Finn watched the two she-cats for a moment before turning his attention back onto Flint who, by that time, had already caught another mouse and was eating it. "Yes, I'm ready to talk." the black tom said as he padded closer to the mother of his future kits. He honestly did not expect them to be parents of the same kits, but he was glad she was a strong and powerful she-cat who was easily able to defend herself against attacks and cats like Nightstripe. "I'll always protect the kits, even when they are apprentice age, as you say." said the tom as he wrapped his tail around his front paws as a way to keep himself from kneading the ground. He didn't know if he'd be a good father, but he felt like the little family they were growing would be in great paws, especially if Thunder and Petal stuck around.
[Sorry I've been gone so long. I didn't mean it. Surprise for you all, especially for Loiiy. I hope you all can excuse the position these came from.]

[OMG Snow, is it yours?] Flint's bright yellow eyes studied Finn's face after he spoke, and then finally she looked down at her swollen belly, and an expression of complete love and protectiveness, covered her face for a moment, before she hid it. "I'm glad you'll stay around for them." She replied. She wasn't sure of she considered herself and Finn mates, they had mated, but that didn't make them mates, but he was the father of her soon-to-be-born kits, and she wanted him around. "I'll protect them too, until the day I am dead, and longer if Starclan or the Dark forest are truly real." Then Flint looked back up at him. "I...may not be the best mother...mine wasn't...but I'll try for them, I promise." Even as she spoke she looked away, embarrassed to be saying such mushy things.
[Wait, there's freaking 2 of them! I'm PMing you. ]

[The calico is "mine" while the tom "belongs" to my older and youngest brothers. emotion_facepalm I will upload pictures and videos from my phone to my photobucket. If anyone wants to see them, just go to my account and look under Mobile uploads.]
"I think you'll be a great mother," Finn said rather innocently. Sure, Flint was hard and unbearable most days, but she was a good cat at heart. He only resented being under her paws, so to speak. "But, are we having the talk now?" he asked, a happy look in his eyes as he looked at the small gray she-cat expectantly. "Or is this the talk because I know you'll be the best mother for these kits, and I think if Petal and Thunder hang around long enough, they'll become great aunts for the kits." Finn liked thinking on the bright side of things, and he wondered if maybe Petal could find homes for the kits if they ever decided to live the same kind of life as her and the life he once lived. Surely Flint would disapprove, but if it meant their kit's happiness, he was willing to sacrifice anything to attain it.
[I'm going to combine the PMs you send me into two PMs, Loiiy.]

"Thanks." Flint said, licking her paw to hide her embarrassment, as her pelt heated up. Seems Finn could be sweet, as he was proving once again. She was happy her kits would have a good father. She'd always assumed if a tom got her pregnant, he's leave her to raise the kits on her own. "That was the talk." She replied, and thought about his comment. She still hadn't spent enough time around the two she-cats to call them 'aunts' to her kits yet, but the more family (protection) for her kits the better, so she would get to know them. Besides, they seemed nice enough. "Mother said that in a clan, when a female warrior finds out she's pregnant, she gives up her warrior duties, and sometimes she wont return to them, but stay's a queen, and helps other she-cats with their kits." She blurted randomly.
[Love kittens. Don't forget Leopardsong and Wheatear's kit happiness too!]

Finn purred. It wasn't such a bad talk. "Good, well, I'll help raise them, and I'll go with almost whatever you want for the kits' well-being." said Finn to the mother of his future kits before she went into the rafters as Nightstripe returned to the barn. The black tom didn't know what the rogue she-cat wanted with them, but Petal handled her quite well despite her pampered appearance before she told Thunder to come with her. "You two should hurry before it gets dark." the tom suggested as he came outside and saw Nightstripe, her musty scent giving her away more than anything else. "Wash yourself by the lake. None of the Clan cats are out right now, though they will be once it's dark." cautioned the tom of the large striped she-cat who didn't understand what manners and social etiquette meant, but not everyone was born with a brain, yet he was willing to give her a chance to redeem herself by not being a nuisance to Flint and the other she-cats as they came to and from the barn.
[Can't blame you on that one, D.C.K., I really can't. My friend (who is in Arizona right now), her family gets a new cat or kitten every two years, and if they find a random stray, they'll take it in as well.]
