So, I'm in the PX the other day, and one of the 'soldiers' had the oddest rank I've ever seen: Imagine a Captain's bars, but it was black, there were three skinny bars rather than two wide ones, and they were vertical. WTF?

WTF? i could be a warent officer No way. Warrant is one vertical bar with black boxes inside it. The closest I can even think of is...a Korean corporal. Our KATUSAs wear ACUs. But I'm pretty sure Melodave86 would know if the soldier was Korean. lol

I'm telling you, three skinny bars is NOT a warrant officer. I work with Chief Warrant Officers, and their rank is ONE bar with black boxes in it.
None of the ranks on that chart are three skinny black bars either.

None of the ranks on that chart are three skinny black bars either. it could be possible that what you call boxes, he called bars, he may have just worded it in a different way, so really its up to melo to figure out if its the right patch or not

WTF? That's a West Point cadet. I believe the rank is that of a Lieutenant. That's a rank worn on their ACUs.
