Getting used to the new job is tiring. But, I successfully graduated training yesterday... even got 2 Excellence Reports during the week (which is apparently kick-a**, especially for someone in training). I go to my regular team on Monday, and should start getting into the groove of it all soon.
That's pretty much been my life the past few weeks.
So how are all of you, my dears?

I'm good.
I've been a little busy the last few weeks, with work and spending time with my boy.
But Yay! for progress with the new job. And that sounds amazing for you to do so well in training.
It also bodes well for your future progress.

I've actually had free time lately thanks to typhoons, but I used it to catch up on sleep.
My sleeping pattern has been so fractured this term. xd

Thankies biggrin Glad to hear you're all doing well.
Tink: Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for... forward progress. I actually wouldn't mind getting into the training dept. Off the phones, and teaching. These things would be great.
Azura: Oh trust me, I understand the sleep-thing. I'm still battling with adjusting my schedule. I'm a Creature of the Night, no doubt, and this Daywalker crap is not good for me! crying
Yeah, the whole responsible thing sucks... but I'm already mentally spending the extra cash. xd
Well, I did rather well in training, but not so great yesterday. Not bad, just not great. And I had some jack-a** yell at me for 2 solid minutes because I couldn't find his listing.... not my problem he only gave me Long Island (which is not a town, btw... it's an island that has several town ON it) and there was no listing for what he said he wanted. I technically should have transferred him when he started yelling at me, but it was funny listening to all the names he called me. Plus, I used the break to take a drink and all that. I've been so tempted sometimes, when these people are being particularly difficult, to end the call with "Kthxbai"... or something else just as snarky... but I can't, because IF I'm being monitored... well, yeah. sweatdrop Buh-bye extra cash!
This is certainly not something I want to do with the rest of my life (unless I get into training, maybe), but it's a good way to get back into the job market, get cash to take some online classes, and get a good, recent job reference for finding something else. And in the meantime, I can get a truck, car, clothes and teeth fixed. 3nodding

I'm about to have to start looking gonk I should know around the end of the month if I'll be getting the surgery or not, and I'm about to be done with my GED stuff o.o After that, I will either have to go to college, or get a job. I'm thinking college for art, business, and advertising>.>

I'd love to go back to school, but can't afford it.
Well, I hate the job with a bloody passion... and had to leave early Thursday with a migraine, call in Fri & Sat... was off Sun... and called in yesterday due to leftover tummy troubles and queasiness. So now, in order to go back, I have to get a doctors note. I have a couple interviews at other places later today, and if one of those hires me right on, then good. If not, then I guess I'm making a trip to the ER tonight to get a damned note so I can go back (as much as I REALLY don't want to!) tomorrow.

Well, the good news is I did get hired on at one of them. It's another call center, but it's *actual* customer service. Class starts 9/24, so I have a month off... but it's more pay, better work, and at the end of the 5 week training (good training), I have a chance to take a test to get some kind of license. No, I don't remember what it's for, but any license = more career opportunities. biggrin
