Just... don't speak that language again. Said the Gekkinada. Looking out at the reef where they had been, the Gekkinada shook his head. Besides, I think you offended them.

The crew slowly started going back to their business of tending the controls and looking out the windows... There was no sign of the Mer hunters from before.

"They're just snobs, they think anything that doesn't have scales and gills shouldn't be in the ocean. Bah!" Tollemiir went back to looking out the porthole to see what else he could spot. He thought the images were lovely but he was also hopeful to bring in either a cool new discovery from the depths or get on with getting a large shipment of coffee beans.

The ship continued on for a while, carefully navigating the coral reefs. This reef must be massive, for even the ship could slip through gaps in the coral if the crew was careful enough. Fish swam to and fro; all kinds of exotic tropical species, some that Tollemiir would recognize and would not recognize.

Eventually, the shapes in the coral reefs seemed to have changed shapes... eventually forming a grouping of tall coral pillars in which the ship had to squeeze through. Above water, this was called the Coral Spikes; an area oft avoided by sailors in larger vessels. It was not long at their speed, that they sped through it, before below there was a drop off in the sea floor...

Tollemiir was fascinated drawing sketches of the things he didn't recognize in a thick journal making happy bubbling noises. He got very curious as to what they may find as they approached the drop point.

Past the drop point they found an area shaped like a great creator within the sea floor... and within were buildings seemingly all crafted out of coral. There were all kinds, in all different colors, of all shapes and sizes, designed in co-eccentric circles around the largest building, which was clearly a massive and sprawling coral palace.

Swimming amongst the buildings were both Sea Naga and Mer-folk going about their daily lives about their home... however, as The Wired Crow started to pass over their space, many of them looked up to see what all the clatter was....

Firespark's eyes went big.

Oh wow! That must be Auqarious! The only underwater city that the Sea Naga and the Mer-folk share!

Meanwhile, the captain was peering over the ship's wheel to see what was under them. By the nine hells, I never thought I'd get to see that...

His first mate had jumped off his shoulder and was approaching the crowd at the main window. The captain quickly had the Naga first mate take over the wheel so he too could get a closer look at the city below...

Tollemiir was still taking notes and sketches of everything he was looking at including nice sketches of the reactions of the people of the Wired Crow. In a stylized drawing of an unfurled scroll under a sketch he did of the city he wrote its name. "Do we have any brass, glass and water proof mesh hoses connected to pumps?"

The captain was kneeling to look through a porthole nearby. No, I do not believe we do... why do you ask? Though, I can always have someone check the hold to see what we have...

Meanwhile, the Naga and the mer-folk were looking at eachother, then back up at the ship... as if pondering what they wanted to do about this massive metal contraption blocking the sunlight that fell to their home in the waters...

"Well I was thinking of saying hello to our new neighbors on a more personal level. With a pressurized deep sea bill suit. It allows one to walk in their world while pumping air into a helmet so as to maintain pressure and allow me to breath down there." Tollemiir handed the captain several sketches for the design and construction of the suit.... as well as designs of minotaur Vespaleen and Gekkinada shaped suits as well... should anyone else be interested.

The captain looked down at the sketches and flipped through them, scratching his chin. It looked relatively simple enough... an inner pressurized rubber suit with an airtight and interlocking outer light metallic shell that helped shield the body from the intense pressures and outer dangers of the sea.

He nodded to himself.

I think I can make something like this... it doesn't look that hard. He glanced at Firespark. Do you want to go too?

The Gekkinada blinked. Oh! Yes!

Just then the Vespaleen buzzed up. He eyed her. You too?

Yeszz.

He nodded before returning to the wheel and doling out orders... things like "Stop turbines" "Are we over the city? No? Good. Weigh anchor."

He then walked off, vanishing into the captains quarters...

Tollemiir himself being a creative and inventive type knew the burden of creation and invention when assumed to need to be alone first hand. so soon after the captain walked off so too did Tollemiir follow after...

Tollemiir found himself standing in the Captain's quarters. The room was large-- very large infact-- with enough space for a Minotaur of the captain's stature to move about comfortably. The room was long, and he appeared to be in the living area.

The room was decorated by very large and lavish furniture, mainly crafted of metals but decorated with fine cushions of soft cottons and other fabrics. There were drapes here and there, as well as fine paintings and a few sculptures.

There was the sound of activity coming from behind some curtains. Sounded like things being moved about, like brass and tubes and the shiff of oiled leather...
