I figured it's high time this lovely little clan had a good old Spring Clean! And while we're at it a lick of paint and some new curtains wouldnt go amiss either.
Hence this shiney new announcement topic.
I'd like to know what you lovely lot would like to see here. I've put a few suggestions in the poll and I'd aprreciate your votes, and if you can think of any other new and shiney ideas to brighten the place up a bit they'll be more than welcome!
New Members ~ Should we go on a bit of a recruitment drive? I'm sure there's a whole bunch of nice, interesting well manered and nicely spoken zomgers out there who we havent corrupted yet xd
Clan Meet-ups ~ As sunday night has been a roaring success (when the lagmonster is sleeping that is) should we plan a couple of other nights in the week for different get togethers? Orb farming parties, EB splatathons and such. Suggestions please!
Guides and Walkthroughs ~ this has been suggested a number of times in other threads in here. I'm definitely up for breaking out a mule and starting over if anyone would like to accompany me on this fact finding and recording mission please let me know! Also, if you've got a guide or would like to contribute with and FAQ or specific guide of your own (ie. DC locations with maps, ring lists and ringset info, server lists, badge lists etc,) please me know.
Holiday Events ~ Obviously the sunday night dress up gets themed for the holidays but would you like to see events in here too? Or are you too busy with the main site event? Not sure about this one.
Competitions ~ I'd like to know how many people would be interested in this idea and I'd be very grateful for any suggestions.

Some of you may have noticed a bit of housework going on in here over the last couple of days:
I've moved some of the older, deader looking threads to the Cupboard of DOOOOOOM so there's lots of space in here for shiney new threads.
I've also added a couple of subforums:
Under Construction Which does what it says on the tin. This area is Crew only (for health and safety reasons : basically we cant afford more hardhats) for the construction of a walkthrough/guide thread and coming-soon-competition threads.
The Photo Album A place for threads with pickies and screenies of all our bestest Zomg Clan Moments and Events! Both existing "photo Album" threads have been moved here.
All our handy links and bits of helpful info have been compiled into one thread, Handy Links and Info which is stickied in the main forum, feel free to post your handy tips/links in here!
Sammy's (haloween) loot exchange has been upgraded to The Loot Exchange where you can post if you need a particular ingredient to finish a recipie and help out others by donating unwanted tat wink
Applications for willing victims to help out with implimenting any changes, vacumming, washing windows and recruitment will be taken (please post here if you want to be a happy helper!)
Cleaning materials will be provided but please bring your own rubber gloves.

LOL NUffers!
I know Iggies and I are on here and zOMG waaay too much I mean the right amout of time... So pass some cleaning supplies, we are willing to roll up sleeves and help out
If we get this job (fingers crossed) it might make us be part of rl a bit more, but we are still here waaaay too much just the right about of time
As for clan stuff I think ways to help our newest victims, er members know that we don't give a lick about cl... let us know where we can jump in and play, er help heart
If Iggies or I think of anything else, I'm sure we'll be here to annoy... er help ya 4laugh

I know that we have a lot of Geezers who deal with a hectic workweek as well as families, but we also have Geezers who are a little more laxed in schedules and aren't busy with a family.
Anything that I can do to lighten ya load let me know love. wink

I am not in favor of recruiting (in an invite-everyone-you-meet way), because we are a special group and just increasing the numbers will not be an improvement.
I don't think we need guides because guides are all over the forums. I made the useful links thread for posting links to such existing guides so people can share the info they find with out cluttering up the place.
I like the idea of EB spatathons and orb farming. Isn't that what we used to do during our dress-ups? Of course, now that the far majority of us are all CL 10, the only thing left really is the EB.

I figured most people here wouldnt need the guides thing but like I said some people have asked and you know how I like to try and keep everyone happy xd

Lol you know i'm always willing and able to help. Competitions could be fun you know me always up for a little bit of fun wink
I too like the ideas of more meet ups xd Although i am one of those more prone to lapsing in to idle chatter with everyone redface And orb farming nights would be a great help to some of our newer members who are not cl10's like the rest of us zomg ho's are xd Hive'athons would be good and potentially very useful for the orb farming.
And i'm willing to have a go round with a mule with ya, neither of them have even ventured to the realm of zomg and i'm afraid they're feeling rather neglected with all the dust they are collecting xd
And now i have waffled on quite enough. Off to get changed for bein a Kiki now xd

I do like the idea of a holiday event for the clan. I am usually busy with the main holiday event.
I also like the competition idea. For competition you could have an art themed competition, where we have to draw a geezer fighting a zomg creature or a comic of a geezer fighting in zomg. Another kind of competition you could have is one inside zomg. You could see who can last the longest in the hive without reviving or getting defibed, see who can collect the most orbs in a certain amount of time. See who can last the longest in the fountain game (if they start that up again). That is all I can think of for competition for now.
Even though alot of us are cl 10 I kind of think we should have a guide if we don't already.
