began to leave, heading for home. “Hey! Wait for me!” Aero left boastful and proud mode and scampered after them, happy he was finally with his family again, perhaps he wasnt an adult yet, but that was alright, he enjoyed being just a pup, because wandering off from everyone else isn’t as fun when your big!

The emerald grasses swayed slightly in the pleasent breeze that has picked up slightly as the day began to progress. The sun is high and bright, but the air was perfect as could be. We join Burbuja and Drake as they usher their little pups in to the wide expance for some out door play time...

"Butbutbut... I don't want to play! I want to explore..." Dealing with pups was a wonder but most of the time the two parents had to deal with constant whining and begging. In this instance, it was there little red, white and blue speckled boy.

"No. You have to stay with the others son. Can't you be content with that?" Letting a paw drift to his forhead, Burbuja leaned up against Drake and sighed.

"But!" Complaining seemed to be a constant with the children, but this boy seemed to be at the brunt of it all.

"No Saji. Burbuja said no, deal with it and go play. Anyways, you're not old enough to go out on your own." Letting his mate lean up against him, Drake tried to make sure that the little male knew his place.

Both males watched as Saji stalked off to his siblings clearly upset with his parents.
----

Now as everyone one knows, the young do not always do as they are told... and this case is not different. For as soon as his fathers were not looking, Saji quickly made a swift excape deeper in the meadow. His little paws carrying him to the small corpse of trees all a buzz with the calls of bugs.

"Wow! ... Hey come back here mister hoppy!" The little male sprung after the grasshopper as fast as his legs could take them. Only when the 'hopper bounced into a hole in the base of a tree did Saji stop to pant. Never before had he disobeyed his fathers, but he was starting to find out that it might lead to fun.

----

While the speckled pup spent the rest of the day playing with the bugs of the thicket, his parents were worried over having lost him.

"SAJI? SAJI!" Burbuja searched the peremiter of the area where the rest of the kits were playing, trying franticly to find his little boy.

"Don't worry, we'll find him." Picking himself up, Drake began to help Burbuja search for their child.

--------

The sun was starting to descend as Saji picked himself up from the ground and began the trek back to the area in which the rest of his family was settled.
"They probably didn't notice I was gone."
But as soon as he appeared and his parents saw him, he knew that that was definitally not the case. In moments the little male was swept up into both parents arms and fussed over.

"Saji where were you? You had both of us worried to the end and back!"

Confused because of the sudden fussing, Saji gave the answer that popped up into his mind.

"I just wanted to show you I was a big boy..." Pausing for a second, the little male got side tracked, ".. Did you know that Mister Hoppers can hop really high? I mean touch the sky high!"

Drawing laughter from his fathers further confused the lad, but he thought nothing of it as he was hurded away with the rest of his siblings....

Prompt 1
Burbuja and Drake take the pups to play in a grassy field, but this little fellow decides hes a big boy now and wanders off.

Explain what he would do. 8D

Rin snorted his distaste in the direction of his fathers. They really thought he could be entertained by something this boring? Even though his sibilings could provide some entertainment, it wasn't for very long, and even then it wasn't anything more than them doing something stupid. He sighed as he flopped onto his soft furry belly and laied his paws on his head to watch, just like he knew his fathers would.

After a while, he raised to a sitting position where he scratched an annoying itch behind his ear. Almost as annoying as being stuck here with these guys.... He thought, a smirk on his face. A plan was forming in his fuzz-covered head as he shouted to his family, "Hey! Who wants to play hide-and-go-seek?" He smiled the same mischevious smile as one after the other his sibilings chimed in and his fathers smiled at each other and nodded. It was decided who would seek, and all of the kits bolted in different directions. Rin ran as fast as he could on his gangly legs until he was out of breath, and he continued on at a slower pace.

His head was on a swivel as he gazed at the woven canopy of tree leaves that he had wandered into, and stumbled over a small root that was sticking out of the soil. He glared at the impudent thing, and put his nose to the ground to sniff out an adventure. Rin's fluffy little tail wagged slowly as he came face-to-nose with a toad. He pulled his head back as fast as he could as it croaked and hopped sluggishly into a small pond he had only yet noticed.

Rin's throat only now began to feel its true thirst as he slurped the slowly trickling water, and when he raised his head to find the toad, he noticed how dark it had become. He shied away slightly and hesitantly started back towards the clearing, spooked at every sound, jumping and jittery when he heard the hoot of an owl. Rin began to jog as the light faded more and more, and faster still when there was a rustling behind him.

He slowed and came to a stop as he ploped down next to a tree, thinking all was lost. However, he nearly jumped out of his skin when the face of his beaming sister appeared from behind the trunk, exhubarant as ever and saying something about his turn to be "it". He followed her slowly as she pranced her way back to the medow, so proud to have found her brother, and little Rin was just glad to have been found, knowing he'd never do that again....

Name: Jayden
Mood: Audacious

Jayden peered over at his fathers. They were in a jumble
of flailing paws. He smirked, facing a forest full of lush, green
trees. He took one step forward, and took one last look at Barbuja
and Drake, then he was off on his journey. Slinking throughout the
grass, hoping not to be seen. His colors didn't support him much,
though. A speck of blue and red in a flood of green. Jayden could
very easily be spotted by one of his parents or siblings. Just as he
reached the row of trees before him, he let out a small sigh. He
was only about 50 yards away from his parents, still enough to
be seen, but they probably wouldn't be looking for him anyway.

Finally in the forest, Jayden started looking around
for something fun to do. He saw a small rat scurrying away from
all of the noise he was making. Jayden got in a position, ready to
lunge. Soon after, he pounced with great speed. "Gotcha!" He
shouted, before remembering he had snuck off. He peered into
a small crevice between his two paws. Nothing. No struggle,
no anything. Jayden carefully released his grip, and found
a small maple leaf. "Ugh..." He was quite disappointed that
he hadn't caught the rat. Oh well, he thought. Suddenly,
he heard twigs cracking in the distance. Coming from the
entrance of the forest. Jayden gasped softly, and ran around
frantically. He finally found a large tree and hid behind it.
"JAYDEN!" He heard Barbuja's voice, along with a few others.
A few of his siblings, and one of his father's had come searching
for him. Jayden felt warm inside as he jumped out from crouching
the tree. "I'm right here," He said softly, a bit of shame in his voice.
They all traveled back to Drake and the others. Everybody crowded
around and asked him why. He didn't answer any of their questions.
He couldn't. He didn't know why he had done it. He hadn't really
been upset, or even angry. Seeing that Jayden was confused,
Barbuja and Drake were nice enough to skip the subject, and get
back to playing games. Jayden was quite relieved.
After all of that adventure, Jayden was content with
playing games along side of his family. He was just happy to know
they cared about him.

((Hope this is ok, I prefer not to take controle of someones characters, hence why I am not posting as either of these wonderful fathers. YAY SAME SEX PARENTS/COUPLES!! Sorry, I find there is way to much prejuduce there and I needed to congratulate them in some way. Good luck all!!))

Silence, definetly not! With Daddy, and Dad taking care of his brothers and sisters well, he was BORED! Sticking close to everyone was no fun, and the day outside the protective circle of parenthood seeped with it. Fun and adventure that is, as every unexplored crevice does to the eyes of a child. His ears rang with the distant sounds, but how could he get to it. He had taken a seat, and was intently watching the tall grass sway this way and that. It was mezmerising, and he wondered what creatures he could duel within, what treasure he could find, and what an adventure in itself it would be, if he could just to get there. Because, of course, he was big enough, he didnt need to be watched like a box anymore, he was all grown up. Even laying down, he puffed out his chest with pride, at his self proclamed bigness.

Fate was with obvously with the adventure seeking pup this day, for all of the sudden he heard an ear splitting wail. With a wince he turned his head, and saw his family totaly ingrosed in comforting the screaming young one. Bingo! This was his chance, he looked towards the grass, then back towards his family. With a single move, and with the energy his younge body contained he had bounded to his feet and towards the waving grass.

It wasn't until he felt the dryness scratch his underbelly, and the light crunch of long passed dead grass was under him that he relized he had closed his eyes in his mad dash to adventure and freedom. Slowly one cracked open, and then the other in silent aww of what was around him, FREEDOM!! He let out a whop, of joy but quickly hushed himself, looking back in the direction he assumed he had come and listening to see if they had noticed his absence.

Nothing but a slowly dieing wail, good. He licked his lips and began to slowly bound from hidden rocks in the dead grass. "Whoa, carefull Captain, there be sharks in them there waters." He made a soft sound as as one of his paws slipped into the dead grass, and a mouse tail popped out from underneath. "See captain, I told you. Look, there be one of them now." He said as he increased his speed threw the deadened grass, argueing with the captain only he could see. It didnt seem long to him before the grass had thinned out, to the point he could see the woods that had slowly began to surround him like an aproaching enemy. "LAND HO!" He screamed, as he jumped out of the grass, and onto a barely covered hill, the moist ground coating his paws in dirt.

The forest was different then the sea of grass had been, a whole new world to discover. Now, burried treasure time, he had to follow the captain. Wait, what was that? A flash of green had crossed his path, and a grashopper apeared to be the source of the disturbence, and change in the train of thought. He smiled, as he mock growled at the beast, he had changed it to in his mind. "Its a dragon, get the dragon!!" With a bound he launched into the air, clods of dirt falling from his paws like rain, but before he landed the 'dragon' bounded away. "I will slay you dragon, now. GET BACK HERE!!" And as such, the chase continued with a bound, and a miss, again, and again this happened until the enevitable. As he bounded, he prey disapeared into seemingly nothingness, and he let out a aww that drenched the air with disapointment only a child could contain. "Magic dragon," He mumbled sadly, kicking a rock into the air to land somewhere in the distance.

He sighed, and began to look around for something to do, but the sun had begun to dip low in the sky. And shadows began to creep, and take on the eary tint that was usally hidden by the light of day. He took a step back as he found himself standing in one of this pools of darkness. His eyes were wide, and his voice shook as he spoke to himself. "I... Im not scared. I.. Im a big boy, I... I.." But his words were choked off by a strangled cry as he heard a stick break in the far distance. But of course the sound seemed so loud, so strange, so bad. He shook, and tears began to roll down his face, even though he didnt want to cry. "DADDY!!" He wailed as he took of down a single trail that lay near him.

His paws pounded the ground, alomost as fast as his heart did against his ribs. Someone must have been watching over him for that path ran right back to his family, as soon as he saw a glimps of fur and worried faces he darted into the open, where sunlight, hope, and love still reined. And he tried to dry his tears before he reached them, pure joy upon his face.

Burbuja and Drake take the pups to play in a grassy field, but this little fellow decides hes a big boy now and wanders off.

Explain what he would do. 8D

Name: Nirav
Mood: Upbeat

Nirav quietly snuck away from his papa and father, and when he was a good distance away, he let out a happy whoop and ran, as fast as his legs would carry him. It felt so good to be free. He could do whatever he wanted!
Grinning widely, he hopped onto a small boulder (it looked big to him) and stared out over the grassy field, his eyes sparkling. All this, his for the taking.
Hopping down from the rock, he set out at a slow trot, occasionally chasing after a bunny or a butterfly, but coming back to his path after a moment or two.
It was nice here, all alone in the quiet, nothing but him and his thoughts.

After a few moments, Nirav ran out of interesting thoughts and began to wish he was back with Daddy and Papa, not to mention his siblings.
He turned back, hoping he could just walk the straight line back to the place where his family was, but, unfortunately, his path zigzagged, crossed over itself and went in circles so many times, it was impossible to tell which way led where.
Glancing at the sun, he realized he had been gone longer then he thought. The sun was already high in the sky, and it was hot out there in the middle of a field with no shade.
Letting out a tired whimper, Nirav slowly started back in the way he thought was right, until he came to a boulder he recognized.
Wait.
He recognized it!
It was the right way, after all. Too tired to be happy, he slowly followed the sound of his Papa's voice, until he heard one of his sisters say, "Look, there he is!"
After that, he let out a loud sigh and flopped to the ground, exhausted. The last thing he heard was his sister saying, "Daddy! Papa! I think he's dead!" Before he closed his eyes and settled into the nicest nap he had ever taken.

((Note: I like to RP very much, so you can count on me RPing him quite a bit.
Anyway, good luck everyone! <333 ))

Name: Talis
Mood: affectionate

"Awwwww~, well this isn't too fun." The poor boy of red and blue lay boredly on his tummy, batting at some grass with his paw. As much as he loved family outtings, this location didn't have much to do in it. Talis peeked over to his siblings. They were playing another game of tag-but he was already pooped out from that game. His small eyes glanced over at his mommy and daddy. They were, as always, snuggled close together and enjoying this day out. But what was he too do?

A sigh escaped him, and he stood to stretch his short legs. What to do? Twitching his ears, he padded along the grassy plain. "It sure is plain." Talis didn't understand why they chose to come here, but, no complaining. Skipping happily, Talis walked along a hill in the field, soon getting some distance from himself and his dear family. "Oh uh..." Would he get in trouble? He didn't want to upset daddy or mommy. His short ears twitched, and the boy was distracted by other voices. His siblings? No, they were too far away. Talis stood on hind legs, looking for the place the voices came from. Oh! The young boy spotted two other Ulaya kits playing on the other end of the hill. With a smile, Talis bounced up along the two others, shy and kindly. "Uh, hello! My name is Talis." He wagged his tail as he waited for their names, but they just glared back at him.

"What do you want, Ta-lis?" One of the two boys puffed out, while the other sat back with a smirk. Talis' smile faded off his face, and he tilted his head at the others. "I'm sorry, I thought...maybe we could just play?" Why were they acting so rude? His small eyes stung as tears started to form. "Pfft, we don't play with sissy boys. Sorry." The boys snickered to each other beofre looking back at Tails. "Why don't you run back to your weird mo~mmy?" And they burst out laughing at their our mean words. Talis winced and frowned sadly at the boys. "My mommy is not weird! He's nice and super kind!" Talis didn't understand why they chose to pick on his kind parent. And why they found it enough reason to be mean to him.

"Admit it kid, you're just weird." And the two boys turned to walk away without apology or explanation. Talis blinked while his tears fell, and he watched as the two made to leave. With a whimper, he hopped up and before anyone could say or do anything, Talis gave them a quick hug. He didn't care that they were yelling, calling him strange and what not. But his kind heart simply felt bad that the two boys didn't understand. "I have...a good family." And nothing they said would change that. Quickly, Talis let go and dashed back to the other side of the hill. He wanted another hug now, from his two parents. Dashing forward, he ignored his tears and his parent's worried faces as he snuggled against them. He felt safe and loved; that's all that mattered. "Love you mom, dad."

Name: Ouka
Mood: Curious

A snort of disapproval escaped Ouka's nostrils as he padded along the long grass. It's big green stalks reaching his own height and hiding him. His parents; even if they were the same gender had taken his other siblings out for playtime, but Ouka thought it was more stranger then ever. He wanted to explore, he wanted to create his own little adventure, he wanted freedom. Unsheathing his claws slightly and baring his teeth Ouka trotted around like he was special in a way, escaping his parents and wandering off onto another side of the field.

More movement was running around the grass as if something had haunted it. Ouka growled in disbelief at the movement as he shivered. What could it be? Another ulaya? Or something that would have pleasure to attack him? Ouka stood up all brave and acted as if he was an adult and was powerful, his kit ways fading and making him look like a small adult.

One of is eyes opened to inspect in the area as the movement grew louder every time. Ouka snarled and unsheathed his claws all the way and pounced what was behind more grass, only to be greeted with a small mouse in the way. Killing it quickly and muntching on it quietly Ouka stared ahead and saw another kit. She was probably as young as him juding her appearence., and her fur that glowed a dark red. Ouka saw a flash of greet in her eyes and he returned it with a steady gaze.

"Hello." The male responded slowly with a greet of his head now, bowing like he had just grown into an adult now. He saw the amusement in her eyes and his ears flicked with displeasure now.

"Your funny." She chuckled softly, her body turning and sitting down. He saw that she had groomed herself before she had appeared to him; must have been because she had gotten dirty, and wanted to get clean so she would be polite and beautiful. "So, what's your name?"

Ouka's claws slowly drew in as he hoped she wouldn't see he was sorry that he was almost going to attack her; aside he got the mouse. "Oh, i'm Ouka..." The male smiled with more pleasure. "What's your name?" Ouka said.

"I'm Hanka, wanna play or something?" Hanka smiled too as if she had forgotten that he was acting like a bid old adult.

"Well sure, ok, but be warned, I'm good at any game!" Ouka said standing up and darting through the grass, hoping she was following behind. This would be a great playtime, Ouka hoped that Hanka and him would be friends forever.
