This is for all the GO lovers. Anyone and everyone can come here and ask for a match. The records will be kept on this thread as well as the GO match charts.

to request a match:

Please read the rules first:

• The challenger will be playing black stone in even GO level matches. (ie, beginner vs. beginner matches)
  
• When a higher GO level player is involved in a match, the lower level GO play will have the black stone.
  
• Match can be played out on any GO server, which are listed in the next post. [note: if you are using a GO server that is not listed in the thread, please pervade a link to your match chart.]
  
• Go board size, KOMI (compensation points) and handicap (compensation stones) can be negotiate between the two players.
  
• [Below are the rules for those who cannot go on a GO server and decides to play out the match in a thread]
  
  • Thinking time is a day (24 hours), which should gave people enough time to check the thread and make a move.
    
  • Each person will post a coordinate for their move according to the matchboard they use.
    
  • Please mark your match-thread with [Competition] if you do not want other people to interfere. If anyone who is NOT the player, post in a match thread marked as [Competition], the outsider will be marked as 1 lose, for the match have to start over because of the interference.
    
  • Mark your match thread as [Practice] if you just want to play for fun, and anyone can come in and offer comments. It is up to the players to make the final decisions on the move.
    
  • Once a move has been made, players cannot EDIT the move. Please keep to the honor code and do not cheat on this, it is very easy to do, but it will not be fair to other player. If we find anyone cheating, that person automatically loses the match, and the other player wins. And we do try to keep a close eye on every move the players make.
