Max/Gronk's story: Seek and Destroy(Pupsage)

"Welcome, Please come in..."

Gronk, Worg, and 4 of Gronk's warriors stood staring into the chamber where the dragon lich, Valinthruk, waited for their arrival.

Valinthruk placed a spell on the High King. Linking both their life-forces and his power with the monarch. In the end, making the High King virtually invincible harm as long as the dragon remained on the king's side. And rumor had it the immortal lich issued a large bounty for the heads all tribes in the region.

As the warriors entered they are blinded by a large and empty room with no roof. The only things of note was a table and a handsomely dressed human male, who sat at the table sipping at an orc-skull-made goblet.

"... Please come in." Valinthruk would calmly restate his invitation. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your presence?"

"Remember Gronk, he won't stay dead until you destroy his phylactery, keep him talking, I will look for the phylactery. Okay? Gronk, are you listening. Gronk?" The worg fades from view, padding ahead, The giant half orc and his raiding party enter the room, weapons drawn. He inhales and begins to shout a warcry at the dracolich, his raiding party joining in.

That was as much conversation as he needed.

The thing hiding in human form, momentarily smiled as if both amused and put off by the act of bravado.

But, still the sound of feet running away from the orc tribe echoed in the room.

"I see." And with a wave of his hand, the short-lived smile faded, as two of Gronk's warriors halved over spuing forth bile and blood. Even the Mighty Gronk's stomach felt the ping of dark magic, but he wasn't as feeble as his tribesmen. With the show of powers out of the way, Valinthruk stood from his table.
