Anyways, I'm wondering if the controller of the RPC Adonis is still planning on joining in on the 'fun'. It's been... roughly 2 weeks now since his last post on 05/18 and it's now 06/04))
(At this point we should just label his entry a forfeit and just have his character KO'd out of the match. Two weeks is more than enough time to make some sort of effort to post.)

With his punch doing nothing more than lifting Kiori up into the air he has to give some credit to the old timer, he did know his stuff when it came to using his element to defend himself even from his physical attacks. Though it would do him no good though as even though he was being yanked by his cloak, the cloak wouldn't so much tear but rather break away from Kiori's grip as if that piece had unraveled and separated before disappearing like shadows against Kiori's hands as he was starting to be launched back through the air.. His foot digs square into the ground to stop his forward momentum as now the distance had been closed to where his hand was already outstretched and pointed at Kiori. His eyes narrow slightly as he notices the shimmering specks of light energy mixed in with the beads of sweat upon Kiori, much more apparent to him because of his element of darkness. He knew this had Sky-dron written all over it but what was he up to? No matter as his attack was already prepared. "Bang..."
He unleashes a large blast of dark energy straight at the sweating old timer as his eyes then suddenly shift towards his own cloak as he notices the shimmering specks. That's when they all started to explode as his body is consumed in the explosion. When all is settled and the smoke clears his body is no where to be seen. Had he been destroyed by the blast of light energy? All was calm in those silent moments that passed. That's when the ground beneath Sky-dron would shatter out from underneath him as a large blast of dark energy breaks through looking to consume Sky-dron whole. He comes floating up out of the large crater some blood dripping from his arm as it appears to have been singed a little bit from the earlier blast. "I see you play dirty Sky-dron... Attacking an opponent while he has his back turned." He smirks some. "And here I didn't think you had it in you. Very sly... If I had been a second slower you may have gotten me there."
At the moment of the earlier light explosion he had swung his other arm around charging it with dark energy as he unleashed it in a sweeping, arcing motion into one of the blasts as it created an opening as the darkness itself blasted a way for him to escape using his speed to outrun the other explosions down into the black of the earth where he had a moment to recuperate,his cloak having been completely obliterated from the blast with it being made of shadows. He stands at the ready knowing that at least one of his two opponents was still very much a threat to him that's if Sky-dron somehow manages to get out of his sneak attack. He didn't know if Kiori had survived the dual attack from both of them.
Only Sky-dron's voice would greet Thanatos as he reappeared. "Really Thanatos... and you're the one who called this a battle royale match. Would have thought you'd expect the unexpected attack or two." A chuckle would follow then before the voice continued. "Speaking of which..." Sky-dron's words would make it obvious that an attack was coming, with the only question being from where. The front? The back? From where would it come?
Thanatos would have his answer shortly, for the dust kicked up by Thanatos's entrance blast was beginning to clear... in a manner much like it was being sucked into something, which was also beginning to cause Thanatos's own clothes to rustle as well, not to mention the clothes of the spectators as well. The cause of this was quickly revealed as several spinning orbs of energy were revealed surrounding Thanatos on all sides, including one that was literally at his feet. All together there were roughly 20 in all. The ever aware Thanatos would probably quickly note that these were not simple orbs of light energy either, but also had faint traces of darkness energy incorporated as well... and the signature of which would be personally familiar to him, being as it was his own. He would also probably note that the placement of the orbs around him left for no 'blind spots' as well, as each orb's 'field' would be slightly over lapping with those around it, save for the one at his feet... an extra 'treat' for him to deal with.
The orbs were only revealed for a short time, before they showed their purpose... in that they each created what could only be called a mini black hole. While they were not true black holes in the sense that they continually sucked all matter into the void never to be seen again, they functioned in much the same way. They sucked up everything in proximity, drawing it in to the center where a sort of gravity effect was applied in the form of an intense crushing, before being subjugated to an intense energy explosion that would literally vaporize any solid matter, such as the stone of the arena, unlucky enough to be caught in the field of the blast as it expanded outwards.
Thanatos could try to separate the darkness from them, but he would quickly find that the darkness energy simply acted as a marker of sorts, blended into the light energy to create a homing effect designed to track Thanatos's. The adding of Thanatos's own energy signature would have another effect as well, in that it would be more effective towards Thanatos personally. While the spectators would feel a slight breeze, to Thanatos the degree of the force being applied to him would feel like one would feel if one were standing in a wind tunnel. Thanatos's preference of escaping through the darkness was coming back to haunt him as well... as the explosive aspect was designed to track him, through our reality and through any portal or dimensional rift he tried to escape through. Thanatos would certainly be hard pressed to escape this... especially since one of these mini black holes was literally right at his feet.

He looks around at the multiple orbs that surround him yet again shaking his head only slightly. "Reverting back to the same old tricks, hmm Sky-dron? Haven't you learned anything yet of our many battles?" That's when it hits him as he senses the darkness within the orbs as they start to draw upon the arena around them allowing him to get a nice little breeze. He can only smirk at this point as he looks to the new death trap that Sky-dron has laid out for him. "Well... Perhaps an old dog can learn new tricks. I am impressed at your attempt of combining the light and the dark. That must have really hurt you though using bits of my own energy, your own element's natural counter, to create these."
He was well aware of what the swirling mass of a black hole was capable of and these were no different as his eyes steadily look around at all of them surrounding him as they were steadily starting to grow stronger in the strength of their pull. He looks down at the one positioned near his feet as he tilts his head slightly before closing his eyes. Firming up his stance it allows him to hold his ground against the steady pull of each of the orbs as his own senses within the darkness branch out through the arena. It was in his state of concentration and focus that he was able to see the individualized strands of his own dark energy within the orbs as they stood out against the void as flaming spheres.
Raising up his hands from his sides his fingertips start to glow with a purple flaming-type aura. It's almost like a spider spinning its own web that the darkness laces out from his hands as they attach themselves to each orb before they are appropriately destroyed by the light surrounding each. This doesn't break his resolve though as he clenches his hands down into fists as the aura surrounding his fingertips changes colors from the lightened purple to a dark red swirled in with black. The orbs react to this change as the bits of his own energy that Sky-dron had laced them with to home in on his being changed their presence as well, firing up inside of the light orbs as he opens his hands back out as his eyes open slowly revealing those glowing crimson orbs hidden within.
He starts to rise up into the air as the orbs follow along with him keeping their original positions. "Your technique is flawed in the understanding of just how the darkness works. Such an attack would have worked with another user but not against me. Now prepare to die at your hands." He moves his arm swirling it around as he hurls the orb towards the Arena lights as it sweeps across destroying each one as it makes its way towards where Sky-dron lay in hiding as he keeps his eyes fixed upon those sets of lights as in the dark Sky-dron stood out to him light a lightning bug lit up against the backdrop of the night.

((Haven't had time to post a reply, as I've been working long hours these last few days. Working til Monday, so I won't be able to post until then. ))

For all of Thanatos's spiel about how Sky-dron's technique was flawed, he had sent the combined orb back towards him... with all the light energy still inside, something that Sky-dron planned to take full advantage of. As the combined orb neared him, he would draw back his hand, the familiar glow of light energy easily visible. Within the next second he had launched himself forwards, as if to meet the orb head on (a reckless and headstrong plan to be sure). His path of motion however, would take him just over the top of the orb... though just barely. As he did so, his hand containing the energy would drop slightly, as if to drag across the orb's surface. As it did, Sky-dron would use the gathered light energy to essentially 'hook on' the orb itself, or rather the light energy contained within. As he did so, his path of motion would shift, resulting in his heading towards the arena floor. As his momentum had been shifted by the orb's, so to had it's momentum been shifted as well. As his path of motion was changed towards the arena floor, the orb's path of motion was subsequently changed into the opposite direction... namely up and out of the arena via a circular opening, as Sky-dron had released his hold on the orb by dissipating the gathered energy in his own hand.
Sky-dron would land in an easy crouch on the arena floor, raising back into a standing position to focus his gaze upon Thanatos across the arena. A moment would pass before a rather amused smirk would appear on Sky-dron's face as he drew first his left hand up and across the space before him, sending a rather large orb of light towards Thanatos, shortly followed his right hand being drawn up and across as well to send several small orbs towards Thanatos... right about the same time the large orb detonated violently above them, sending pulsing waves of radiating light and darkness back down towards the arena below. Thanatos and Sky-dron would receive the brunt of them, being on the arena's floor, though Thanatos would soon find himself receiving more than just the radiating energy.
The first orb that Sky-dron had sent towards Thanatos would reach roughly 1/2 to 3/4 of the distance between the two, at which point it would detonate... in a manner of speaking as the waves from the exploding orb above began to rain down. What it would do is proceed to radiate waves of light energy through out the arena. While this might not be a bad thing, the type of waves it was radiating would certainly make things harder for Thanatos. These radiating waves would induce a rather nasty nauseating effect, messing with Thanatos's center of gravity and balance. To Thanatos it would seem like the entire arena, if not the world itself, was spinning around him. This effect, combined with the pressuring waves from above, would make it rather difficult for the darkness user to keep his balance and there in lay the danger. Sky-dron's second attack was following close behind, in the form of a large number of smaller orbs of light energy that looked to be nothing more than shimmers in the air. It would look as though someone had tossed golden glitter into the air, gleaming and shimmering brightly as it catches the light. Sky-dron made no effort to hide the shimmering, for to Thanatos it would appear to teleport short distances in rapid succession, though even the most alert would have trouble determining exactly where it was under these circumstances. Thanatos would need to be up the task though... for the results would certainly be explosive should he fail, as the first orbs would detonate just before reaching him, followed by the others in rapid succession in a traveling carpet bombing method.

((Ok... I think this has gone on long enough. I know you said you had RL problems to deal with Thanatos, but it has been quite a while now... and *clicks on your profile* at the time of this posting, you haven't been online since 08/01... I'll be nice and give you til the end of the week, but if I don't hear from you by then I'm declaring this match over.))
