Connor nodded and walked with her out to the stables. The old stable master there redyed their horses and he pulled out his prized thoroughbred Clydesdale. A beautiful Black Mare with white on her nose and her legs beneath her knees were white. Her hair was black at the front but faded into white and her tail was white. Her hair was long and left that way. "This is Ally. She's a Clydesdale." He said, introducing her to Arianna. "Originally the breed is much shorter and used for Draft or working fields, but I've been improving on their stats for a while now. She's the first of her kind. Large, powerful and swift." He said and gave her a soft pat on her nose. "She's ready to put your Devilwind to the test." He smirked.

Arianna smiled wide as she moved to Ally and pet her nose. "Such a pretty girl. Your so beautiful." She said to the horse. She loved horses and had always been told that she had a way with them. Grinning at Connor, she said. "Well, I'm sure my Devil Wind can keep up." She said going over to Devil Wind and mounting like an expert. They moved out of the stables and into the beautiful night. "Is there a place we can go to get a good view of the stars? They're so beautiful tonight. It's like all the rain of the last few days have cleared the air and the stars and moon are shining even brighter." She said in awe as she looked up. The wooded areas were kind of getting in her view though and she remembered the cliff that she would go to near her home to just lay back and look at the stars.

Connor thought for a moment and nodded. "I know of a place." He mounted his Mare and clicked his tongue, leading her away towards the castle. "Follow behind and keep up." He told Arianna and rode off fast. He looked back and seen she was still behind him, that beast of a horse was doing his job well. They rode down the path, clumps of dirt and grass tore as the horses hovels beat down on the road.

They came to a clearing from the forest, heading up a hill, the only thing out here now was dying trees as the cliff span over the ocean. He slowed his horse and dismounted her. He tied her reigns onto one of the dying trees and helped Arianna off of her horse. "How was the ride?" He asked and smiled, Tying Devil Wind up with Ally. How is this?" He took her hand and they walked closer to the cliff's edge. "They call this place Lost peak. The story goes there was two young lovers. A woman who was in love with a man but the woman's sister was also in love with this man. She wanted to break them up so she claimed she was a witch." He wrapped his arm around her and looked out at the horizon where the water met the sky and the moon reflected on the water perfectly in the pitch of night. "The village chased the young lovers out to this point where she jumped off to save him from being murdered, but he jumped after her." He sighed. "Her body washed ashore, but his never did. Some say he grew wings and flew away with her soul into the night where they could be together forever."

Arianna stood listening to him, closing her eyes and opening her mind she reached out with her senses. As he finished the story, she opened her eyes, tears filled them and she nodded. "It was a very traumatic event that is still burned into this place." She could feel the emotions from long ago running through her as she could almost see the whole thing take place. "They had a great love that lasted through hundreds of years." She said feeling the sorrow and the joy. Focusing on what she was feeling, she smiled. "They did find each other again. He was also a Vampire." She smiled wider. "I didn't know Vampires had soul mates. But I guess they do." She looked over the edge of the cliff and her heart beat faster. The terror that the two felt was ingrained in the very soil that they stood on. She had never before had a vision as clear as the one that took her now. The faces, the screaming and the fear took her over as she turned, blind to what was happening in the real world, her mind and sight filled with the past. "N...No...I'm no witch! You know this! Why do you claim this?" She begged the woman that she knew was the reason this had happened, the reason the villagers were after them. Her hands reached out, grabbing Connor, but seeing a different man as she fought her fear. Realizing there was only one way out, she released him and looked into his eyes. "I love you forever..." She whispered as she moved towards the edge intending to jump.

Connor watched her as she spoke and he felt something odd in the air and he shivered. Then Arianna started to speak as if she was the woman. "Arianna!" He shouted to her. She grabbed him and the look in her eyes was empty. It scared him to the bone. "Arianna, stop!" He shouted as she stepped back towards the edge. He quickly dashed to her and grabbed onto her, pulling her back away from the ledge. He wrapped his arms around her and moved, pulling her away from the edge even as she was shouting and trying to get away from him. He stopped back at the tree and turned her to look at him. "Arianna!" He shouted, and shook her slightly. "Arianna! It's me, snap out of it!" He said and took a shot in the dark figuring a way to bring her back to reality. He kissed her, wrapping his arms around her he kissed her with everything he had.

Arianna struggled against him until he kissed her. Something in his kiss brought her back to her senses and she stopped struggling and kissed him back as passionately as he was kissing her. Moving back from him slightly, her eyes met his confused. "What happened?" She asked him not remembering how she ended up in hos arms. Then she had a flash of memory and went pale. "Oh God...Connor...A terrible thing happened here..." She said trembling softly against him. "Did I....Was I somewhere else?" She asked looking up at him. This had happened to her only once before. "I...I've only had that happen once before. It's when I learned about my abilities and it happened because of a very violent and very deadly curse that had affected the people that had died there." She said in a trembling voice. "I...I'm sorry." She said ashamed that he had seen that. She hadn't ever wanted to feel that again but she hated losing control of her mind and body like that as well.

Connor breathed relief and shook his head. "oh thank god." He whispered against her neck as she held her. "You scared me so.." He said again, his heart felt like it was racing. "we'll never come to this place again. I'm sorry this happened." He was angry with himself for not being able to do anything to stop what had happened. He felt like he needed to protect her from everything, and right now he was doing a piss job of that. He couldn't keep her safe from things that he could not see. He needed to figure out how he could gain this third eye. "Do you want to head back, M'lady? Or perhaps somewhere else?"

he shocked her with his reaction. He seemed extremely worried and bothered by what happened, as was she because she did remember wanting to jump to her death, but it hadn't been her...it had been the memory of the traumatic event that had happened in this very spot. Then he called her M'Lady and she gasped realizing that of she married him, she would be called that by everyone. It was a bit of a shock for a girl that has been a peasant all of her life. "Oh! No M'Lord I don't want to go back! I'm sorry my abilities do this....well I've had it happen once before but this is the first time in many many years. I can't promise it won't happen again. It's just that the memory left here in this spot is so traumatic that it left a stamp on this ground, it left it's mark and the emotions here are so strong that even someone not 'gifted' can feel it. Someone that is....well, we have real trouble with places like this. It's just a part of being....gifted." She said gifted very sarcastically. She didn't consider it a gift but a curse most of the time. "Let's just go somewhere else, please, I am having too good a time to go home now." She looked up at him with a smile and wrapped her arms around him. He was so large compared to her, strong and yet he was sweet, kind, and gently with her. She didn't doubt for a minute that he would do some damage to anyone he wanted to, but he reigned it in for her and she realized that only made him sexier to her.
