this is more rant-ish than anything but
this clan is like a family, one where we all know each other, but the group is small, we'd be really intimidating if we got big but why do we need to be intimidating at all?
i guess this is an 'anti-rally' topic...but i was thinking
we've the clan uniform discussion, where we stated 'for when we compete with other clans' and if mem serves right Chrissy said something along having 'no real clue as to what competitions can be held amongst clans'
my point:
why do we need the competitive side? i'd like us to stay small, subtle, modest, but at the same time, be well-known for hospitality
we are in a Ronin clan, the 'lost wave' the samurai with no master, so why do we, the ronins need to fight other clans? why fight when we can be renown for using an open minded approach to the ZOMG world, one where we simply are who we are
i've a phrase that applies here:
"I am who i am, not who i'm not"
We are ronins, we have no real boss, well except for Chrissy and Kajaro, but they are such since they run this clan
how's this:
if we hold clan events why hold them against some other clan where we need identify ourselves to compete when we can hold a user-event inside our ranks and have just as much fun, and twice as many laughs?
ah sorry for the rant, it was just a thought in my head

I agree and understand what your saying. But this is a clan of battle in zOMG, we technically need to be competitive. If we wanted to just keep to ourselves, we should make a guild (which I want to do eventually, maybe after the lotto is over). But there's nothing wrong with being competitive. It's not like we're clawing at each others throats xd

well i should probably clarify that the type of competitions i was thinking about was more along the lines of 'race-while-having-an-egg-on-a-spoon' type sweatdrop
and the events are also going to be extending to outside of zOMG as well. there has been suggestions to having rally races and events in towns, in there we especially need to have something that identify us as a clan.
