Hitoshi: Chakra 420/420• Stamina 210/210
Scylla: Chakra 210/210• Stamina 105/105

Hitoshi's question went ignored by Jeon, annoying him slightly. He got over it quickly though, his attention returning to Xion to make sure she was really all right. She didn't appear to be hurt or burned in any way, so he was grateful for that. If his new friend had gotten hurt that would have been bad, and he might have actually started a fight with this Shiro guy.

Nose wrinkling in disgust at the smell of smoke, Hitoshi walked away from the twins and Shiro to stand beside Xion. "I-I'm g-glad y-you're okay Xion," he grimaced at the return of his stutter. It appeared that due to all the recent excitement and him using up a ton of adrenaline in the recent fight, his stutter had returned. Damn. And I thought I'd made progress on that as well.

He barely managed to suppress an annoyed grown, unwrapping his tentacle from around his waist to inspect it more closely. It rubbed briefly against Xion's hand though since he was still unused to the new limb. His control of it wasn't the best right now. [1/3] Now, it was time to confirm a thought he'd just had. If he could create one tentacle, who was to say he couldn't create another? He tried to do just that, focusing chakra into his left shoulder. [2/3]
The boy did his best to replicate the feeling he'd had earlier when he created the first tentacle, envisioning an identical copy of the limb protruding from his shoulder. Annoyingly enough, he ended up creating a water tentacle instead.
He canceled the water jutsu and gave it another try. After several long seconds of nothing happening he was close to throwing in the towel. Before he had a chance to do that though, a second tentacle suddenly protruded from his left shoulder, shooting out just over Xion's head. [3/3]
Many Arms of the Squid [D-Rank] Learned

Hitoshi quickly caught the tentacle with his bare hands before it could fall and land on Xion's head, pulling it out of the way to thump against the ground behind her. He stared at it, completely nonplussed. He attempted to move it,
but it simply flopped about on the ground out of his control. Heaving an annoyed sigh, he tried instead to reel it back into his body. The tentacle responded immediately, easily reeling back into his body. Hitoshi's fist silently punched into the air as he allowed himself a brief moment to celebrate.

Summoning the tentacle once again, he wrapped it as well as the other one around his waist. He liked these tentacles, and so wanted to keep them around for quite a bit. "W-well, it's t-time to get some more t-t-training for the Chuunin exams in, but first I'll p-probably have to find a Jounin and convi-vince them to give me a recommendation," he stuttered to a probably very confused Xion as he turned his attention to the twins. They'd told him earlier that they've been Genin for a while, so maybe they knew someone who might hear him out? "So, uh, Jay. Jeon. Th-think you two could h-help me find a Jounin so I can get that re-recommendation?" He also hoped that maybe they could put in a good word and increase his chances of a favorable answer.

Female . 5'5" . 111lbs . 22 years old . D-rank . Genin . Sensor . Medical . Seirei no Hogosha . Kumogakure
Xion could not see, but she could feel the approach of something thin and too small to be a body. Her hands reached out to both hands, fingers gently coming into contact with the smooth skin of both. She had one hand for each twin. It was perfect. Gliding over their surfaces, her touch could feel that one hand was larger than the other, but otherwise, they felt similar, incredibly so, down to even the callouses. Ever inquisitive, Xion's fingers slipped between the fingers of the twins and ran up the length of the digits. Then her hands found their way back down the hands, where they wound themselves around the wrist of each twin. After that, and forming a connection with Jeon, there wasn't much more Xion could do with the hands.

Her weak grip released the twins' hands. As her hands fell to the front of her apron, Xion politely expressed her gratitude, "Oh my. How interesting. That was very helpful. Thank you for the explanation, Coin and Jet." Then, without any explanation for the twins' newly dubbed nickname, Xion quietly left after a farewell wave. She returned to her training. There were still two more techniques to learn and she had two new people to try it on.

Specialist Medical [ The user, choosing to specialize in healing medical techniques, gains a great boost to their chakra control in that area. At Chunnin, they gain a -5 chakra reduction to perform techniques in their specialty. at Jounin, -10, at Konin -15 at Sannin -20. To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side. ]

Mukei Enko [ Spiritual Connection ] E // Seirei no Hogosha [ The most basic technique of the Miyamoto clan in which all other techniques are derived and operated. Through a whim and moment of physical contact, the user creates a connection between themselves and the subject. This connection is the Miyamoto tactic; it opens a gate to healing, strengthening, and many other benefits that cannot be brought out by one person alone. Once a bond is formed, a tie with no true physical form is created between the parties. It cannot be seen or severed without special and specific means. This connection can, however, be broken if the user runs out of chakra, becomes unconscious, or the connected party leaves the general vicinity. ( Any form of skin-to-skin contact while using the technique forms a connection. Additionally, a willing target can have this connection created through any form of contact, even through clothing. )
    • Maximum Links Per Individual: [2]
    • Maximum connection range: Two Miles
    • As you rank up, your connections will receive added benifits, connections are limitless, but be aware each connection will drain an E-ranks worth of chakra until your body has grown accustom to the clans techniques and be also aware that this stacks on top of [Mukei Enchou] extensions. As your body hones itself you'll find that you'll be able to distribute and handle as many links as you desire without it being as mentally draining.
Genin: No reduction to channeling costs. The cost of channeled Eiseijutsu is [Rank Multiplied by # of Recipients.]
Chunin - Jounin: Reduces the amount of chakra required to sustain established links by half. [Excluding Extensions] The cost channeled Eiseijutsu is [Rank Multiplied by # of Recipients.]
Konin - Sannin: No chakra is required to sustain established links [Excluding Extensions]. The cost of channeled Eiseijutsu is [Rank Multiplied by # of Recipients.] ]

Mukei Nokori [ Spiritual Residue ] Training :: Trained as C // Seirei no Hogosha [ As ability increasing techniques are continuously performed, the effects of those techniques seem to begin to last longer- though at a reduced potency. ( After an ability increasing technique’s duration ends, its effects continue for two [2] additional posts at 50% potency.) ]

A small chuckle escaped his lips as he listened to Jay's response,"Shes always been and probably always will be a firecracker. Thats what makes her useful to me in the emergency wing. Your efforts to keep up do the same for you." Though his smile faded when Jeon extinguished his smoke. Flicking his tongue he spit the wet remains out with a sigh,"Yea they will, but not before you two, the stress of the damn hospital, or a shinobi's life beat them to the punch. Besides," He let out another chuckle before continuing,"They help me deal with the number one and two pains in my a**." He gave a small nod to the each of the twins in turn. Despite appearances he actually had quite a bit of respect for the two. With a bit of experience and learning he actually intended to have one of the two replace him as head. Though when the other boy spoke up Shiro gave his question some thought before speaking up,"Wan should be in the hospital if you want to go visit him. Though I highly doubt his wounds have fully healed. Lord Kage would be in his office if you want to see about getting his approval, and where our third jounin went is beyond me, outside of the village I would wager given that I haven't seen him in a bit." All this talk of exams irritated him a bit. Not because he was opposed to the exams it was simply that he knew about the possible invasion and prioritized it over any personal glory the exams could give. Though at the same time he could appreciate the desire to improve oneself. Turning to the twins he smirked,"Speaking of training, you two want to learn how to do that? Punch things so hard they go flying through the floor?"

The shenanigans with Hitoshi and his tentacle was pretty weird to view but it donned on both of the twins that, to most people, watching two people suddenly become one must have drawn some askance views as well. Even mroe odd would likely have been the visage of one splitting to form two. Seemed like everyone was just a big weirdo to someone else. Jeon looked to Hitoshi and spoke to him "Sure, maybe we can look around for the giant man! Oh, and we aren't nearly done with that spar! We'll pick it up another time." The chuunin exams were nearing, and it was going to be a good chance for the twins to prove to each other all the training has been worthwhile. Jay rose an eyebrow as the girl deft and curiously tracked over his hand and his sisters with her own. It was an interesting viewpoint, seeing a girl who had to interact with the world in lieu of sight, so he would be interested in doing some research about blindness now when they hit the hospital again. He turned his head to Shiro and smirked, as did Jay. "Well, I mean where would you be if one and two didn't keep you on your toes, right Songbaenim?" When he spoke about where Wan could be located, Jeon and Jay nodded. "We actually picked up a scroll on some sort of style based around movement. Something tells me that'll end up being more useful in the short term than hitting things hard, and I am perfectly capable of hitting things hard. Yah Jeon?" "Yap! Still it could be good to know how to turn things into fireballs." "Yeah but what about the golden rule of combat." "That's all well and good when YOU have the main body, but you know I like getting hit!" "We could flip a coin." "Or ask our friends here!" At the end of their short tirade they would both look to Shiro and Hitoshi expectantly. "Well?" Jay asked to them. "Oh, we can help you look for Wan, by the way," he added on in a lower tone.

      0/7 Soul Charges

Hatsu walked into the building she had not seen for some time. The air around the place was different than whn she had last seen it. The dojo was bustling, people training around her as she sat down to meditate. [1/2]

Her mind now at ease, she felt a wave of comfort wash over her as she focused her chakra. She had awakened a power before, but it now lay dormant once again. Continuing to meditate she would keep at it until she felt the power ebb and flow through her veins once more. [2/2 Body and Soul]

Rising from her spot on the tatami, Hatsu would find the nearest punching bag, and start pummeling it. She would put as much force as she could into her strikes, comboing her hits into one fluid movement. Rearing up for a final hit, she would punch the thing right off its frame. Laying the now loose punching bag next to its former frame, Hatsu would sit down on the floor with a few scrolls. [1/1 Hard Physical B Rank] [1/1 Hard Physical A Rank (Free Mission/Training Post Used)]

Unfurling the first scroll, she would begin reading up on how to control water with her chakra. She already knew how to control snow, so this task was not too difficult. Once finished she would roll the scroll back up and move on to the next technique. [1/1 Water Manipulation X (E) Rank]

Preparing the second scroll, she would begin reading up on another beginner's technique. This technique would allow her to possibly stun her opponent, making it easier to attack them. Again, this technique was not hard to learn. Putting the scrolls up once she had finished, she watched the other ninja and students train for a while. [1/1 Fish Spit E Rank]

Tsumetai [ Cold to the Touch ]: The skin of each Shinsetsu clan member is chilled; producing a refreshing, almost intoxicating aura. This aura does not stretch far from one's person, and only the Shinsetsu and those in direct contact with him/her can truly appreciate the feeling. Because of this attribute, humidity is a foreign concept to the Shinsetsu, and only the most extreme of heats will cause those within tsumetai's effect to break a sweat. Additionally, this consistent cold has weathered their skin and innards, providing an internal and external resistance to freezing temperatures. Although not exactly topical, it should be noted that thanks to their relaxing aura, the Shinsetsu are considered some of the most desirable lovers in the world.

      Hitoshi: Chakra 420/420• Stamina 210/210
      Scylla: Chakra 210/210• Stamina 105/105

Hands buried deep in his pockets, Hitoshi's shoulders slumped forward dejectedly as Xion completely ignored his words of concern, and eve his general presence in favor of Jay and Jeon. Being acknowledged at least a little bit by his new friend would have been nice since being ignored had always been one of his biggest pet peeves. Before he could get too lost in thought or wallow in self-pity though, Shiro had gone ahead and answered his question before Jay or Jeon could. Soon after he did, the twins offered to help him find this man named Wan. He annoyed me earlier since he nearly got Xion hurt, but I guess I did as well. He seems alright. Hitoshi was never one to hold a grudge for long in the first place.

Movement out the corner of his eye quickly caught his attention out of the corner of his eye, and Hitoshi's eyes swiveled to the right as he observed a girl ruthlessly pummeling a defenseless punching bag as if it owed her money. She was most physically attractive, but he could tell already that she was in far better shape than him. And her form, while certainly not flawless,
contained a much smaller amount of flaws than he did. Trading blows with someone like her, a person who seemed to dedicate much time and energy to Taijutsu... his body involuntarily shivered at the thought. The boy's gaze lingered on the girl for longer than was probably appropriate after she sat to read the scrolls laid out before her before he returned his attention to the twins, who were apparently asking him and Shiro a little bit about combat.

Glad he hadn't completely tuned their conversation out of his head while he was distracted, Hitoshi took a long moment to think before giving the boy and girl his own opinion. He didn't know too much about them, so he could only speak from his own perspective and fighting style. The girl he'd just been watching had successfully confirmed for him that his chosen fighting style was the right decision. "I..." a pause, eyebrows knitted together and mouth turned down in a thoughtful frown as he tried to figure out the best way to put his thoughts to words. "I'm n-not all that physically strong myself, so my personal fighting style relies on constant movement. I try to move as fast possible to get around my opponent's defenses. So in my experience being able to get a hit off in the first place is more beneficial than making sure that hit is particularly strong. Damage does add up over time anyways and as long as I'm fast enough I can just avoid getting hit myself. Th-that's why I'm gonna put this Hsing-I Pakua scroll back and pick up Kyouzou instead." He fell silent at the end of his short speech and held up the scroll he'd spoken of awkwardly in his hand for a moment, before his arm dropped loosely back to his side. Thankfully he had only stuttered two times in that little speech of his. If it was about fighting, then he could definitely speak without his stutter being too much of a bother.

ooc:: Training montage... Go! ~ Formless Training!

Unki would arrive feeling as spry as the eager early bird after a successful hunt. She came with the utmost intentions to raise her skills first before anything else. As she stands, Unki is lacking on physical tactics and considers a firm brush-up on her abilities are a must to continue success. A ways in, after scouring through the great open rooms and through the hallway, Unki wound find a group of students and ninja. One, she had overheard, made the statement for an open session of practice. A spar, however, without any fancy tricks to overthrow the other. Pure hand to hand. She had met the gaze of the willing ninja who spoke. After, she was eager and certain to maintain the ninja’s attention.

She would request the challenge, hopeful, that he would accept a roaming one-time student. He was a young man, perhaps her age, and he admits to being welcome to helping a fellow aspiring ninja. Unki would enter the room and follow his lead to an open, but confined, area that was spacious enough for the other students to observe. He would point to a space on the floor and ask Unki to stand there as he took his place.

      The pair would bow. Facing one another, she would observe the stance the other was starting with. This was to be a brief but vital spar to hone Unki’s skills. The goal of learning to better her abilities of throwing, dodging, and blocking close quarter attacks. {1 of 3}

      In terms of skill, her opponent was more proficient and made themselves willing to help the aspiring the kunoichi. He wouldn’t adjusts his level of skill on her account wishing to test her first choice, the young opponent came at her at full force. Unki would bend her knees some as he came closer. This leaves him wide open for a variety of things for Unki to try: she could dodge, perhaps attempt a lower kick with anticipation that he would jump over or draw to the side; or attempt a direct strike, or simply move out of way to examine her options. The girl’s first move was a choice to remain firm. Limbs ready. {2 of 3}

Never doubt that your opponent will do something unexpected. The run was anticipated as a diversion that he would break and attack at a different angle. Unki’s opponent instead committed to his choice and tried to swing at her head-on. What would have otherwise encouraged a fleeing spring, however, Unki was ready and follows through with an attempt to block with an open palm. {3 of 3} Rank D; Soft Physical Formless

      Her opponent's swing wasn’t entirely nullified by her hand. The slight pain was the cost of defending from a blow, better a bruise around on her forearm than her face or shoulder. Unki would feign the plot to return an attack. She would quickly close her fingers around his fist and applies a bit of force to try to toss back his arm. Both were vulnerable. Unki was in a closed position and her opponent’s stance was wide open. She chose to release her grasp and took a step back. She was open again and the opponent was quick to catch her on the mistake.. He drew back his arm as if he were to throw another fist her direction, however he would lean his body back to perform a solid kick instead. {1 of 4}

      She was in striking distance, no doubt. Raising her arm, Unki would manage to catch and stop his kick. To follow up, the girl would have to be quick: she would risk a step closer, her arms hurry to reach and grab for his shoulders. Daze him. Smacking foreheads for a firm headbutt. An unexpected and somewhat thoughtless move. The headbutt had him distracted long enough for her to reach around his torso, arch forward, and quickly work his body onto her hip. Her opponent was slightly bigger than herself, but, the working flip was still with some control. {2 of 4}

      Thud! Unki’s opponent lands to the floor just past her shoulder. Now, she had created a chance to deliver the next move. Her experienced opponent dutifully recovers and laughs, commenting on her bold move to pretty much start with a headbutt. Once more, the pair would square off, face to face and begin a simple barrage of strikes. A few, though, Unki would trip up and miss the chance to dodge. Too many mistakes can open the way for a secession of continual strikes until she would lose her stance or fall. {3 of 4}

But she was determined not to allow herself to fail quickly. A side-step here, there, a bend forward, backwards , and a few of her own counter-strikes and timely kicks in her opponent’s direction. Some strikes would land, some were dodged and only tempt Unki to try harder and think more sound about her choices. It was only a brief spar, after all. A warm up. Her opponent stopped the action before she could get too serious. {4 of 4}C Rank Formless ; Soft Physical

Unki would hold back any complaints. He had fulfilled his offer of giving her a decent warm up fight before she would hope to move onto bigger training sessions. She would thank him, bow, exit the room, and go about her way.

ooc:: Training montage below. Complete Sazanami training up to Stage 4 !

The previous spar was very refreshing after her break. Her day was proving itself to be very busy with little time for rest. She felt loose and was roaring to keep the pace going. Next thing she knew, Unki was bouncing up and down wall of literature. More training. A scroll she pulled from the wall that included something about the word “waves” and the thought of the ocean would become her object. A taijutsu scroll that she would be going about learning solo.

Unki would begin review of the Sazanami style from a scroll. The moves were straight forward enough to understand on her own. Facing a training dummy, Unki would go to assume the first stance. Standing as she would, normal posture, with her feet positioned a small distance apart and at the ready. In this stance, Unki would be ready to approach and react to incoming strikes. [1/1]Learned: Sazanami: First Footing: Standing Stance; Simple:: Rank

The following move would be an efficient way to replicate her movements. To practice, Unki would maintain her stance and ready her leg for a firm kick to strike the dummy’s shoulder. One solid kick with a resounding thump. She then exerts her energy to succeed with a second solid kick with the same force. Another heavy thump on the dummy was all the proof needed. [1/1]Learned: Sazanami: Double Strike; Simple:: Rank E

Another glance down at the instructional scroll and Unki then goes to assume a new stance. She was still squared up against with the training dummy, she didn’t know what to expect of this next stance. As the text instructs, Unki would shift her position by first placing her feet at double shoulder width apart. Then bending her knees and certain to cease and hold as if she were in a sitting position. This stance was held at a wider width than she expected and would have to be maintained. [1 of 2]

She would have to keep her back straight. That wasn’t too hard, right? The angle and being up-right was looking like practice for maintaining good posture. Unki would stretch out her arms to keep them loose. She would move her hands to her hip, and held the bend of her arms. Her palms were turned upward, fingers curled, meaning that Unki had assumed proper stance. This stance was feeling like it had a preparatory to face a barrage of physical strikes so that she may try to possible grab or defend herself by utilizing an extra ounce of strength in having the upper-hand, perhaps. [2 of 2]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 2: Second Footing: Horse Stance Rank: D :: Simple

After her two spars and on-top of past exercises, the next move didn’t sound overly difficult. But, one wouldn’t know the true level of difficulty until trying. Unki would need something to truly try the effectiveness of the Bell Ring strike, so, she would conjure a clone. Now, this type clone was dangerous in the sense of its detonation effect. Note to self; learn non-exploding clones. The Unki clone looked as cheery as any Unki could that was about to be struck with something and would make herself still and ready against what was to happen next.[1 of 2]

The real Unki stood before her clone and slowly traced the path with her arm to where she was going to strike: her chest, yet to be more specific, along the ribs. Inhale. The technique isn’t supposed to break rib but could be hard enough to literally knock the clone out of form. This was a simple strike and would only need physical force in place of chakra. The real Unki would take aim and ready her hand. Exhale. Then, unleashing her strike and land a very firm hit on the clone’s chest. The clone would flinch a second after taking the hit and reveal the sudden difficulty to take a complete breath through the sound of short, heaving breaths. [2 of 2]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 2: Bell Ring, Rank: X :: Simple

Her clone detonated thereafter and the girl recoiled to protect her face from the warm winds. She was widely immune, still, better safe than sorry. Looking over her arm, Unki would catch sight of the next technique on the scroll below. She read through twice and sighs heavily after finding the need for another clone. So, Unki reluctantly conjures a replacement clone and shooed it back to stand several feet away from her. The next technique would call for an incoming attack and an eventual counter. [1 of 3]

She would have to initiate an attack and follow through to learn. So, Unki had prepared the clone to stand some feet away from her. At the ready, the real Unki would wave to the clone to come running with intent to swing. The scenario was supposed to be obvious, as some of her opponents could very well be nothing else but obvious. Now in range, the Unki-clone swung her fist for real-Unki to finally, assert her hand to intervene and smoothly guide the clone’s hit out of direction of her neck. [2 of 3]

The next part of the technique guides Unki retreat her opposite arm in a moment of charge then thrusts her open palm onto the clone’s jaw. The clone would be knocked into a brief daze and her balance thrown askew. A second attack was required to fully understand the counter. The other arm would go in for a second swing and further hits the Unki-clone. Her second blow had caught the clone off guard and nearly knocked it to its feet. [3 of 3]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 3: Sweeping Strike, Rank: X :: Simple

The clone didn’t falter. Unki’s hit may have not been tough enough to dissipate the clone. The clone was shaken up a little but brushed herself off and assured herself ready for another hit. Meanwhile, the real Unki was already busy reading into the next technique. This was a real counter attack that should start as a short-step dodge. [1of 3]

At last, the real Unki would signal her clone to approach and attack with intent. To get the groove of things the two Unkis would need to exchange a few heaving blows to get the motion of ready to counter. The clone was, at most, the one fulfilling through the dodging work until the one timely strike from the clone came through. Unki would begin, very quickly, to fulfill the set-up. [2 of 3]

A step. A small step, a little over than a foot in distance, was a taken in the face of an incoming hit to the face. She didn’t even have to block it. Unki had dodged the clone’s swing and knew, from the reading, that at this point she could attain a new stance and to prepare for a new move. [3 of 3]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 3: Firm Step, Rank: X :: Simple

She didn’t take the opportunity for a follow-up attack. Maintaining her energy was more important than wasting it on heavy swings and burning through clones. The clone withdrew from her previous, immediate, range and backed off some while the real-Unki began to prepare. [1 of 4]

Information in the scroll lists the next technique as a means to reinforce the offensive quality of her techniques. However, this technique’s reinforcement trait came off as quite foreign to Unki. The information goes on with details about some sort of training that she hadn’t wrapped her mind around yet. [2 of 4]

She would read every piece of information despite the current lack of knowledge to fully take advantage of this “spinning step” Unki was determined to undertake the challenge and utilize what she could with this move. It may be a bit of time before Unki could fully get to embrace what this move has to offer. The chance of progressing further and unlocking the potential of Spinning Step was very motivational. [3 of 4]

Ultimately, Unki was motivated to try the motion. She would have to enter this technique from something else during combat and couldn’t fulfil this so easily. The girl would stand on the balls of her feet, lift one leg up some, and begin the motion of force to spin. The spinning wouldn’t be haphazardly done, but would have to be accomplished with a sense of control and poise. A few spins with her arms out yet at a bend. To forget this technique would be a crime, all in itself. [4 of 4]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 3: Spinning Step, Rank: X :: Complex

Onto the next item. Unki would stop spinning before making herself too dizzy. A quick glance of the clone, who was busy giggling at her counterpart’s behavior, assures her that its time present hasn’t yet ran out. Although, there was the possibility she wouldn’t be needing the clone for this next item too quickly. The next item is another stance. [1 of 4]

The clone could be useful, that is, should the girl choose to test the power unearthed in this readied stance. Again, Unki would read over the scroll for the specifics on the stance: the “Back Stance”, as it’s called, is intended to prove an upper-hand to strikes and throwing one’s opponent a bit easier to follow through. All right, maybe, the clone would be necessary to test the stance’s workings. Lucky her that one eager clone was still floating about in front of her. [2 of 4]

Following her study, Unki would start the act of physical practice. The girl would turn her person 90° degrees to line her shoulders up with the clone. Then, she would have her left foot, her dominate side, forward to point in direction of her clone, the same direction she would place her focus. Her left arm extends with her hand up, palm forward, and open. Meanwhile, her right arm is set back some, hand would be made into a fist, and held close to her chest. Her stance is widened. [3 of 4]

At last Unki stood at the ready in the newly attained stance. She calls for her clone to come charging to her person. The clone broke into a dash and came closer by the seconds and nearing closer was Unki’s chance to nail a solid throw. As soon as she came in her reach, Unki would reach out and reach under the clone’s right shoulder and latch her other hand onto her the nearest arm. The hold was set and quickly, Unki follows through with a heaving swing of the clone over her arm and back to land with a waft of warm air in her face.[4 of 4]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 4:Third Footing: Back Stance Rank: B :: Simple

Any trained ninja would see that the clone couldn’t take the hit. The last steaming straw burned up with the over-arm swing to the floor. The hot-air clones that explode, even without expending their full time, were beginning to become annoying. She was still in need of a clone for training and should’ve warned herself about the mess of making more over and over again prior to training. Maybe, she should have charmed some bored soul around the dojo into helping her? [1 of 5]

With a huff, Unki would create a third, single, scorch clone. The clone was lively and seems pretty happy to be there as the real Unki was busy mumbling over the next technique. A short sequence of attacks that was summed up in two chilling words: “Cross Split”. The wonder of what it could all lead Unki to, other than a snapping of someone’s bone, only read further. Regrettably, the more the girl read, the more she would begin to feel sorry for her clone. [2 of 5]

Initiating practice, Unki and her new clone began. The clone made the first move as a seemingly, slow-motion reach to the real Unki. Ruffled emotions were starting to get the better of her, though, by now. All she wanted to do was to hurry grasp every ounce of knowledge she could as soon as possible. [3 of 5]

First part: Unki shoves her arm in way of a cloned-first coming her way and blocks it. Her other arm, which had been ready at her side, is moved to reach and latch onto the clone’s wrist. Her firm grasp was steady and took the clone by surprise, some. [4 of 5]

Second part: she could all ready feel resistance from the clone trying to pull away and retreat. The clone’s steadied arm was quickly hammered with a forceful strike from Unki’s hand. Prior, Unki had read about the extra ounce of force needed to fulfill the training and deliver a snap to the clone’s arm. [5 of 5]Learned: Sazanami: Stage 4:Cross Split | Rank X :: Complex

It was a bit painful to watch her own image react to a swift snapping from sheer excess force. The sight of her own false suffering made her briefly question the status of her own pain tolerance. She hadn’t broken a bone before instead only a good number of nasty cuts, several ugly bruises, and sore muscles were in her recent history. [1 of 5]

The clone was in distress and expressed her anger in a seething hiss in direction toward the real Unki. The real Unki bit her lip and with some haste, dismisses the bitter and injured clone with a single hand seal. Moving on. She would collect the style scroll and read onto the next bit: “Hummingbird’s Flight” was slightly different from the previous as was one which called for the use of chakra in its implication. [2 of 5]

Unki would roll up the style scroll and set it aside. This was the last technique she could handle for Sazanami. So another clone was summoned, passed two kunai to borrow, and was shooed a ways back. Distance would be necessary for the act of redirecting projectiles in an efficient manner. [3 of 5]

She had the advantage of being able to prepare in this scenario. The clone was set-up more than a few feet away from Unki, who was busy focusing her chakra an arm. She would want to try twice with two different appendages. An arm and a leg, through a swing of her leg. One! The first knife was thrown. [4 of 5]

Streamlining directing to her person, Unki would spin with her arm outward in line of the knife. The layer of chakra meets with the metal knife, channeling a smooth glide by just over her arm to past her person. The second knife is thrown. The chakra channeled into her raised leg follows with her direction of turn. The blade meets the thin layer of focused chakra along her leg and is also lead astray. A small smile spread across his face as he watched the twins ramble back and fourth between themselves. He had to admit he enjoyed how black and white it was when the two of them were focused on a single thing, and when they were without a clear cut goal like now. When the two asked him what they thought he smiled a bit before listening to the other young man, whose name eluded him. Once both had finished a let out a small chuckle,"Honestly, this goes for both of you. HOW you fight doesn't really matter. Every method is different from another just like people. It matters more WHY you fight in my experience." Taking a step back he slid one leg behind the other and relaxed his posture,"Tell me, why do you want to get a recommendation? Why fight in the exams? That question goes to the two of you as well, Jeon, Jay." While he was genuinely curious as to their mentalities it was more of a test as to whether or not he was going to stick his neck so far out for the three of them.

Jay was always the one who thought before he spoke, and questions that could lead him to any sort of introspection would serve as a distraction for him. Jeon, however, was as quick on the draw as ever. "Well, we wanna be stronger, obviously. But we wanna be stronger cause this place is our home, and our job as shinobi is to protect it. After all, it took everything we had, all of our parent's life's work to get here and we were welcomed in with open arms. We owe it to Kumo and ourselves to get stronger," she spoke. Jay frowned a bit at her and sighed to which she simply shrugged. He did not like talking about that time in any capacity. It was over, and he'd rather it stay that way. "Anyway, I think we can take you up on that offer to learn how to slam things through the floor, Shiro." Jeon stood ahead of him, looking up with stars in her eyes and a demonic grin painted over her lips. He turned her around quickly, smirking a little like a yougner sibling was annoying him. Odd, since she was actually older than him, but that was neither here no there. Even so Jeon had jumped the gun and spoke before Hitoshi even had a chance so she turned to him, as did Jay. The look was blatantly and unapologetically inquisitive and expectant.

"A reason to fight huh?" Hitoshi's hands pulled out of his pocket and his eyes glazed over as if he was reliving an old memory.

His friend's cold body held lifeless in his arms, eyes staring blankly up at him. Hands useless pressing against the killing wound in his chest, one that Hitoshi might have been able to stop if he had only been strong enough. Fast enough. Good enough. If only he had been... if only he had been stronger then MAYBE he could have protected his friend!

The boy's head shook as if to banish the memory and he sighed sadly, back turning to the others so that they couldn't see the sad look on his face, eyes brimming with tears. He took a few steps in the direction of the academy,
deciding that he wanted to finish his Ninjutsu training first now. After several steps however he stopped, and without turning his head finally answered Shiro's question, "Unlike Jeon I don't really care much about this village as a whole... but I've lost a precious friend of mine before because I was too weak to be able to protect him. I never want that to happen again, so I will continue to get stronger so that I can live a simple life and be able to protect my loved ones." He walked off after that, not bothering to wait for a response. It was time to train, and to do that he needed to go back to that pond he'd been at earlier.

This first Suiton jutsu would be incredibly useful for avoiding others. Hitoshi would have to be careful how he used it though. If he used it in the wrong time or place it was likely he would be easily figured out and that could only spell disaster. [1/3] He started by slowly practicing the hand seals for the jutsu, no chakra included. Getting this jutsu wrong could be dangerous, so he wanted to be one-hundred percent sure he had it right before bringing chakra into the mix. He continued practicing the hand seals for the jutsu for a couple minutes more before deciding it was finally time to include some chakra. [2/3] Hitoshi's practiced hands quickly flashed through the seals for the Water Puddle jutsu. "Here goes nothing," he muttered nervously as his hands landed on the last seal. Hitoshi's form shuddered for a moment before he quickly turned into a blob of water. The water fell to the ground, forming a puddle. Hitoshi had successfully transformed his body into that of a water puddle. [3/3]
Mizutamari no Jutsu [ Water Puddle Technique ] Learned

The next jutsu Hitoshi wanted to learn was an offshoot off of the Water Puddle technique. In order to use it though, he'd have to get out of this puddle form and go stand on that pond over there. He tried turning back into his normal human form, but collapsed back into a puddle of water after his torso started to partially form. [1/3] He grunted in annoyance and tried again, this time fully turning back into a human. He then jumped onto the pond, sending a surge of chakra to his feet so he could stand atop its surface. Next his eyes turned to a specific spot on the pond several feet away. [2/3] Finally Hitoshi's hands flew through the seals for the Water Puddle Technique again, this time with a small change in the sequence. He then sent his chakra out to that spot he was focusing on, closing his eyes for a moment as he envisioned it in his mind. When he next opened his eyes, he was standing in that spot. He had successfully become part of the water and then reformed in that spot, just as the scroll said would happen. [3/3]
Mizutamari Yusuo no Jutsu [ Water Puddle Transportation Technique ] Learned

Hitoshi futilely wrung the water out of the end of his shirt, wishing he had been smart enough to disrobe before this. The cold never really bothered him, but now his clothes were soaked and he hadn't brought a change of clothes at all. No matter. At least the next jutsu was a relatively simple one compared to the last two he'd learned. [1/3] He brought his hands together into a seal. Yes just a single seal. He then turned his chakra into his suiton element and sent his it out into the air around him. Since he was standing on a body of water, this next part would be much easier. [2/3] Hitoshi's brow wrinkled in concentration, sweat pouring down from his face in exertion. Looks like he'd been wrong. Even though this jutsu seemed simpler than the others, the fact that it covered such a large area more than made up for it. Eventually he was able to cover the surrounding area in at thick, dense fog though, created by the moisture in the air around him. [3/3]
Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] Learned

Now this time there was no mistaking it. This next jutsu would by far be the simplest ninjutsu Hitoshi ever learned. It was about as basic as it gets really. [1/3] He started by practicing the hand seals for the jutsu just in case though. Getting such a simple jutsu wrong would be embarrassing after all, so he didn't want that to happen. After practicing for what felt like long enough, he then moved on to the next step. [2/3] His hands flew through the seals once again, but this time he included chakra. After he finished he then held his hands out in front of him expectantly, almost as if waiting for something to be placed in them. A moment later he was holding six water shurikens in his hands, held between his fingers. [3/3]
Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu [ Water Shuriken Technique ] Learned

He smirked triumphantly and threw the shuriken at the tree by the pond. An interest jutsu but overall pointless. No, that had just been training for the real prize. [1/3] The jutsu he really wanted to learn was a stronger, C-Rank version of the Water Shuriken Technique. This one would create the larger and more powerful fuuma shuriken rather than the smaller, weaker ones. [2/3] His hand flew through the seals of the jutsu once more, tacking on an additional one at the end of the sequence. Immediately upon completion of the seals the jutsu took effect. Dozens of giant shuriken launched out of the water straight the tree he'd thrown the smaller shuriken at earlier. The large shuriken hit the tree, cutting its branches apart and eventually cleaving the entire tree in half. Hitoshi jumped up in a bit of a panicked shock as he hurriedly dashed out of the way of the falling tree, barely avoiding getting knocked out and having his training session cut short. [3/3]
Fuuma Mizu Shuriken [ Evil Windmill Water Shuriken ] Learned

"Hehehe. Uh… oops? That was close," Hitoshi loosed an awkward laugh as wiped water off his face. He'd avoided getting hit by the tree, but a good amount of the water had splashed into his face. He took a short break to clean his face off before getting back to work. Considering what he had learned about himself lately this next jutsu seemed rather… fitting. [1/3] This jutsu was yet another augmented version of one of his favorite jutsu. One that involved a certain type of limb that normal humans didn't have, yet he did. It was another jutsu involving tentacles. [2/3] Hitoshi's hands flew through the seals for the jutsu. He had practice these seals without chakra earlier, so this time he went all-in and included chakra right off the bat. His hands came to rest in the last seal of the jutsu, and right in front of him eight large chakra tentacles burst through the surface of the water to rise up around him. The tentacles hung there momentarily before cascading back into the water, splashing yet more water into his face.
Shokushu Rendan Kyouran [ Tentacle Barrage Fury ] Learned

Finally he was almost done with his Suiton jutsu. These B-Rank techniques would certainly be far more difficult for him to learn, but he was sure that he could do it. Well, he hoped he could do it at least. [1/5] To be completely honest Hitoshi wasn't all that confident. He was still tired from all his earlier training, but somehow he felt that if he quit now he would be screwed in the future. So right now his only hope was to try his best and pray it worked out. Too bad he didn't pray. [2/5] Hitoshi first practiced the hand seals, not bothering to add chakra quite yet. There was no point since he would surely fail if he went all-in right away. The smart thing to do would be to just practice the seals until he had them down perfectly first. [3/5] It was a shame Hitoshi wasn't being too smart at the moment. He quickly got bored of just practicing the seals and decided to add chakra the next time. The jutsu failed though, with just five tiny slivers of water rising in the air around him. [4/5] Hitoshi stomped his feet in annoyance and tried again. He'd messed up on that last seal, but this time he would not. He tried again, practiced hands quickly flying through the seals and then the palm of one hand slapping against the surface of the water in front of him. This time instead of tiny slivers of water five large drills rose up in the air around him. Great! This jutsu was probably his best Ninjutsu yet, since it was well-suited to being used for both defense and offense. After finishing with the jutsu Hitoshi then moved on to practice some more B-Ranked techniques.

With that all the suiton jutsu he cared to learn were taken care of. Next Hitoshi just needed to change focus to Fuuton and then he'd be done with elemental jutsu. After learning so many high ranked jutsu though he might as well ride this high and learn some more B-Ranks though. [1/5] This first one was pretty simple in concept. It started with creating a clone, then ended in blowing it up. It wasn't exactly the most complex thing ever, but it was useful and as far as Hitoshi was concerned that's all that mattered. [2/5] The first part of the jutsu was easy. Hitoshi just created a simple, weak wind clone. It was something so easy to him now it was about as simple as breathing for him, so before long a wind clone came to life beside him. [3/5] He then directed the clone several yards away from him, obviously not wanting himself to be caught in the blast its destruction would create. He then held his hands together in a single seal, focusing intently on the wind chakra the clone was made of. Next he began to mold the chakra to his whim, and so the beginning stages of the jutsu commenced. [4/5] Still focusing intently, he condensed the wind chakra into a small point in the clone. He then caused it to whirl about, almost like a tornado was forming in the core of the clone. Finished, he fished a kunai out of his pouch and tossed it straight at the clone's head. The clone violently exploded, throwing great gusts of wind in all directions around it. [5/5]
Kaze Bunshin Bakuha [ Wind Clone Explosion ] Learned

One more B-Rank jutsu, then it would only be downhill from here. That was a good thing for Hitoshi though, because that meant it could only get easier. And after working up such a sweat he needed something simple to cool down. [1/5] This jutsu required no hand seals at all, which some might think would make it simple. It was a B-Rank jutsu for a reason though, and wasn't simpler than any other. The destructive power of it was something to behold though, and since it didn't require hand seals was a perfect choice at close range. [2/5] The boy smirked as he realized something. Yes this jutsu could be even better than he thought. If he could get his opponents to focus more on his tentacles than his fist, then that might be able to guarantee a good hit on them. [3/5] He began first by focusing wind chakra into his fist, much in a same way he focused it in the palms of his hands for the Zankuuha. Unlike the Zankuuha though, the chakra in this technique was so powerful it was visible as a whirlwind of condensed wind around his fist. He further condensed the wind, causing it to become even more visible to the naked eye. [4/5] The sight caused him to sigh, more than a bit disappointed at how visible the chakra in the jutsu was. He'd been hoping it wouldn't be so visible, but that was naïve. Of course it would be visible though, being such a large amount of chakra condensed into such a small point. He was quickly cheered up by the sight of a completely destroyed tree upon releasing the powerful chakra though. [5/5]
Furyuuchou Ken [ Flowing Wind Fist ] Learned

Tornado Trap was the name of the next jutsu Hitoshi would learn. While it wasn't terribly powerful on its own, it could definitely combo well with some of his other jutsu. Of course those jutsu were his Genjutsu, and they combo well with everything, but that was beside the point [1/3] He started with the hand seals and no chakra. He wanted to see just how quickly he could flash through the seals without making a mistake before adding chakra in. The results were pretty promising even on his first try though so he didn't practice for much longer beyond that [3/3] Next he added chakra to the mix. Once again he flashed through the hand seals. The result was a pretty decently sized tornado not too far away from him. [3/3]

Now it was time to work on Zankuuha, that is to say, the stronger version of Zankuuha. It was a decent jutsu and all, but it needed a bit more 'kick'. The stronger C-Rank version of this technique was just the thing he was looking for. [1/3] He focused chakra into the palms of his hands. He then turned that chakra into wind chakra. When he released it though, all he got was a normal Zankuuha. [2/3] He grunted in annoyance, but tried again nonetheless. This time he got a much stronger blast though. He was pleased with himself, and then promptly collapsed to the ground to take a short break. [3/3]

It was right after he had completed his Ninjutsu training when Hitoshi received the letter. His brow crinkled in confusion and worry as he read it. It looked like he wouldn't need that recommendation but... he must have lost track of of the time. He had no idea the exams would be so soon! Sighing in annoyance he slipped the note into his pocket before leaving the academy to head to the apparent location of the exams, Scylla following closely behind him. He didn't think he OR Scylla were ready for this at all... but he'd just have to suck it up and give it his all.

Having heard both of their responses he could not help but feel a sort of kinship with them. He used to fight for the exact same reasons before that reason was ripped away from him. Now he fought only in direct defense of himself and his patients. But lately there was more too it then that, far more in fact. Letting out a little sigh he motioned for the twins to follow him up to the upper level.

Once they were there he began the process of explaining each and every single one of the moves he knew that lead up to that punching ability. Though once he explained and then performed the moves in the series he brushed himself off and began again,"Im going up to the third floor. Do not follow me." With that he turned on heel and headed up the stairs to the third floor. Once he was there he pushed open the reinforced door and pushed it shut behind him though he did not lock it. What he was about to do was something he wanted not a single soul to know about.

While he had every intention of working on staying familiar with his dirty little secret he kept his mind focused on the double tasking he was about to do. As always with before he gathered up a series of dummies to work with. Squaring off with the dummy before him Shiro drew his legs together in line and quickly unleashed a powerful right hook while using the muscles in his legs, hips, chest and arms to generate as much power as he could. When his fist colided with the dummy, while it didnt explode, it did slide a few feet to the left which he was happy with.
          [1/1]

Squaring off with the dummy again he took a step back and brought his arms up to his face in the classic boxer stance. From that stance he slid his back leg back while bending at the knees and crouching down low. From there he flexed his mucles as hard as he could. Once he had generated as much power as he could he exploded upwards in fearsome uppercut which, if it was a human, would have torn its head clean off.
          [1/1]

Recovering from his uppercut shiro took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Backing away from the dummy he brought his hands together and began to mumble while pouring his chakra into his fists,"Milady, give me the strength to protect this land." Thrusting his arms down to the side he smirked as they were engulfed in ruby chakra."Blessed by her grace. Let us embrace her glory."
          [1/1]

Maintaining the flow of chakra though his upper arms, Shiro approached the dummy with a wicked grin. Once again he assumed the basic boxing stance, though is form was loose and rather sloppy. Squaring back up with the dummy he quickly lashed out with a single simple left jab. This jab was then followed up with a right jab. Then back and fourth, right, left, right until he found the rythem he wanted. Letting out a small burst of chakra he lashed out with two exceptionally fast punches which, if he had not been the one doing it, he wouldn't have even noticed it.
          [1/1]

Taking a deep breath he assumed the gentle fist stance. While it was a stance he was familiar with it was one the had not used in some time. Taking a deep breath he began to pour his chakra into his fists in pace with his breathing. With each breath in, he would pull a bit of chakra back. With each breath out he would push a bit more into his hands. Then with a quick motion he brought his right hand down from its upwards position to deliver a quick palm strike to the dummy before him. Normally if it was a person it would stun the person but given that it was just a dummy it simply sat there like nothing had happened.
          [1/1]

Closing his eyes he reluctantly let the emotions and memories of his life in shion spring back to the fore....His right hand formed a seal quickly and the nerves around his eyes bulged as he activated his byakugan. When the elder monk struck the gong he snapped into action. His right arm which was behind him and high looped down quickly as he rushed forward. Just before he was right upon him, his chakra exploded from his palm blasting Natsu backwards away from him. (Hakke Kūshō [ Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm ]) Dashing forwards he lept into the air above him and repeated the motion blasting him into the soft ground. Landing on top of him he smiled and gave him a quick hug before helping him to his feet. Chuckling softly he spoke up,"You declared your intent too loudly friend. Shuffle your feet as you close the distance. Forces them to stay on their toes."
          [1/1]

Fighting back the tears that welled up in response to the memories of his now dead friend Natsu he reveled in the scene that followed.........Tucking his arms in he took a deep breath and super activated his chakra system and tenketsu as he began rolling in place. Within a second an incredible aura blossomed around him before forming into a solid spherical wall of chakra. The sphere of chakra carried a great ruby hugh to it. As if the rays of the sun at sunset solidified around him in a protective barrier.
          [1/1]

Comming out of the spin he watched as the elder disappeared before making contact with the sphere, reappearing on a dozen or so yards away. Landing feet first he fell instantly into the eight tri-grams stance as the four junior members rushed him. What happened next was a blur of motion as his body spammed in what looked like, to the untrained eye, he was having a seizure. Instead his hands and feet were lashing out all around him at breakneck speed slamming into the tenketsu of the four around him. Despite the fact that the technique he was using involved thirty-two strikes, he only hit each of them with thirty two. Both to limit the damage to them and to ensure each of them received an equal number of strikes to keep them all at the same distance.
          [1/1]

This time he could not stop the tears that sprung forth. The pain, the fear, the anger he felt at his failure to remain and fight to the death was simply to much to bear. Though instead of venting his grief in wasted energy of tears, Shiro did something very un-shiro. Turned that pain into anger, and now he was going to vent it upon the target in front of him. Dropping back into the eight trigrams stance he unleashed the quick barrage of thirty two palms but this time he stepped up the speed and continued the assault two fold.
          [1/1]

As the growl in his throat turned into a full blown roar he turned on heel and restarted his assault on a fresh dummy. His body twitched and lashed out in every which way as ruby tears streamed from his eyes. Thirty two palms. Each time his fingers impacted the dummy they pulled a chunk out of the dummy and blew a chunk out of it on the back side of the dummy. Sixty four palms. For him the world seemed to slow down to a crawl. Each time he struck the dummy a face popped up in his mind. Natsu, Shinta, Kazaku, every single member of the village that he had trained with, that he had grown up with. Each one that now lie dead upon the ruins of him home. Each one would be avenged ten fold. He would claim ten lives from the UHV for each and every single one they took from him. The godess would have her due. His brothers and sisters would have their revenge. HE would have his revenge, in this life or the next. One hundred and twenty eight palms.

Still in the groove of training, Unki moved onto a new combative style to study. Her tanto needed more use in it than just a means to folded swing metal back and forth. Bright and shiny new useful tricks. A scroll with information concerning the knife style: Sobagai Deba Sentou was going to become her new “friend”.

Clones would be of service to her, once more, in her hour of training. Knife training that starts with the practice of a countering move and her clone, armed with a kunai, quickly shirking the distance between them. The set up that Unki would start another fight at close range and with another knife user. Close enough. Unki would raise her blade quickly in an upward slash. The quick-reacting clone retreats a step back. Unki could feel the rate of her swing may have increased. The next item, Unki remembers the scroll listing that chakra usage was necessary for the next technique. A jab. Her next strike to the clone would have to be quick. A moment of focus to harness her chakra into hand, then Unki hurries an inward swing to ready her short sword by her shoulder, and then follows through with an attempt to stab at the clone with the hilt of her blade. This perhaps could also work if she had turned her weapon around. Yet, given that the distance between she and the clone were incredibly close, the choice of a forward grip on the sword’s handle seems to suffice.

By now, Unki had gone through one vertical slash. She hops back and pursues another vertical, downward swing, and follows through with an upward swing. Just for giggles, she would say aloud as she makes the addition of speedy sideways slashes. The pattern of directional swings would continue, slowly, for a few more sequences. The pattern of swinging and slashing training was going well. She thought to increase the swing speed some to a more, probable, level for combat. Unki would start to change up the pattern of up, down, and sideways to get a better feel to transition to different patterns. Best for a special-force warrior to avoid being stale and predictable, right? [1 of 1]Learned: Sobagai Deba Sentou: Stage 1: Offensive Style: Simple Play|| Rank: E :: Training

Unki waves the clone back to her having finished with her scurry of sword work. The girl was roaring and ready for the close quarter knife fights. She was feeling much better now, after making the accomplishment of scoring a few new moves, and being able to attain a bit more was feeling great. She looks over the style scroll for the exact specifics on how-to confuse with a new trick. Unki would start straight away in the face of a knife swing brought on by the clone. Pulling off a dodge, she would follow with an upward swing that was actually a purposeful, folly throw. [1 of 2]

Mimicking the scroll’s directions, Unki would spin about the clone. Precise movement was key to getting both in the reach the proper point to catch the falling blade, and to throw off the focus on her opponent. Timing made the difference. Unki caught the blade by its hilt and slid the handle back into grip.[2 of 2]Learned: Sobagai Deba Sentou: Stage 2: Countering Technique: Back Repel || Rank: D :: Simple

With her sword back in hand, Unki would move onto the next technique. The technique was actually a simple hand trick useful for cleverly tossing a knife back and forth, confuse an opponent, and see if the upper-hand can’t be found. Should she be able to repeat its use say, two of three tossings back and forth, it may turn into a confusing spectacle. [1 of 2]

She gave the “Change of Hands” a try. A vertical swing to find the motion, she would guide the sword back to level with borh hands. Her shoulders leaning backward some to make room for her hanging hair and then makes the first lively toss to her right hand from her left. Again. This time, she makes a slightly more swift toss to the left hand before bouncing back to the right. Her clone laughs at the sight. During the sword-swapping show to refine her practice, Unki recalls a fine follow-up technique which she had read over. “Kneecap Surprise” caught her eye as it mentioned the technique as a suggestion to use this specific action after taking the route of “change of hands”. In the meantime, prior to trying the transition into the next technique, Unki would toss her sword back and forth. With the wait, her clone read up on the scroll that sits just a ways to the side. The clone has grown quiet and dry of amusement in the face of knowing what is to come next. [1 of 2]

The sword is tossed right, left, a few false horizontal swings as prep work prior to the final strike. The sheath was fitted well against her clothing and took the option to avoid the imminent stabbing with a dull sheath. The goal is, after all, to down her opponent as soon as she can to stake a victory or maintain her own life. Unki flips her sword into the air, catches it, and then makes the dreaded strike into her clone’s leg. Her clone winced. The response would’ve been worse if she hadn’t known what was coming. She was strong though, resisted too much more than a stifled, heavy inhale before dissipating into hot air. The real Unki had closed her eyes before the tumbling heave of air exploded in her face. Swift Dart was next. Unki began to channel chakra in her left hand. [1 of 2]

There wasn’t need for a clone yet as all she would service is as a moving target. She readied her sword in her hand, took aim, and chucked it at a straw training dummy several feet away. The zipping sword was silent. The only sounds came from the slight rustle of straw. [2 of 2]Learned: Sobagai Deba Sentou: Stage 2: Offensive : Kneecap Surprise || Rank: X :: Simple

Next item. Unki goes to collect her sword from the straw being, gifts a friendly pat onto its inanimate straw head, and skips back to her previous spot. “Knife Toss” was an additional session of knife maneuvering to best the flashy tricks of throwing, juggling, and catching knives by their hilts. It would be embarrassing to slice a finger open and fumble a falling blade in a life or death situation. [1 of 2]

Her tanto returns to its sheath and she collects the two kunai she had redirected earlier. So far, her practice had included some throwing into-the-air time and it was time to shake things up with juggling. Unki removes a third knife from her supplies and tosses each blade into the air one by one. It took more than a few tries to keep all three in the air, but, she managed. The next technique was a drawing of the sword move. As it turned out, with her sword sheathed, she was essentially ready to give the technique a try. First try. Unki reaches over her head, grabs her sword, and draws. A simple practice to grasp before the second try and the first slash. [1 of 2]

Her sword is re-set in her sheath. Its vertical location was a little unusual for a battle-ready position. For her draw to be truly effective, one would have to be aware of herself at all times. Once more, she would reach over her shoulder, grab onto the hilt, and pause before the pull. Swing! Unki pulls the sword free and into a sideways slash. [2 of 2]

          ooc// Learned Stages 1 & 2 of Sobagai Deba Sentou //

A chipper bounce between techniques was the start of a much needed break. There was still much to go through for the weapon style. Unki heaves a sigh and takes a second to fix and adjust her puffy braids and top-knot. It was hard to think how she could go about and call her hair “braided” as it looked more like she shoved spherical ornaments of varying sizes under her hair for the puffy look.
“Uwaaah” A breathy, spoken, sigh was all she could muster. So much, so much, but I want to be ready for whatever else head of me…!
A humming moan, which sounded more like griping groan, expresses her thoughts on the work still ahead of her. But, she was ninja. She must endure.
Unki knelt to pick the scroll up to study the next technique up close, on the way back to a full stand, a glance up onto her surroundings in front of her shows her an open doorway that led into a hallway. A blur of someone passes by. Her current knowledge of the full extent of this building was little, but, somehow she had turned up on the second floor. The direction that suspiciously, familiar glimpse of a person that resembled the side of Shiro, was heading off somewhere. Was he looking for a room to practice? Was there other rooms on this floor to practice on? Maybe?
If anything, her thoughts began to wander as started to roll up the scroll before stuffing it into one of her pockets, could he be able to help me? He seems tough enough to avoid being accidentally stabbed during practice- or heal himself- whatever came first.

Another chipper bounce on her feet led her to the hallway. Shiro disappeared. But she was determined to at least ask one non-chakra conjured creature to help her out. One. She would follow his assumed path through the hall and poked her head into of the very few, passing, open doorways to find them free of any red-haired Shiros. Onward!

          The staircase?

Up the flight of stairs onto the mysterious third floor. Quite the new little experience this venture for training was becoming. The third floor wasn’t too much different from the previous, maybe? Yes, there was a reinforced door plainly present. Unki, significantly less chipper than before, approached the door and gently took hold what could be best described as the door knob. Open. A careful push and enough of an opening that she wedged a hand in with her head close behind. The last thing she wanted was something on the other side staking challenges to keep the door closed.
She survey the new room:l Up and along the ceiling, the walls and checking if the floor was any different from outside. There were a few remnants of something, hopefully of inanimate origin, scattered in some bits. “Shiro?”

It was visible in the faces of both Jeon and Jay that they were off put by the comments of the male's initial statements, but moreso they both had observed the signs of some kind of traumatic stress the boy was experiencing from their time in the hospital. He clearly was one with some personal issues he would have to work through. For Jeon Gyeon this struck close to home for her. The specific chord hit was her need to aid others just as much as her want to destroy. He lost someone. He blamed himself. Jeon didn't have the words to explain away his pain, to soothe him. Not right now. Jay watched the boy walk off and couldn't help but feel bad within as well. Where Jeon Gyeon foolishly hoped her words could help, Jay only wanted only to help him get stronger. His apathy to the village was a sour note for the patriot in Jay. To the human within him, the scared boy who had nothing and wanted to protect his sister who had only survived on the good graces of some old shopkeep who let them live with him for a time, it was even worse. But somehow beyond all of his own feelings Jay found a way to accept what Hitoshi said, what he felt. No words came from him, just a hard expression and a nod at the back of his head. The two turned to Shiro then, now that they were only and offhandedly mentioned something as they followed him. "Did you know they put us on a squad together with one, Unki Amano?" When they reached their destination, the pair looked at Shiro, memorizing each movement he did. After each explanation, they would mimic what he did, detailed as follows:

So the first skill he had shown them was extremely easy to understand. The pair ran and leaped while aiming their feet and letting out martial artist styled whoops. The skill was as much an opener as it was a pretty strong attack considering the general strength that the pair of them held within their bodies already. The dummies they hit went flying back from the impact, falling apart against the wall and leaving dents in it. This building wasn't going to last very long between the pair of them and Shiro evidently. [Dynamic Entry.]

Moving to the next skill they observed how he, this time, blended his punches and kicks together, and with such fury. They could get behind that. So they also launched at a pair of mannequins with their limbs moving in confusing patterns to do as much damage as possible, as fast as possible. What lay before them after was a jumbled mess of a thing that would be most useful as firewood now. [Dynamic Action]

Following that, the next skill was so simple it would barely even pass as having to be learned. The pair moved as fast as they could and slammed their bodies into their targets. The impact sent the dummies sprawled onto the ground, cracked in the middle but actually still in tact as they slid across the room. If they were shoved into something, however, this would be devastating. [Tokken]

To follow this up, the pair of them would follow the instructions given by Shiro. They could tell this style wasn't too similar to the Jing Fe: all about motion and sticking to the ground, being flexible and dangerous. No, this one was all about doling out damage as fast as possible, as hard as possible. When the7y reached their targets they reared their fists upward and then drove them down into the dummy, cracking the ground itself and causing the ceiling below to rumble, making the lights move. What could they say, the twins were dangerous combatants indeed. The dummies were done for now, nothing holding the piles of rubble together. [Pressure Palm]

Next a pair of dummies would go flying into the air along side a pair of bodies after a demonstration from Shiro. They leaped after it, rotating it's body so that it was below them a bit. AS the fell they grabbed it's ankles and wrapped their legs below their waste, crossing their feet just below the head in order to really drive home toe damage. Once more, they exploded a pair of dummies into rubble and threatened the structure of the floor. [Peregrine Drop.]

Now falling into a basic fighting stance, the pair reared back their hands, watching shiro do the same before he shoved his palm into the solar plex of the dummy. The next room over suddenly had a new resident. With a grin, they each did the same and sent their dummies through the wall just beside the first hole that was made. Now that was a cool attack. [Crushing Palm]

The next skill was an odd one to do, but cool in practice as they watched Shiro perform and explain the specifics behind it. First, he tossed a mannequin as high as he could for Jay, who was quick to leap up behind it. From above he would be invisible if he were the same size as the wooden mannequin. He snatched it from the air and came down, holding it with praise from Jeon. He then threw it for Jeon, who leaped and managed it on her first try as well. They were naturals! [Leaf Shadow Dance.]

Now was the time for them to push their speed to the up most limits. With a shunshin, they appeared ahead of their dummy, taking the few extra steps to get in proper range, and drove the heel of their legs into the dummy. It was odd, using their feet to deal direct damage as it wasn't a principle they were really used to, but either way the attack was successful and the dummies were stuck into the ceiling. [Leaf Spinning Wind]

Shiro was quick to give them their next skill to work on, and they paid no mind to the speed with which they were picking up on the more basic skills in this style's arsenal because they were literally born martial artists. Replicating what they saw the spun in the air and delivered a pair of powerful kicks, sending the dummies spiraling into each other in an impressive show of teamwork. They slid to a stop just ahead of the destruction they had caused, and gave each other a high five. [Leaf Great Whirlwind]

A more simple spinning kick followed, and after twisting their frames in the proper motion, the twins simply allowed their legs to swipe the dummy so powerfully that it flew away from them, crashing into a wall and turning into a pile of wood like all those before. [Leaf Violent Wind]

Next, the duo followed the given instruction to brace against the ground below them and coil the muscles in their legs. When they launched their knee strike the dummy was hit so fiercely that it came apart before it even hit the wall and the joints were further destroyed they landed, impressed with what kind of damage they were capable of doling out. When they were sharing the body, their specific skills would come largely in handy. [Knee Strike]

Shiro tossed a pair of dummies up, and the twins followed behind them, lifting a leg up over their heads. Whent he limbs connected they drove down with force great enough to once again threaten the structure below them. In fact as the floor nearly gave way, their feet were both stuck in the ground. They had to fight to free themselves, pulling debris from their victim away with them and sommersaulting, for Jeon, and flipping backwards, for Jay. Being as strong as they were had both some advantages and disadvantages. [Painful Sky leg.]

After a two minute breather, they upped the intensity and began the next stage. With a devestating spin Shiro had made the wind itself run from his foot as he showed them the next skill. The twins did the same motion once, gathering even more strength than he he had used to utterly destroy the arm on their target, set up with a wooden sword, which had been imbedded in the wall off to the side. [ Leaf Herculean Wind ]

The next skill was cool as hell to watch Shiro perform, and the excitement to hear the how-to was clear in the face of Jeon and Jay both. After a quick description they launched the dummies themselves, and then leaped behind them with skills they had already learned today. The first kick hit dead on, and the backhand similarly doled out a lot of damage shattering the head of the dummy. With aggression they didnt usually acknowledge they held within, they delivered a straight dedicated to sending the dummy into the ground. They hlanded with matching Axe kicks, putting another nail in the coffin of the ground below them. [Lion Combo]

Finally moving to the last skill of this stage, they mvoed into the safe zone on the dummy, right inside of it's defenses, and lifted them with one arm. They drove their fists straight upwards, sending the dummy, in a few pieces of course, into the ceiling, knocking the ones they had stuck up their earlier. [Rising Impact Palm!]

Now the last stage, what they had built up to over the last hour or so, was the fun one. They focused their chakra at the behest of their friend, instructing them that the power they were building could increase their strength by magnitudes of double what they already had. And that was already plenty. They drove a straight punch at the air itself and released the power. Theyc ould visibly see the displacement of the air ahead of them at the strength they had released, and the slight complaint in their muscles was a testament to that same power. To say they were impressed was an understatement. [Oukashou]

Shiro launched a pair of dummies for them, and they rose above them with their fists reared back, elemental chakra as well as Oukashou force welled up. Jeon's fist was enveloped in lightining, while Jay had an orb of water around his own as they punched down. The two dummies nigh on warped to the ground, a burst of water and electricity putting the nail in the coffin of yet another floor of the dojo's second level. Jay landed, barely, ahead of the hole and caught Jeon's hand, swinging her up with ease. They smiled at each other, glad they chose this style afterall. Shiro then looked at them seriously, which put Jeon on edge and made Jay uneasy. When he went upstairs, the duo gave him his space, letting him know they'd wait for him before they set off for the exam grounds. They spent another half an hour doing cooldown exercises and then fell down through the hole they made, leaving the academy with their new weapons and knowledge. [Leaf Thunder Fist]

As his breath slowly returned from the rather exhausting effort of that many blows that quickly he turned to see the source of the voice. Unki. He did not want her to see him in the state he was currently in. Turning his back on her for a moment he blinked his eyes clear but did not replace the contacts. When the nerves faded back to their normal state, his chakra followed suit causing the flames to die into nothingness. Turning on heel he sighed,"How much did you see Miss Amano?" It was a stern question but there was no anger behind his voice merely the remnants of the sadness and pain he had felt before.

She was right; as it was Shiro who she was following. The door is pushed a few cautious inches upon listening to Shiro's question. A her voice creaked some after as if she quickly needed stifle her own words. He didn't seem angry. Unki's perpsective of the sitatution tuned into a probable feeling of more of a subdued state of alarm. How much did she see? As she weaved her way in further from behind the door she could identify the mystery bits as pieces of listless target dummies. Shiro, on the other hand, stood at a slightly more obvious location but her angle placed him off some.
"Not..." Her voice dwindled into a pause upon the attempt to inspect the managled figure of a target dummy, "too much." Certainly not enough for her to soundly identify what technique would make such an impact. "You're all- I mean- you're. Um..."
By now, Unki was fully within the room and began to feel sheepish for coming in. Her hand fumbling to take the other's fingers as she was facing a lack of words to say. "I didn't mean to come and bother you. Would you want to be alone?"
It wasn't too becoming of the situation that Shiro has turned away from her.
